Cover "Iron Hand" by Mark Knopfler

All I do is type these stories all the time, mainly to myself; sometimes, I repeat them. Because in real life I'm more introverted, and all I do is think. I find it had to say what I think, for much of my life I was struck down for speaking. So, I read a lot as a kid. I'd sit surrounded by encyclopedias, books on mythology, and books on King Arthur and Camelot; knights on horse back rescuing the down trodden. And I learned a lot as a kid, and I learned a lot as a teen on streets and as a young man. And I've said this before that we learn too late of the lessons left out from what we read, only to learn them later. Only too late do we discover that as we mete out pain on others we only have hurt ourselves as pieces of ourselves fade within. The boy who has once set out to become a White Knight realizes too late he has became the very Black Knight he once set out to destroy. As Mark Knopfler once noted, "we have not changed since ancient times." If you have found your way to the channel, thank you. I'm not a musician; I say this, even to myself all the time. I am just a guy with a head full of memories set to a soundtrack in his mind.

We loved this cover. Mark Knopfler is one of our favorite artists. Last night we watched King Arthur in Camelot. The dragons were destroyed and as we get older I think more and more of the dragons in our own lives become less of a threat. Love to you our friend, Shelley and Max

Hahaha...David, You know what? When I read your words "I am not a musician", it made me smile. It's not because I agree with you about that sentence. It's because I said the same to myself and others... hahaha. It doesn't mean I am not positive. It's just I have been so honest to my feelings.
However, I agree with what Laurie wrote under this video. I could not write better than her so to convey the same message to you.
After all, I don't care if you are a musician or whatever you claimed yourself to be or not to be, you are my friend, David! That's the thing that I can confirm.

Yup. We hurt ourselves in the name of some noble cause that nobody else shares.
Hence the term "to stick-out one's neck" but the only thing that happens is we get ourselves beheaded and the crowd watches and cheers rather than understand why someone sacrificed themselves and take action.
People don't want to be saved. They would rather watch it all burn.
