Rap is not the only genre where battling exists. The forms of music that hip hop emerge from all have competition. Blues has cutting contests. Reggae has sound clashes and toasting. Calypso has extempo. Even Rock has battle of the bands etc. Hip hop comes from a lineage of Black music and culture where creative competition is deeply a part. “The culture” does not stop at the boundaries of hip hop.. who ‘created’ hip hop (kids from the South Bronx who were mostly either first of second generation Caribbean kids [Reggae/Calypso] - Kool Herc (Jamaica) - Grandmaster Flash (Barbados) - Crazy Legs (Puerto Rico) etc OR from the southern USA [Blues]) come from the places that those other music and cultural expressions came from.. hip hop is not an isolated culture and not the only culture that has battling bc it comes from forms of expression that all have competition as an important part of them. All love.. just clarification.. (also from Toronto fyi)

I feel like at this point you’re the only one qualified to explain how I saw this “Fall Off” coming a mile a way when Cole dissed Noname after she mentioned him and Kendrick on twitter (years ago). But speaks to how Cole has a history of contradicting his own discography. Man literally starts Snow on The Bluff; negating his degree and intelligence as if didn’t go hard about being a “College Boy” or almost Summa Cum Laude in Villumanti and has multiple iterations of the like where he does the same. When he checked her tone, hiding under the facade of she’s a Queen who’s more intelligent than him and had the “privilege” of an awareness in her parents, books and learning about African American culture when he himself was THE PRESIDENT of pan African - American Student Coalition and currently a rich rapper who has a multitude of avenues to learn at his disposal that’s when it solidified what I’ve been know this man’s a fraud when it comes to his pen. But maybe it’s a task to ask since it speaks on blackness, so my bad 😂. But as a fellow hiphophead, I think a dissection of why having a steady pen of integrity/believability is important. Or maybe I just like breaking down bars too much and get hyper fixated. 🤷🏽♀️ Lol Regardless you’re remarkable. I prefer the longer videos but eat off these short jawns too. Lol

Heyo, just want to say I came across your channel a few days ago and I’ve been enjoying your videos. Keep it up, I’m rooting for you.
Some people call the Beatles the best rock band, but they don’t talk shit about The Beach Boys.
These other rappers ain’t ready for jcole.
Cole doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks. Some people grow up and change. stop telling a grown ass man what he should and shouldn't do. The only reason you reactors and YT music channels are so mad is because you get more views for reacting to diss tracks. It's hurting your pocket. Cole is still amazing without battle rapping. Cole isn't losing any sleep over anything any of you said. One more thing is that it shows how afraid these rappers were of Cole. They didn't say anything about him until he apologized. Cole looks at Kendrick as a friend. But the rest are open season.
WTD! Fw the consistency 🔥🔥
Good stuff man keep it up love from Italy
Bro dropped the Cole outro for Nip 🔥🔥🔥
wait til u see jcoles on futures new album 😂
Nah we good on Jermaine for awhile
Battling in rap originates from Jamaican music called dancehall where it's called clashing.....
Just an FYI, he said “you let the squad down” because when Cole grabbed the Mic to apologize, he said “I can see my man over there yelling ‘Don’t say it!’ But nah I gotta”
He literally let his squad down. They didn’t want him to apologize.
I just seen the diss. Bro symba VS jcole is like jcole is em and symba is mgk. Like no chance
J cole is in a position where he will lose every battle at the moment
@@tadi. U think bc he apolgized to his friend he lost ion think so
@@tadi.unfortunately, that’s true. And it sucks because if Cole responds back at symba, everyone is going to say that he ran away from Kendrick cause he’s scared so he’d rather diss someone who isn’t much of a threat and isn’t on J. Cole’s level.
@@tadi. lmfao cap
@@tadi. Nah cole won't lose. Niggas need to remember cole is lyrically goated that's why he is in the top 3 conversation. But he made it clear his a pacifist. He doesn't want to beef.
Home boy even changed the outro usic you know hes hurting bad now hes really torn up bout that apology...but so are we
We are waiting for that new breakdown dude hopefully it comes this week
Symba vs J.I.D. Would be clean though
He F up bad . A boss moving that reckless. Now how is Cas , JID etc gonna see him ...
Everyone going to be on J Folds neck now his team will have to play defense for his decisions 🤦🏾♂️
Damn he said you let naz down and coz and the squad and jid down got damnn
New Outro is 🔥, classic song. RIP Nipsey!!
Can't be mad about Cole's apology.....Go back and listen to Middle Child and you see why he did that. He has lots of time left if he wants it
I said years ago, Kendric, JCole, Drake in order.
Drake isn't hip hop. Doesn't even write his own shit.
Drake, Kendrik, cole
Cole and Kendrick
@user-pm2gr4qh5n exactly 💯 that's why he's last if anything.
@moreinarincones-givihan Control hands down. Cole is a Cur.
Bro you have to bring the J Cole outro back
No
I love when you break down shii tbh but I’m a loyal fan so do whatever you like bro ❤
My guy I recently discovered your channel and I very much enjoy your passion and how thorough you are and I am currently enjoying your back catalogue like a Netflix binge but I have one question HOW are your numbers so small you have so much buzz about you and all your subs are all smart educated and passionate hip hop fans. Hold tight you are definitely gonna get crazy numbers soon. I feel it you definitely deserve it. If you taken time to read this as a sub or casual post a comment get the algorithm working
Haha thanks my guy! I only started the channel less than two years ago! Little videos like this one; I don’t really expect to do that well because it’s just me speaking my opinion with no story telling or anything. I’m still a fairly new CZcamsr compared to a lot of the guys that have been doing this for ages. The growth has been good though 😃
I like how you changed the outro LMFAOO
Someone is looking for clout. Its smart on his part. I get it, the hip hop community thinks cole messed up...but REGARDLESS what anyone thinks...cole is STILL nice and can still wash some of yalls favorite bar for bar.
Ironic how Cole backs down and loses his spot and later he's about to drop The FALL Off😂😂
Great content🔥
Another unknown rapper using Cole name for clout lol
WHOOOOOOO? THE DISNEY CHARACTER DISSED J COLE. FOH. WHO TF IS THAT. LAME
A dope rap that has more dog than J Fold.
appreciate ur work fam. just a slight correction tho - jamaican dancehall was built on battling/clashing since before we were born
Great video bro 😎❤️💯🔥
Blud J Cole featured with the guys that dissed him, its truly a tough time for Cole fans 😖😖
Who dissed J. Cole besides this lil nigga who had a moment in hip hop and will stay irrelevant 😊
FUTURE DIDNT DISS HIM!! METRO DIDNT DISS HIM!! KENDRICK DIDNT DISS HIM!! AND COLE'S VERSE HAD TO HAVE BEEN RECOEDED MONTHS AGO!!!!!
🤡🤡🤡🤡
I always think it's so corny when rappers rap over others diss instrumentals. Hated it when Remy Ma did it on Shether and I hate it here.
Agreed. I don’t like it either.
Why don’t you like it? Cause he isn’t being original?
this one sounds corny because he's just quoting a bunch from the verse and basically repeating the most basic take he's seen in ig comments or something
@@The-Legend-of-P Yes. It’s just not my preference. I don’t dislike what he had to say or what remy ma had to say. I just prefer original beat.
Ha...causals
As a Cole fan. I feel the same grief. I'll add disgusted to the emotion list.
Bro who tf is Symba? And the irony is that "Simba" is another aliases for Cole which is "Young Simba" if this nobody Symba don't go nowhere 😂😂
Gotta do ya homework
@@apeshitclothingreal
He's not relevant enough to speak on J Cole GOAT status. Everyone takes any opportunity to try to gain attention.
A clout chasin move tbh I mean he got us talking about him
@@plugformixtapesI stopped his freestyle 10 seconds in. If he wasn't dissing Cole we wouldn't be discussing him.
are you relevant enough to speak on Symba's relevance?
@@bigol9223Are you relevant enough to question me about my relevance?
FOH...in your feelings cause your man Cole stay taking L's.
Bro Dancehall has been doing this for years.. this battle sh*t
I feel like I’m riding a bit since I video hopped; but it’s admirable seeing you get your credit for your hardworking. Legitimate shoutout to you for getting your flowers 🎉.
🤷🏽♀️ Lol
Regardless you’re remarkable. I prefer the longer videos but eat off these short jawns too. Lol
Symba a bum who is him? Glazing on Kendrick.
And people wonder why Andre 3000 left this toxic ish! People act like today’s “beef” isn’t TOTALLY different than 1990’s, early 2000’s beef. Social media has CHANGED the game! Couldn’t imagine a whole elephant sitting on my chest for doing what was right for me. We have so many rappers who won the beef-rap-battle and lost their lives. Wake up, people…soooo not this serious! And I’m a consummate of Rap!
yap
oh damn you changed the outro, understandable 🤣🤣
Geez man, am learning more about hip hop just hearing talk. Keep it up.
🥱 ish was mid, nice try tho
Dang i bet a lot of little rappers gonna use this and try to make a come up. Its inspiring me to diss everyone just to see if i get a reply and ill take the L and be like damn its an honer to get dissed by Kendrick and Cole. Ill be like damn i agree with them 😂😂😂
The Problem Is That some Rappers Cant Keep The Smoke On Wax/On a song.. It Always Bleed Into The streets With Some Rappers, So I Get It.. Cole is a Cool Guy and Dont Want
to make issues with people, He is Hip hop so he love to work with out of them and friends.. So I Get it.. Won't change how I Look at Cole, He's Still a Beast and will Continue to be one!!!
Can you please do the Cozz response?
I'm a J.Cole fan who's just as disappointed and hurt by what Cole did earlier this week.
But lil Symba is nothing compared to Grown Simba.
This particular move is corny as hell.
Symba did what alot of mfs are thinking so good looking out.
Buddy took out Cole’s outro 🤣😂
This is a great opportunity for Symba... I been waiting for someone to quickly jump in
I’m just gonna tell myself that you changed your outro song because you already blowing up and NOT because Jermaine pissed us all off by apologizing! 😂😩
Happy to see you’re getting your shine What’s the Dirt! 🫶🏾
Bro keep doing this shit man
Bro snuck in a picture with Reason when he said "Dreamville guys"
We are all disappointed with Cole 😢
Styles p said it best when it comes to j cole when he said he was messing with his frequency i felt that couldnt have said it better.
i have to ask, are you from newfoundland? very strong accent!😂
Any recommendations on Symba songs I should listen to?
i know that you are mad with Jermaine but the outro was too much man he's still an icon
that guy simba is desperate for clicks, first say that he can beat Eminem and now he saw that j cole declared that he is not of this diss phase he found opportunities damn
Plot twist - jcole and Kendrick show the world what forgiveness looks like and then drops the hottest collaboration of the century.. win win
Can you make a video on the evolution of Maybach Music? the members etc
When I heard that I was eyes wide like okaaaaay Symba let’s gooo😮💨😮💨😮💨cause we all felt the same…and though I’m sad about Cole and I mean hurt smh this energy Symba gave is the emcee energy we need!!!
I heard somebody addressed J cole too on the Let Nas down beat
And Cozz sure did respond! You on your shit bruh
Being angry at Cole is wild lol
I think this is the fuel Cole needs. Now he doesn't have to feel some kind of way about talking greasy because there's no relationship between Cole and Symba
Everybody trying to profit off of this WWE Rap battle, while Tom MacDonald dropped the realest song of the year.
That apology saved J Coles life. We are witnessing the murder of drake live , and kendrick isnt making it quick hes torturing him.
If J. Cole stays quiet on Symba and lets someone else from Dreamville respond on his behalf… 🤦🏾♂️
Symba freestyles always fire
Wooow
Your Consistency is lit
