Our casinos here in San Diego have a few variation of free bet, which all include a push 22 side bet. That pays 7 or 8 to 1 for mixed 22; 20 to 1 for same color and 50-1 for same suit. The other side bets are the buster, fortune, and pot of gold.
I only split the 5’s on the post of gold because of the possibility of getting addition coins and only if playing that side bet

55 correct play is split unless you have a lot of money on main bet and only very small on pot of gold (with dealer showing 10).

@@MrHandPay was playing in the high limit in the flamingo was a crazy week starting with $500 and just run it up. That side bet with bigger bets really hits if you get +5 splits and the free bet really helps. Obviously a bigger house edge on this vs normal bj but can pay of big.
I love free bet when I’m playing 1,3,2,4 or just increasing bets when winning in general. I find I loose my butt on doubles in normal black jack. But on this it’s free doubles so the bad luck doubles don’t break the bank

Love blackjack but really don’t like splitting something you otherwise wouldn’t just because it’s “free” so yeah idk but your friend did great because he was betting so little on main bets and hit some free bets-but when there is real money on the main bet I wouldn’t go against the book -always entertaining though!!🎉

Splitting 5s on free bet is a must for me I usually end up getting 3 free bets (30-1) rather than just the one…always gotta play the side bet I base my play on free bet around the side bet

First time i went to play blackjack live i accidentally went to a freebet table, i was so confused but quickly realized what was different and asked a few questions from the dealer. Ended up losing a bit of money but thats wahtever. I dont like it as much as regular

On the pot of gold for 5 coins we have 100 to 1 but for 6 coins it 300 to 1 and for 7 coins it’s 1000 to 1 in Canada.

They've recently introduced this into Australia, but it works differently here. No number of coins is involved. The free bet token stands for the amount you originally bet. ie...if you bet $100, each token stands for $100.

You can't just walk in and gamble, they actually do a background check on you!! Fortunately the Sydney Star Casino is still operating. We are a strange bunch down here.🤔🤔

Dealer would bust because EVERY time I hit on 15 vs 10 on a regular blackjack AFTER the spacer, I always get the 10! You were like "YESS!!! My curse of getting the 10 after the spacer is working now the dealer gets it instead!!!"

This a terrible game. The normal casino edge on BJ is 2%. The house edge in this game is 17%. We have a local NA casino that pays 1 coin-3x,2 coins-10x,3 coins-30x, 4 coins-60x,5 coins-100x, 6 coins-300x and 7 coins-1000x. This casino will let you split Aces up to 4 x. Other casinos will only let you split Aces 2x. BJ pays 3:2.

Where did you even get a 17% house edge from? It’s 1.04% with 3/2 H17 rule. It can be fun for casual players as if you ignore soft doubles , you only ever risk 1 betting unit instead of placing more money to double & split.

@@MrHandPay that’s only good if you never play again. The odds and the cards are always the same whether you play 1,000 hours all at once, or spread it out over 50 years.
That's why I play the ones with push 22 side bet. Any 22 is 8 to 1, same color 22 is 20 to 2. Suited is 50 to 1. I play the main bet and the push 22 side bet at same time to counter the PUSH.

Your loss rate is the amount you bet times the house advantage. You must stop playing these awful blackjack variants, 6-5 blackjack and continuous shuffle blackjack games. If that’s all the casino offers, then don’t play at all. If nobody plays, then the casino is forced to offer a better game, or make no money. Each and every player must refuse to play horrible blackjack games. We must all do our part to protect each other. The casino won’t last very long by being stubborn.
