I think it's because of the tone in which the words are pronounced. Korean is usually pronounced with a higher tone, that's why they sound adorable like a child.

I was there during the con. We really screamed, chanted, and sang our hearts out during the con that when i checked my fancams vids after the con, i can only hear my voice. As much as i am apologetic for not restraining our voices, please remember that that was her 1st con in the Philippines. As a Maena since Dream High, seeing IU in person singing my fave songs of hers, and talking non-stopping and actively interacts with the fans has been a dream come true. I've been waiting for so long i really bursted into tears after the con knowing she really enjoyed the concert, as much as we did; that we really gave her the best chants a fan could give; that we made her feel that she is loved, and will always be welcomed to return to perform for us; and that we made her happy. So please let us off the hook just this once 'coz we were so overwhelmed with joy that night. 😅😭🙏

we screamed, bc we were so excited to see IU for the first time. this concert was not just about screaming. Uaena Philippines sang along with IU in 90% of her songs. IU means "you and i" become 1 in music. I dont think she's been annoyed. in fact, she's been smiling the whole time during her concert. .
She is so cute I have been a fan for her for 4 years and I still can't get over her.
