Poor Torbin. "An older predator abusing their power to seduce an unwilling young victim while everyone else around them pretends not to notice... Write what you know, hey Leslye?"
Yeah, that HORRID, “MAA-MAA!” crap caused me lasting physical harm. My CNS made me turn off the sound. 🤬🤬🤬⚔️🛡🥃
If the Jedi are bad wouldn't Indara have killed Mae as soon as she realized who she was in episode 1? Mae is the ultimate loose end. A bar full of witnesses to say she was just defending herself and innocent bystanders. Mae announced she was there to kill her. Mae assaulted multiple people. Mae took a hostage. Mae used the force openly. Instead Indara after showing all her power in this episode dies at Mae's hand defending the bartender. Seems like she was a good guy to me that was given a pathetic death. A death to project that the Jedi are bad just like this episode tried. Failed they did.
A woman killed the witches coven, how ironic.
Lol !
Here's a question for you. When we first saw the collection of dead witches they were strewn around on the floor in the middle of the room. But they actually died while sitting together on what looked like bleachers where they just slightly fell over. So my question is, who moved all the bodies to the middle of the floor?
So let me understand this. Torbin gets mind graped by a witch. Then, years later, he's confronted by Mae, who seeks revenge on Torbin for his heinous crime of.... being the victim of a mind grape. Who then promptly deletes himself using Mae's poison out of guilt for.... being the victim of a witch's mind grape.
Because, other than being a whiny, homesick padawan and the victim of mental abuse, Torbin did literally NOTHING wrong this entire show other than defend himself from arrow attacks and a mind controlled Wookie.
Just what exactly is Headland trying to say with Torbin's arc here? I sense a subtext in the Force.
They are really doing dirty the actor playing Sol dirty. The only backstory he can have is that Sol tragically lost his children years earlier...maybe Not Ezra Qmir is his son...
Bro it’s actually crazy how bad the writing, dialogue, production whatever you wanna call it, is. And ppl still defend it
Nope, Sol was in the right. He was saving Mae in his eyes because, as you said, we have no idea what she was doing to Mae. It looks like she's destroying, absorbing, or something else ominous to her. So, he's not in the wrong for what he did.
@Green-HairedAnti-Liberal But he still ganked her, which is what Headland wants us to see and blame him for. I don't necessarily disagree with you, but his entire arc in this episode is presented as a man out of control who isn't following any sort of orders.
@@RenaissanceNerd okay, well, yes, that's true. I guess I was taking it as your opinion rather than what Lesbian Headlamp is wanting us to think. Got it!
@Green-HairedAnti-Liberal I think I did fail in making clear I'm talking from the perspective of how the show wants us to view it, not the fact that in fact the Jedi didn't do anything wrong as they did act in defense.
@@RenaissanceNerd yeah, you mentioned it a few times, I think, that she wants us to think that. I just didn't pick up on that what you were saying throughout wasn't what you agreed with. I should know better, of course.
@Green-HairedAnti-Liberal I forgive you. We can still be friends.
why does the wookie have clothes and a gay top knot?? just weird
More to the point a cheap ass metal detector. I'm guessing he was looking for the plot lol
Well folks, Mama's wrong again 😂
Oh...a young woman. Makes sense now.
I CALLED IT!!! I saw this coming from space. I knew they were going to do this. I knew they were going to make the Jedi evil.
2 stories in one, meanwhile smylo Ren is sidelined till episode finale
I had to literally rewind it 12 times with subtitles on. Who the F edited this ?
Where was Yord during all this? 😂
Vergance didn't do much for Tattoine did it?
DESCENT-ION. 🥸⚔️🛡🥃
You cant really blame the witches. Blame disney.
I watched the first two episodes and decided to not continue watching it. It’s funny how everyone who seems to hate it keeps watching it hoping it gets better. Disney is happy they are getting hater and fan viewership ratings. 😂
@Thinkinghurts Where is any of my Disney Star Wars coverage, or anyone elses', is there a hope of us thinking it will get better? And stop peddling the "hate watching helps it" crap, because after all the Disney disasters it has been proven false. Just look at the ratings of this show alone. This show can't even break into normal Nielson's Top 10 on streaming.
Try doing some research instead of talking out of your ass and pretending people are saying things they are not.
@@RenaissanceNerd let's get this straight. My comment was about my experience and a funny observation on people "hate-watching" shows.
“Star Wars: The Acolyte" managed to make it into the Top 10 Originals chart but not the overall Top 10 like you hoped. This means those who dislike the show are still watching it, boosting its viewership.
So, whether people love, hate it, or keep hoping it will get better, they’re still tuning in, and that counts towards the ratings. It’s hilarious how even you can't stop watching it and making content. Before you come at me with accusations, maybe double-check your facts. My observation was spot on-viewers are viewers, even if they're hopeful hate-watchers.
Where's Marvin ?
The Jedi were bad in the prequels too
The Jedi morals were compromised via war. They were never inherently bad, but coulded by the fog of a war masterfully orchestrated by a Sith Lord and their dogmatic nature.
My cringe meter went to the max when strong black woman said the, IM A GOOD MOM schtick right before she died.
