My first was a hopped up and over geared traxxas nitro 4 tec. I literally followed that thing down the highway in the passenger seat of my buddies car doing 70mph and had a little room to juice it 👍 so sketch though now when I think back on it lol

You are at a stage where details matter. Polishing the car body can improve aerodynamics and increase a couple of miles/h. I saw the tires are falling apart too... Keep on pushing! ;-)

I only drive crawlers but love this content. Been following a while now. If I may offer a suggestion: it would be rad to get a buddy to fly a drone to capture the run from a higher angle. A lot is lost with the GoPro fisheye. Congrats on the success! Always shocked how the tires come apart.

Congrats on the 198mph. What I don't understand is why I don't see anyone posting speed run videos with leopard motors like the 4092 leopards and lehner motors like the 2250 and 2260 series. I run rc boats and from experience I been finding my leopards to be faster than my tp. I bought a tp 4060 1950kv because they were seeming to be the fastest motors based on what I was seeing from the speed runners. And I could never get that motor to beat the leopards.

Like other's have said, the Quad motor carbon shell seems strange - shaped like a wing - generating lift, not downforce! Whereas, the shell on the Dual Motor obvious is creating a lot of downforce... - it's a basic wedge shape...
Keep pushing, small details will get you to perfection, look for anything that can be shaved off or improved, aero, chassis, or if you wanna go really wild replacing the screws with lower weight ones.
Once you break the record, not sure what it is, or break 200mph, build a bunch more just like, tuned ect, sell em for whatever it cost to build plus $5,000! They would sell like hotcakes 🔥🔥🔥🔥
