David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

We can speak it also. We can repeat it. We can share it. Ministers need to stop thinking they have to have a "new" sermon every Sunday. The Apostle Paul preached Christ and Him crucified. It's funny how the author said he woke up one morning and had no desire for alcohol. That's the same thing that happened to me. Really miraculous I was highly addicted for over 3 years. I thought it was impossible to get Deliverance. But God took away the desire I really can't explain how. It was nothing that I did since I tried many times before. Praise God! I did have anxiety in the coming weeks but every time I had anxiety I would read my Bible and peace will come upon me. Honestly found this to be the only solution for anxiety.

Same thing happend to me, my sister and I went to eat and got a couple of cocktails, when I went to puck up mine it was so heavy I couldn't get it off the table, it went on for almost the entire meal, until I picked it up and when I put that thing in my mouth the taste was horrible 🤢, it's almost 7 years since, and no I can't drink that people think I'm nuts, but they don't understand it is The Holy Spirit in Us that takes over.

Tbh, I listen to alot of different preacher's sermons online. They've all been great! Some moreso than others.
Yet, David always stands out. He speaks with such reverey, truth, and a passion for Christ and for us that I can't help but notice it!
Trully, he was one of the last of, "The Great Ones", to go.
In this Age, we're blessed beyond our own portion to still have the likeness and spirit of his message at hand.

He mentioned Disney. After receiving the Holy Spirit, I asked the Lord to show me modern day idols. One was the Statue of Liberty and what was written in it, the other was Disney. That was over 45 years ago. Now look at these two in light of what is happening. We were a treatment foster care home. I found their behaviors improved if I did not allow their music ( even some the country music ) or the movies. We got rid of cable ,and what we watched we rented and watched together. We had devotionals every morning. I read Mission testimonies, and books like Pilgrim’s Progress. We read about the persecution of the church. If we read that they had to sleep on hard cold floors, we slept on the floor with one thin blanket. We held Devos outside, buried a Bible; whatever they did we would do in a lesser but important way. They learned others are mistreated for doing good. They learned they were not alone in being hurt. They learned the importance of forgiveness. We listened to music which was clean and did not arouse bad emotions or thoughts. We sang gospel songs, had family parties and celebrated Passover and other Godly holidays with God honoring focus. We adopted 8. Not all serve the Lord; 3 do, 3 don’t and the other two are special needs as sweet as they can be. God is good. Now I tell my grandchildren about testimonies, buy them Christian biographies and testimonies on video. They live testimonies.

I have returned to my drug addiction more times than I can count and I can confirm that the absolute despair that increases every time is unbearable. I’m doing everything I can to undo what I’ve done but the Lord is showing me only He can heal me and my mind. My heart is restless and cold. I’ve been fasting and praying but feel nothing but shame therefore I feel I’m missing something. I’ve abandoned my God for heroin and I’ve hidden from Him far too long. I need renewal and intimacy with my God again. If anyone sees this comment please lift me up in prayer and fight for me. I have nothing left in me.

Believe in your idea of Jesus till the end of time, it does little good. You need to accept his ambassador and representative. So when the Holy Spirit shows himself and is rejected that is the unpardonable sin. To grieve the Spirit of God is to reject life.
The supreme witness of Jesus Christ (King David) is reporting for duty.
He was a man whose tongue held no lies,
For he was the direct descendant of our father in the heavenly skies.
Born to a body of fleshy sin,
Though what laid beneath was unlike the rest of his kin.
Jesus had the utmost grace,
Never being wavered by evils face.
He was wise beyond any years,

A beacon of light on top of a starless mountain,
Where words of wisdom poured out of him as if there ran a cosmic fountain.

Satan's tongue is coated in a layer of deceit,

He's a being who is bound by deceptions,

On occasion he will give you his hand,
But don't be fooled by his stand.
He seeks to corrupt your heart,
You would be wise to avoid him from the start.
Seeking quick pleasures and casting aside love,

Now Lucifer was once not lost,

Disobeying God he waged war,
Becoming detestable to the core.
Today he is the ruler of Earth,
Though for all his power he has no real worth.
However most of us have still been sold,
Giving into sin and becoming cold.
Nearly everyone is a puppet dancing on strings,
Marching to delusion for their unjust kings.
My people have given into lust,
Becoming robots full of rust.
However you my child are the exception,
So when you meet me don't forget to mention.
That you alone have been granted the key,
And before your glory they shall all bend a knee.
P.S.- Not too long ago I was very bitter and destructive. Literally I was covered in blood from head to toe and ripping off nails and things of that nature. In my mind Jesus was against me, he had a vendetta against me which I couldn't account for. Then slowly but surely I started having these revelations, and began delving into the word of God. It seemed like my agony was not in vain. The things which held me back eventually began to propel me forward. The darkness began fading away and an unspeakably bright light was surfacing. Jesus told me that he had to break me in order for me to rediscover who I really was. Sort of like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Today I am almost fully healed in every conceivable way, and things like being a virgin and being covered in scars I strangely enough take much pride in. I took up my cross and followed Christ and in doing so I discovered the greatest love of all.
