How To Convert Your VW T5 Transporter In To A Swamper (on a budget)
Before the T5 went back on the road it's time to look at the suspension and we wanted to lift it!
This video shows how we achievied the Swamper look on a budget.

Have been using the PCD 25mm lift and Hankook 225/70 16” ATs on our T6 4motion SWB for 18 mths now. As we drive Outback Australian dirt roads and tracks regularly, this is a real world test. Couldn’t be happier! Comfort, offroad clearance and economy are all excellent. No further changed needed. Often show up at an off road destination to the surprise of serious high clearance 4wd drivers.

Definitely prefer lifted suspension,

The VV T5 has aluminum rims from BMV-A, the range of holes is 5x120.. And on the VV Touareg, the rims are of the range of holes 5x130.
So that's just so you know when and if you change to take what suits you. Greeting.👍

Here's the kit I fitted. I've got 255 tires on it and they rub abit on the so I'm changing to a smaller set.

I would be fair more concerned on the load rating of the wheels and tyres. You need to look at the axle weigh plate under the bonnet and divide the value by 2. Fitting wheels and tyres that are not rated for your axle weights is dangerous

Aways something you should be aware. These wheels and tires have a higher rating than the standard T5 wheels and tires so it's all good.
