This video represents my disability. I've also have autism, but this I also have to so sit back and watch the entertainment and the education of this video
My new hyperfixation will be learning all the lyrics of this masterpiece by heart so I can sing it in my head for hours on end until I very suddenly start to hate it for having it stuck in my head.
Right to explain over and over and over to like a friend who doesn’t have ADHD if I knew this song then I would’ve just showed them or sent it to them. Their problem solved. That is the explanation of ADHD.
For those who need them : the lyrics! - cough - A deficit of the attention and hyperactivity is in the name. But you can be one or the other cause it doesn't have to be one in the same! Hyperfixation and procrastination and new ideas every day! Depression or issues with our motivation and not hearing what you will say! We will be motivated if what we are doing is: important, engaging, or fun. Organisation, prioritisation will typically struggle a ton! We pace and we fidget with every diget and have a hard time sitting still. We hit the canteen for a cup of caffeine cause its kinda like taking a pill~ There's uppers and downers and over the counters and anti-depressants galore. But everyone thinks that we lie to the shrinks so that we could just get us some more! There's the train of our thoughts on its own getting lost and now we are forgetting to eat. Our brains never stop with the cyclical thoughts but we struggle with cycles for sleep! We're sensitive to all rejection but we can forget that person exists! The same thing can happen with every day items, they call it object permanence. We're loud and we finish your sentences and we will argue with you for the fun. You call us annoying but you are just boring and so is your conversation! There's destructive behaviour and imposter syndrome and some of us struggle to read. Brain fog is common but we're problem solvin' and dealing with all the mood swings! We're prone to addictions and it is a fiction to think we don't pace on the phone. If we body double we'll stay out of trouble cause we suck at working alone! We're prone to anxiety, thrive on variety, adventurous in the bed. Our memory sucks so it would be our luck that we keep random facts in our heads! SO, if you feel like lots of the stuff in this song are the things that you feel every day! Then here is my honest suggestion for you: FIND A PROFESSIONAL THEY'LL BE DISCRETIONAL! A DEFICIT OF ATTENTION AND HYPERACTIVITY IS IN THE NAME!!! ..Damn dude, I already thought you were cool but writing that- you are downright impressive! Sorry I'm late, and sorry to all those who struggle with reading lmao :,) Tell me if I missed something ! Ty for the vid/song :D!

“There’s the train of our thoughts on its own, getting lost and now we are forgetting to eat” - “we can forget that a person exists, the same thing can happen with everyday items they call it object permanence” - “brain fog is coming, but we’re problem solving” Great song!😂
I've already forgotten some of what was in this song, but the few things I do remember have definitely checked all the boxes. My ADHD doesn't help at all in a fast paced environment while working in a fast food restaurant. I like it better when it's slow because if I'm expediting and there's more than 3 or 4 orders on the drive-thru screen, I get majorly lost and someone else always has to step in, especially if there's orders for the dining room too.
You see, for me, I prefer a steady pace of work. When it is too busy, I get overwhelmed. When it is too slow, I am bored, and end up cleaning chair legs.
I feel that. My two oldest nephews are the same way. Since it can be a problem for some people I always stop and make sure everyone’s on the same page regarding orders. It only takes a few seconds and everyone stays out of trouble.
The fact I had to go back over and listen to a certain line in this song because it didn't register in my brain properly and the line was "and not hearing what you will say" ☠💀
That's even funnier if you consider all the people who doesn't speak English as a primary language, and has ADHD, and the guy's going faster and faster w the song and you struggle to translate at the same time in your head. That's me. I am people.
Been listening to this on repeat for like 30 minutes. But who can trust my sense of time 🤷♀️ Went to the kitchen to eat dinner, (its 9pm, i have no appetite during the day unless I have immediate access to a preferred food🙃) saw the dishes need to be put away, next round washed, counter and stovetop cleaned, got overwhelmed, forgot about eating and now fighting the idea of the kitchen knowing i have to go in there because i have to eat 10 minutes later. At least it was a fairly productive day. 🙄 At 20 finally seeing people around me be diagnosed and realizing all the things ive(and others) hated or questioned myself for my whole life were not me being lazy or some kind of dunce because i lose all important information when i need it or am asked a question unless its a crisis or cannot stay with any hobby for more than a few months, even if i loved it - it was just adhd running unchecked and forced down by people who dont or wont understand it. (That is a run-on sentence, my friend.) Working on getting a real diagnosis now, and fighting for myself. I hope everyone can get the understanding and help we need. I love you all.
You're just more productive in your head. But you wanna know what's worse? Having ADD (procrastination) and being a perfectionist. Even when I get the motivation to do something, I may quit halfway through because I don't like how I'm doing it. Writing essays for school (especially when I have a lot of ideas for the topic) stinks too. Speaking of school, guess what I should be doing right now? Anyway, this could all just be because I'm an INTP (MBTI thing), but who knows? I could actually have ADD. Parentheses are a great way to avoid run-on sentences and still get random thoughts in.
@GIGA LAD totally felt here too. I have half finished projects littering my property and had a real hard time finishing essays. Good luck friend, we'll get there at our pace. Give yourself grace for doing what you can.
Then i suggested finding a professional and getting tested. A lot if adhd symptoms are occurrences in Neurotypical people as well and therefore the symptoms seem “relatable” to a large audience. But the difference between ADHD and Neurotypical brain that just has some quirks often times the frequency of the symptoms, their intensity and their impact on life. But I’m not a professional so if you go to professional, they can help you through whether or not you have the condition or just an average with some quirks.
Me. This. 100% Thanks for giving us a means to say everything we need to. I go to the doctor and I forget half the symptoms so I can't even get diagnosed because I forget too many things that happen.
I’ve never been diagnosed but I feel literally almost all of this and I’ve suspected for a long time that I might have adhd. Plus all of my younger siblings have adhd too so it would make a whole lotta sense

Check with a different doctor if you're struggling. I'm pushing 49 and just got my official diagnosis last summer. You've explained every single thing about me. People constantly tell me that i'm lying about my ADHD or tell me that it's just not real. Kind of makes me hate people. But I also don't have the time to care. But it still does make me extremely rageful

So what is that with forgetting people? A good friend of mine said the exaxt same thing to explain why he doesnt message after he moved 500km away He also has ADHD
@@sehrerwachsen8955 Unless someone actively puts themselves in our lives, or gives us something so important and that we use so often and so distinctly valuable to us, we will literally forget they exist once they are out of our immediate day-to-day life, they might pop up in our heads once in a while, but other than that, we forget they exist, or someone we love so much and who makes us feel so appreciated that we also want to turn to them whenever we are feeling insecure.
The first time I saw this I expected some random person attempting to make another one of those bogus internent diagnosis-es, but to music. Then I realized that I apparently have secret stalkers who can read my mind. 😂Now I hyperfixatedly listen to this at least once a day. ... The God of hyper active fixation disorder
I feel weirdly called out on such a personal level
I'm 47 and I was Diagnosed with add adhd and bipolar since the age of 5 I spent 30 day in western Psychiatric For observation in testing was one of the first people to go through these tests this song is Incredibly accurate I loved it
I can listen this on repeat for the rest of my life.
This literally describes me.
when i'm feeling down i usually like to think that i'm to op so the dev gotta nerf me with the adhd debuff
I fully zoned out five times throughout the song
OMG! I now hae a theme song! Thank you for this! LOL
You've explained every single thing about me. People constantly tell me that i'm lying about my ADHD or tell me that it's just not real. Kind of makes me hate people. But I also don't have the time to care. But it still does make me extremely rageful
Oh my goodness- I think it's to the countries of the world song! That's awesome, I feel slightly smart now, lol
im feeling so called out bruh, 100% accurate on every single point, oh my god. This song perfectly described my entire life, and now im going to have to live with it bouncing around in my head for the next week while serving customers at work.
I've never been more offended by something I 100% agree on
i wasnt the only one who had this bouncing in my head for a month XD@@FireFang97
So what is that with forgetting people?
A good friend of mine said the exaxt same thing to explain why he doesnt message after he moved 500km away
He also has ADHD
@@sehrerwachsen8955 Unless someone actively puts themselves in our lives, or gives us something so important and that we use so often and so distinctly valuable to us, we will literally forget they exist once they are out of our immediate day-to-day life, they might pop up in our heads once in a while, but other than that, we forget they exist, or someone we love so much and who makes us feel so appreciated that we also want to turn to them whenever we are feeling insecure.
ADHD: Out of sight out of mind, people or objects
As someone who has ADHD this hits hard and is funny too
the forgetting to eat is literally me 171817181811918191% after my lunch
i was expecting a joke, but this is genuinely informative. thanks
Finally. The song of my people.
I absolutely love this song ❤ I have ADHD so every bit of this song pertains to me. I have had ADHD since I was a kid❤
I need this as a ringtone!
thank you, now i have new stuff to be playin on my head for the next days
I've been diagnosed at birth so I completely relate to this song because I've done everything in this song at least in one day fun fun 😂🤣
The smile at the end is awesome,
And I have never related this much to a song
Idk that it was my ADHD causing all this stuff in my life... Every last one...this song could of been called Bridget's song, and I would believe it 😂
not me listening to this song on repeat with a half eaten apple in my hand
I just realized this, the camera is zooming in with each verse!! I love it!! Get my attention like that!!
I used to be able to read really well for hours at a time but now I can barely focus enough to read a menu
I need the other song. With the "LAaaa"
Has this been my whole life?
Creative, clever, informative. Well done!
IM STILL LOOKING FOR THIS ON SPOTIFY
i played it over and over
I’ve had this song stuck in my head a lot recently… let’s just say:
This song: 3 Sleep: 0
i found my new favorite song
The first time I saw this I expected some random person attempting to make another one of those bogus internent diagnosis-es, but to music. Then I realized that I apparently have secret stalkers who can read my mind. 😂Now I hyperfixatedly listen to this at least once a day. Hearing an entire song's worth of someone ELSE explaining/complaining about how my mind works makes me smile. Thank you for this little 💎! It also sounds amazing, such a bop, you have a good singing voice.
Time to listen to this for 4 weeks
Ive had this on repeat for the last 2 hours
This is genius!! Thanks and blessings!
I absolutely love this!
THIS TINGLED ME SO GOOD IN EVERY PART OF MY BODY 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 YOU GOT BE BOPPING TO ECAH BEATTTTTTTTT
People: what do you mean you have adhd? What’s that?
Me: *pulls up this song *
I LOVE this!
