Why is the Orc wife and mother, presumably female, not portrayed to be strong, independent, brave and vocal like all other woman in this story are, as 'The Message' dictates. The Orc wife should be a physically big and strong 'bad b*tch' not to be messed with, but no she is short, diminutive and dependent on her husband for protection because the script needs her to be. Queen Regent Miriel has no ladies in waiting or security on her chambers? Enabling Lord Pharazon to surprise Miriel as he picks out her outfits/clothing to wear. Pathetic, the integrity of every scene collapses upon the slightest examination.

Fast travel is a thing for all the characters except the fake hobbits and proto-gandalf apparently. I assume they'll also spend all of the second season wandering aimlessly and getting nowhere.
