    To get a better crust let the pizza dough chill for like a day or two, it really really helps

    I work here our pizza sauce comes in a bag, we mix it with water. When you do the crust you want to push down in a circle around then stretch the Middle and we put garlic butter on the crust after its done.

      Lmao me when I spread misinformation, the pizza sauce comes in a massive tub and there's no oil in sight anywhere, u stretch the dough, ladle on the sauce, put on 100% mozzarella, toppings, in the big industrial oven for 7 minutes, then boom, cut and box

    I work at dominos and you want a pencil thin crust, on our medium 12” pizza it uses 5oz of cheese and we as far as the store I work at we don’t use provolone on cheese pizzas only specialty pizzas, pans, and if it’s requested. We also metal screens instead of a pizza pan or slab and when we use it on the pan pizzas we put butter on the bottom and use special dough with butterballs in it that help it not stick

      We don’t really have a recipe it’s premade from a dominos facility and sent to us 3 days a week and kept cold until it’s needed for use, same thing with the dough and other sauces we use

      @@rashmibhardwaj1328 the hottest your oven can go, pre heat your pizza stone/steel for an hour before you put it in, and slide the pizza on the hot hot hot stone. use a relatively thing layer of low moisture mozzarella. this isnt form dominos but this is how you make a good pizza

      Once Domino's changed the recipe back in 2010/2011 they started using a blend with the pizza cheese. It became 70% mozzarella and 30% provolone. The pizza cheese blend already came prepackaged

    Hi I tried out the pizza dough recipe it was an amazing recipe. The crust was absolutely fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside.
    I would also suggest you to mention the grams of yeast used because not everyone haa the sachet of yeast .After continuous sessions of pausing and replaying the video I could see that the sachet mentioned 7 grams . So please do consider putting that in the description box.Thank you for the recipe

    7:47 you should never use the rolling pin while making pizza . press your hands & stretch on all sides , you'll get a puffier crust. Love the rest 👌🏻

    You almost got the crust right, so what you do is... put garlic butter in a 12-14 inch pan and spread that evenly then you put the dough in and spread it to cover all ends of the pan then after you cook it you get that garlic butter again and light go around the crust then boom you got that amazing dominos crust 😍

    I think if your pizza pan was preheated and then you put in the dough you would have crispier crust.

    Thanks for the video, it got me into making my first homemade pizza, my first attempt wasn't great, I tried it with different ingredients with just what I had in the house. I've gotten better on my next attempts and enjoy them more than a store-bought frozen pizza. I might still treat myself to a takeaway domino's now and again as there is something special about them.

    Yeah domino's hands down has the best take away pizza. And it is all due to the dough. They have the recipe down to a science. I also personaly love corn meal on the bottom. I almost always make my own pizzas and I am able to get the desired effect by putting an oiled piece of parchment on my pan sprinkled with the corn meal.

    This is so wrong, i love the idea but heres some key things that would massively improve this pizza
    Letting the sauce cool to fridge temperature before using it, this thickens it and improves the base of the pizza
    Not over kneading the dough - especially after the second rise it should not be kneaded as the air that has built up for hours has just become useless.
    Hand stretching to leave a more air filled crust, rolling pins kill pizzas and make the crust dense like a frozen pizza from the store
    Apart from that, great vid

    If you've got time you're better off letting the yeast ferment slowly in the fridge for 2 to 3 days. That's what Dominos do.

      Genesis Carrillo I used the one available in my supermarket : dry one. And the amount? Don’t remember now, but what I did was googling how much was the amount mentioned by our host in grams. Get it?

    Only thing I saw that you might not want to do is roll out your dough you should do it all by hand to keep the air pockets in it so it can be light and airy.

    Been with Domino's over 9 years and this is an awesome video. Domino's is very strict on the pizzas bake, presentation, and quality that's why we have 5 different ways of grading our pizzas by our corporate coaches that do random routine OERs (Operation Evaluations Report) on our products. The garlic herb crust doesn't get applied on until after the pizza is cooked. But like you said Domino's has a specific taste that I've notice all my life. Almost trademark (TM) taste

    Domino's is my household's favourite b'day meal. It is usually a chicken and Camembert without the bacon, but with added pineapple and olives, a vegorama, and a double beef and onion with added pineapple and olives. Because this house loves pineapple on pizza. And olives.
    Now at home pizza tends to be Coles supermarket pumpkin pizza for Mum, while I favour getting an uncooked dough ball, Leggo's pizza tomato paste, a mozzarella pear, and Danish salami. It ends up an uneven oval, but tastes good anyway.

    Basically to get close to domino's, take. A basic bread recipe, use cornmeal to toss the dough in. That's it. Have the oven as hot as possible (sure the oven was like 400c plus) Don't brush your crust!

    The cheese is off because mozzarella and provolone aren't all they use. The box also mentions Parmesan, asiago, and another one I forget offhand.
    I've also heard that the cheese blend they use is a 33-33-33 blend of mozzarella, white cheddar, and Monterey jack, but I don't know how true that is.

    I don't know if it would help but usually the cheese is purchased pre-shredded and mixed and has a trace or oregano in it. Also, a little parmesan sprinkled on the sauce before the cheese. Don't know if it would make it more like Domino's but it would be yummy.

    Seems far easier to break into a Domino's in the middle of the night, steal some frozen dough, a five -gallon jug of sauce (or whatever they pack it in), a huge bag of cheese, and just make it at home. Remember to wear all black - including your balaclava, so it's full stealth mode.

    Did you use pre packaged grated cheese ? if so thats one difference pre packaged stuff has anti caking agent and another additive to prevent sweating that extends shelf life. cellulose and potato starch are the additives i believe. You need low moisture block mozzarella. The other big difference will be oven temp domestic ovens dont go as hot as commercial ones 230-240 C vs up to 350 C

    By the way peeps, there is a difference between ACTIVE AND INSTANT YEAST. Instant means you add it in with the flour, and you don't have to add it to water immediately and wait for it to foam. Active yeast means you have to wait for it to activate, which can take anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Also, you're not supposed to cook the sauce before you put it on the pizza...originally...It will end up tasting more like lasagna than pizza..

    I grew up eating real pizza so it's hard for me to like chain store pizza. Giovanni's pizza in Lorain, Ohio is a mom and pop place that has been making pizza for some 80 years and their pizza is pretty unique. I have had pizza all over the states and in several different countries and it's by FAR the best pizza anywhere.

    I made this LOW CARB using low carb flour, and low sugar tomatoes, sweetener (and honey for the yeast, no carbs) and it is the BOMB. Think I might go into business.

    Me trying to figure out why we can just use tomato puree but gotta turn canned tomatoes to puree and mix it with puree. Confusion 100.

      Tomato puree isn't just blended tomatoes. The puree is made from cooking and draining the tomatoes before blending. Which leads to a paste with an enhanced tomato flavour.

    The real Dominoes recipe calls for a cold rise but since they don't have enough freezer space at most of the stores, they used to let them warm rise. IDK what they do these days.

    Everything is fine. You used the wrong pizza screen which is very crucial during cooking. The pizza screens that dominoes uses are the ones that are non sticking and have holes in the bottom.
