    Morning
What substrate do you use ? Is it ADA ? Gold,ver2?How much is your ph ? I have noticed also in some tanks you have substantially more substrate than in others . Is there a reason ? What is your “sweet” spot for TDS reading? In tangerine tiger tank I see you have dragon rock . Is this purposefully to up your ph or other parameters? You also use wood in some of your tanks specific reason ? Thank you for taking the time to answer me 😅

I use various soils, ada gold mainly but also mastersoil, Aquael Help Shrimp Soil, Aquasolum to name a few. If I'm only using sponge type filtration I'll use a thicker layer of soil, if I'm using a ugf box, a thinner layer as the ugf does the buffering. My snail tanks and neocaridina tanks I use inert substrates like sand or gravel.

@@gbeeshrimp We only get Aquasolum Humis from the substrate you mentioned. I want my PH to below 6 . Do you get it with Aquasolum? We do get ADA but version 2 only . Experience with that ?
When cycling a tank do you adjust your period or noticed quicker cycle periods with the different soil you used? I see the only gryp people seem to have with ADA Amazonia version 1 or light is the long and big ammonia presence .
Thank you for making time to reply .
