How did it wash?
Can you please post a link where you found the powder and the transfer paper? This is an amazing video. I really want to try it.
@@trishann4180 yes I want to know too!!
What is the type of heat press that you have?
Hey you said you would post in the comments how the shirt turned out after washing you still have not done what you said you were going to do that's not good for those of us that watch you
Awe! Thank you so much for the shout out! Your shirt turned out amazing!!!
Thank you for a great tip Delonda! I know I loveeeed how it turned out!
I just love this lady and her tutorials!❤️
Yay!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Can’t wait to try this!! Thanks Crystal!! ❤️
The offset helps it pop. I'm impressed at how vibrant it turned out!
The angle is perfect! I love this hack!
I Love it with the border it stands out more it looks so pretty
I like it with the offset best ... really makes it "pop"!
I always learn something new when I watch your videos. Thank you.
GREAT INFORMATION TODAY!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!
I love design bundles, I love you Crystal, your ideas always give me motivation ❤
Can’t wait to try this. The tee shirt turned out so good. The colors look amazing.
Love Delonda!!!
Loved it! Can wait to find out how it held up with washing! Thank you❤
That looks bomb!!!! Love it ❤
The fact that I did NOT know about that ruler on the cricut cutter thing, being able to change the canvas color AND clicking that box to remove the grid 🤯 wow - great video, trying this out now! I like the outline showing better!
Me neither, 😂
@@NoemiValentin15 lol
That is really cool! The colors are really bright! I definitely want to see this done with an inkjet printer because that is what I have and would use. It would also be great to see it used on the larger sheets of DTF.
Thanks ! Excellent instructional video !
Omg!!!!! Genius to press before pressing the shirt to heat up the bottom to cure the print omg!! I went from standing by my press for 5 minutes to cure to getting it done under a minute 🙏🏽thank you so much!
I love the border, really makes it pop!!! ❤
Yaaaay, there's a work around for white!! Thank you as always ❤!!
I love watching your videos and taking in all the information in I didn't know. Keep doing you great content 👍
I love this idea
8:26 I like it with the white offset border showing a bit! I am going to have to try this for my daughter's preschool teachers as a farewell gift as she is going into kindergarten next year ❤
Loved it! Learning as I go ty for a new lesson I can't wait to try it.
I’m learning to do this. This is the best video I’ve found that was easy enough to understand. Great job, fantastic shirt.
Welcome to the "community"! Crystal does an AMAZING JOB at explaining, as does Delonda (Crafting with Delonda) and Michael aka Mr. Crafty Pants. I cannot get enough of these 3 and the things I have learned from them over the last year or so...
A very informative video. I hadn’t heard about the griddle hack for curing the DTF. Cool. I’m going to try this with my inkjet and the offset hack as well. I saw Delonda do the offset too. Thank you for sharing
It's beautiful 😻
Love things on angle. This is awesome!! Thank for sharing
Thank you for watching with us, Mabel! We're glad you found us! - Dawn
Great tips in this video. I definitely learned many new things.
I'm loving it yesss, Thanks im definitely about to try it.❤❤
I tried DTF over HTV a few months ago. I didn’t care for the area where the DTF edge appeared fuzzy on the HTV. someday soon I will try the DTF over Siser material that is marketed for eco solvent printing. I think it will work much better because it’s made to print on.
Thank you so much for sharing this experiment.
Your welcome thank you for watching
Love that shirt you are wearing
Love this….I so want to try this I may have to watch this again if I go ahead to try this
I like it with the white offset
I like the white boarder
YES---bigger designs/bigger transfers, please!!!
Beautiful
Thanks for this video
Yes please, would appreciate bigger prints and on sawgrass. Thank you x
Griddle what a great idea
Ok, you convinced me to try the DTF hack, lol... I have watched your previous videos about this, but this one is the best. Thanks so much.

I like it with out the off set showing
I use my easy press to cool off my shirt after pressing in my heat press.
I know they make cooling stones but those easy presses are cold when not turned on and work great for cooling off quickly
OMG!! I stumbled upon your youtube video and spent the next 3 hours watching previous ones!! I have had my Cricut for about 2 years and have been very frustrated learning how to use it. Most other "instructional" videos talk in the lingo and I didn't understand them. You are so clear and simple-very straight forward in your explainations and word choices!! I have learned SO VERY MUCH. I am ready to pull her back out, dust the bag and start projecting with a much better knowledge base thanks to your awesome training. THANK YOU!!!
That's amazing! We're glad you found us! If you have any questions, reach out to us at mail@designbundles.net or join us in a live chat through our homepage 🥰 - Dawn
Love the video I never knew that you can actually sublimate on htv white
I need to do this hack thank you again
love this
Thank you
Hey love watching your videos
Love this! I’m thinking of starting a shirt business
With offset. Thanks for this tutorial. I'm waiting on my sawgrass.
Yes I would love to see a larger print.
YOU ARE AMAZING!!! NEW SUB! ❤
Very helpful thank u❤
Your welcome 🤗
I like the offset
I am really new to all this stuff so I enjoy these videos. I just bought some powder and have the paper and inkjet printer but am nervous about trying it. I don't want to spend money on a sublimation printer since it's only for personal use and I don't really use my cricut all that often. Thanks for all the videos.
No need for fear, jump in! I myself will never pay for a sublimation machine. My favorite thus far has been Siser DTV, which you can do on light and dark fabrics of any kind. The ONLY benefit I see with DTF is you can use those pretty sublimation designs with bits and pieces of color everywhere......... so you don't have to weed. That's honestly the only benefit. I do like I can use those designs with the DTF technique.
Yes let’s try this with the inkjet printer also 11 x 17 paper
👍👍👍👍👍great tutorial, Crystal 🔮 I love this design; instead of using on a "teacher" project, I'm thinking on a t-shirt for a student.
PLEASE do project using an INK JET PRINTER😊 Got interrupted while watching premiere but have now finished watching. TY Crystal 🔮 & Design Bundles🎉🎉🎉
I love the offset to me it makes it stand out.
I would love to see the griddle and everything you mentioned at the end.
Also Yolanda adds powder again after the melt. Then melts the powders one more time. Make sure people know that step . Very important for washing purposes
Why is it important for washing?
Crystal... Have you considered trying the Sublimation DTF Hack on GLITTER HTV??? WOULD LOVE TO SEE ONE!
I remember when you did another DTF hack with the inkjet printer the black ink turned out great, but for some reason it lifted the corner of the design a little bit and when I did it at home with a different type of design it did the same thing.. I’m wondering if by heating the bottom platinum it solves that problem? Great tutorials!
I love your teach
I usually see white specs in everyone's print...but yours look perfect!
Oh goodness so many steps but looks fun
This is a game changer!!! Will try DTF now!
Yes please try it with inkjet
I did do this hack , I’ve discovered that using my heat gun to melt the powder works so well. Using after the first powder then again after the second powder. Turns our absolutely perfect 😊
What setting did you use on your heat gun? This might be a stupid question too, but with mention using sublimation printer or inkjet printer I'm confused. Is this printed with sublimation ink or regular inkjet (office) printer??
@@One2ThreeCreationsbyMonica I'd like to know the answer as well, tnks.
I use the low setting working in small sections until all the powder is melting. And t those were done with a sublimation printer. This hack works really nicely for white shirts as well. Any color for that matter.
That’s a good idea. Key is getting powder on (wet)ink after printed asap. Melting and adding powder a second time is genius. Thank you!
Somebody told me that regular flour will also work for the powder, just a way to save money!
I think on the black tshirt the white offset showing is a great idea, maybe on a color not as dark wouldn’t need to have the offset showing. I like this hack a lot. Thanks!
usually people offset an image because of the complexity of cutting the image and weeding. I think. But also, because you can only do the dtf hack on white background. Idk, I am assuming. Maybe someone can comment.
I’ve seen the dtf film laid on top of the easy press upside down to melt the powder on the film.
I love it too I want to know to how it going to look after wash
I have an inkjet so I'm interested in seeing how this would perform on Inkjet. Thanks for your videos very interesting.
Will like to know if the colors held up or faded also love to see on bigger paper, I'm so hooked on your channel 😊 I'm about to buy th epson 2803 but not sure if I want to buy the sublimation ink to convert or just use the ink it come with to just dedicate to using this hack, help! What's best 😅
I would love to see this hack with an ink jet print and the DTF powder! I cannot get a sublimation printer at this time so would love to do it with my ink jet!
Which Sawgrass ink are you using to make your colors pop?? I see they have the easy subli ink now and was curious if this is the ink you are using for these amazing projects?
Gosh, will Monday the 17th ever get here 😊
Love it! Did you do a video after you washed it, I would love to see if the color held up!
I'd love to see this with inkjet on darks as I don't have a sublimation printer. Also different ways to cure the DTF (heat gun griddle etc) would be appreciated. Thank you!
the ink for ink jet is a water based ink, so as soon as it gets washed the first time you will pretty much lose it all
I don't have sublimation anything so I too would love to hear more about these hacks for an inkjet printer
Hi, Crystal, I would like to see you cure the DTF powder using a griddle. I’m just curious; I do have 2 heat presses. A swing away and a clam shell.
Thanks for showing us “guys” how those “guys” work! 😊 👚 👕
i love dtf however haven't seen a projct that washed well. hpefully in future people will find new ways to cure the colors so they last longer with washing. still loved the video and everything about dtf.
I LOVE this !! We'll be trying it out soon! Thanks for the great tutorials. Not sure if anyone has ever asked but, could you tell me where you got your keyboard and mouse pad? I can't wait for your next video! 🙂
Hey there! The mousepad Crystal is using is the Apple Magic Trackpad! - Dawn
Oh wow this is best 😅😅
Thanks for this ma, I am going to check back in a month or two please show us if the colors wash out
Crystal has shared that this didn't wash out and it's been her favorite DTF hack! - Dawn
Yes, I would like to see you use a griddle
Please try it with the ink jet printer. I am saving for a sublimation printer but would love to try out ink jet hacks in the meantime.
Thanks for this video. Is there no need to repress again?
I’d like to see you do another tshirt with the same hack
What print setting should I use on my epson for this film, glossy, matte or?
Did you happen to do this hack with the inkjet printer? How'd it turn out? Loved this video!
Hello! Thank you very much for this hack I will tries as soon you let me know if you were able to do the wash test to see how it went… Thank in advance… looking forward to your answer
I would like to see it on an 11x17...that is what I will be doing my design on
great video, I was wondering if one could layer puff vinyl over the scissor handle, or would it not take... Hmm, I may have to give that a try...lol, either way, awesome video...
I have to try this asap. Thank you for the tutorial. You look great Crystal! How does the shirt wash?
Yay! glad you liked it. and Thank you so much the shirt washed great no issues at all. - CrystalAnn
Hi Crystal, I did not see the usual specks of white powder that I see in most other DTF hacks on your shirt (it almost looks like glitter or maybe unmelted adhesive) I saw it a lot on Delonda's shirt...are they on your shirt? I could not tell from the video...I noticed it on my white tshirt when I tried this DTF hack. I will try again using this hack as you did on a black t shirt
How was it, when you washed it?
Yesssssss, do another video tshirt 👕
Would love to see it on a tie dye.
Definitely try the griddle hack and the inkjet. Very interested in both! Did the colors wash out??
Hey Keshia!! We'll be sharing the results in the comments!! - Dawn
Would love to see this hack with a inkjet printer, since that's the printer I currently have.
Thanks for the video! Is this possible with the sawgrass sg500 with the siser ink as well?
I wonder if without the offset border it would be harder to match the vinyl and the print.
