Another good argument for pain being a lot stronger when not weakened is jiraiyas statement that he thinks it’s inconceivable that hanzo could be beaten. We know pain fought a weaker hanzo, but jiraiya never retracts this statement when fighting pain, so he likely thinks pain would beat a full power hanzo. Jiraiya has known some of the most powerful shinobi of all time like minato, a more prime hiruzen, sakumo, and lady Chiyo so if he thinks beating hanzo is inconceivable then hanzo must be pretty strong, and pain is stronger.
@@ramikpark8387 You'd be surprised how much some folks try to wank Kakuzu. Their line of scaling basically goes, Yugito in her prime should scale to Killer Bee, who scales to KMC1 Naruto 😅.
@@Rck-vert I mean, I don't disagree; But remember that it was only half of the 9 tails chakra anyways, the other half of course in Minato. Pain is not beating the full 9 tails, but half of it? I think it's not far fetched to say he gives kurama a good run for his money at full stamina
@@bishop8852 I meant to say he's not beating the full 9 tails state of half of Kurama....but I do get where ur coming from, he did suppress up to 8 tails kurama while weakened
i think he can beat kurama. Only half is sealed in Naruto. Tail Beasts bomb would just restore nagatos body to full health. Animals from animal path can jump kurama, naraka path can keep reviving them. Shinra tensei to damage. Chewbaccu tensei when kurama is damadged. Asuea path for consistent Long range damage
Sarcasm??? Either way I think Pain was speaking honestly about Jiriya possibly winning the fight. Jiriyah SM amp is weaker than Naruto’s (probably not by much) but he has infinite Chakra, almost no weaknesses, way more experience and massive variety of ninjitsu. He just has a better toolkit for dealing with someone like Pain.
@@AA_AlegriaApenas I mean no question Nagato respected Jiriya but to say you can’t trust his words because of some fleeting emotional attachment??? Nah Jiriya killed 3 of the 6 paths with zero intel, and still took out another Path after they were all revived and was ambushed and had his arm blown off. Nagato was just being objective.
Before the fight Konan also explicitly notes the Paths are underperforming due to stamina loss following the Chaotic Shinra Tensei. Gamabunta is not the strongest toad, Fukasaku is. Gamabunta is the strongest of the giant toads, though. Kakashi was trying to pierce through Shuradō to get to Tendō, noting that he hopes he would make it in time, only to then note he was too late when it cuts back to him. Herein, it seems his cut was interrupted and he actually would have pierced all the way through both of them otherwise. Even if it was not, it does not inherently mean he has inferior attack potency to Naruto, since his Raikiri did pierce through it. Shuradō's durability was inferior. The difference is destructive capacity, since Naruto's Rasengan has superior destructive capacity (over a greater area). The Nidaisengama did not use Frog Song (Toad Confrontation Chant) on the Summons. They used Frog Call instead, which is not a genjutsu. Naruto also just completed the Rasenshuriken outright using senjutsu as he was training with it off-screen, and it was only half complete against Kakuzu. Later on he is able to throw it in base, so I thought it has more to do with him just refining the technique outright. Of note is that Chikushōdō is the fifth lowest of the six Paths in terms of hierarchy, which may suggest the Paths might be powered in that order, when the rest outdo it. It is not actually known if Naruto used a Rasengan or Rasenshuriken on the canine in the manga. Kakashi does not actually snap the rod in the manga, though I think he could. One could say the anime is just making the rods look weaker overall, though. (I think Kakashi with the aid of Myōbokuzan might have been able to push Tendō this far when he already got very close to disabling two of the strongest Paths with much less support.) 21:57 wrong Path name. One could just say Nagato planned on pinning Naruto after his chakra drain caused him to lose consciousness, but he obviously never got the opportunity. Considering that a casual Tendō with some Paths left was able to launch three giant toads flying and broke all of their bones, whilst a drained Tendō failed to push back Naruto past his wall of clones, I think he is significantly weaker after the Chibaku Tensei. Naruto tossing himself as a speed boost may have been the inspiration for the pseudo-Chidori-like Boruto Stream his son employs by launching himself with Wind Release via his clones, which let him close the gap against much stronger, faster, opponents, such as Shizuma. Rough translation of the Volume 47 back: Naruto launches a fierce attack in sage mode and corners Pain. However, Naruto is captured by Pain's unfathomable ability. What answer will Naruto give to Pain, who insists on pursuing his own justice in order to stop the cycle of his hatred?/Naruto, in his sage mode, launches an onslaught and corners Pain. However, Naruto is caught in the face of Pain's unfathomable abilities. What is Naruto's answer to Pain's desire for justice in order to stop the cycle of hatred? Does not seem to mention Naruto's fatigue at all, and in fact again notes Pain's superiority.
Shuradô would definitely have been pierced by Kakashi raikiri. However, he did took Tendô Shinra Tensei which killed Choji's dad and severely hurted Kakashi. Still quite impressive from Shuradô.
Two things that I didn't realize were definitely the Enhanced Perception Mode and the Animal Path being such a problem. I kinda overlooked them honestly. I was thinking about Jiraiya. Pain says Jiraiya could have won if he had all of the intel. I think this either refers to Frog Song landing on all 6 Paths, or Sage Mode having the ability to detect Nagato's real position. Obviously neither is that likely, Pain didn't need 6 Paths to take out Jiraiya
My man ✊🏻🙏🏻 and nah Jiraya fought 3 Paths and was like yeah I’m gonna get killed - Granted the Ninjutsu absorption was the biggest part since that’s what Jiraya is more so known for.
The secret of Pain is that the real one is not among them, and Jiraya understood that Nagato was the one controling them by the end of their fight. If Jiraya had knew from the start, he would have avoid a direct confrontation with Pain, and looked to find Nagato. Since Jiraya has shown being able to get away from Pain several time during their fight, it's safe to imagine that Jiraya could have sneaked around and could have find Nagato. Hence, Pain comment about them needed their secret in order to beat Jiraya. I don't think there was much of a question about Jiraya ability to defeat Pain himself, since Jiraya already explained that 3 body were already to much for him.
SM Naruto physically, and ninjutsu wise is not to be underestemated. Enhanced perception mode of the Rinnegan solve a lot of scalling problems mainly : kamui's speed, Pain was not in that mode after he thought he defeated Kakashi but was when he reacted to Raikiri.
That voice change messed my head up lol. But I gotta respect it, you delivered a goated video and cleared the air. Loko needs to see this video. Hope you feel better TG!
There is no agenda. Naruto barely beat a dude who was literally running on fumes and yet this is supposed to be impressive. Our "hero" barely wins after everyone is murdered and the entire literal city is obliterated. And his GF STILL gets beat up.
@@6tiple6ix6afia One thing I didnt understand was Shikamaru's father saying that; "Naruto was clearly on a completely different level now, nobody would be able to meaningfully help him"(paraphrased it a bit). Was that really the truth? I knew Sage Mode was an INSANE boost at that time but I find it hard to believe that the likes of even Kakashi, and/or Tsunade wouldn't have been able to help him. I know Kakashi was in no condition obviously.
Yeah SM Naruto is just kinda cracked >~ to SM Jiraya who’s equal or on par with the likes of Tsunade in base. Naruto at this point was the strongest in the leaf by a pretty significant margin.
@@nirjhar4803those two are probably the only ones who could do anything and at that point one was dead and the other was basically out of chakra sakura might of been able to help a lil but she’s useless so
This is an amazing video,,and also something i was thinking recently thats crazy is nagato has so much chakra he can amp 6 random jonin fighters (im presuming) to sage naruto levels, which would explain why nagatos got wild motion as an edo
@@Necromancer4267 that 12/13 year old naruto needed kyubi chakra to summon? sure. But that's a really dumb and illiterate analysis. Actually not even analysis, you need to actively ignore the text to reach that conclusion. Saying Naruto can't use summons while Pain does is absolute nonsense. It's as dumb as those morons who say Naruto isn't strong cause of Kurama, but somehow think Sasuke with his Sharingan and Susano is any different? It's exactly the same. It's like saying Shino can't use his bugs, or that Sasuke can't use his curse mark, or that Kimimaro can't use his Kekkei Genkai, etc. You can't arbitrarily pick and choose what abilities are "legitimate". This is american individualism brainrot thinking, which is exactly the opposite of what the entire Naruto story is about.
I gotta say, it's complete bunk that the Rinnegan can't see through smoke when it has at least the same Chakra-visulization as the Sharingan and Byakugan which can both obviously see chakra through solid objects. This alone is a nerf enough to have hugely impacted Pain, since it's this ridiculous nerf that not only loses him the Naraka Path, but also tangentially loses him the final clash against Naruto, as he should have been able to perceive that the debris around him was transformed clone bodies.
It’s so random lol my first time honestly thinking back about the smoke and debris type thing was when sasuke threw a like mineral smoke bomb to block on the byakugan line of sight.
@@Melly_WayyI mean filler doesn't really matter. The Sharingan and Byakugan can see through solid objects. There is no reason the Rinnegan shouldn't be able to as well.
@@Melly_Wayy It makes sense for Sasuke to have a counter because the enemies that will be a challenge to him are otsutsuki's and they usually have a dojutsu that acts or is the byakugan.
Those volume back cover descriptions are on the naruto official website and can be seen in Japanese and other languages. Their articles are also very different in japanese and English so even checking a google translated japanese is better than whatever is given in official english.
Something that I noticed that I haven't seen anyone mention is that Naruto and the frogs kind of threw the fight at the beginning when they used frog song on the animal summons instead of on Pain. I'm more than confident that Naruto could have handled the bull and the dog without needing to stun them with frog song. I think they made a pretty big misplay.
That's how I always looked at it Naruto in sage is a pretty decent bit physically stronger than pain but the tool kit that pain has and his hax abilities make him a way more threatening opponent for more people than Naruto at this point in time
@@Amoeby honestly if they were both fresh and prepared before hand I think Naruto would still win, I think he could have been able to make more clones after more mastery and win imo but I can understand that without 9 tailed Naruto would have lost
I think, with the Naruto vs. Pain fight as well as the Sasuke vs. Itachi fight, that Kishimoto was trying to demonstrate that the ideas Pain and Itachi respectively represented were not ideas Naruto nor Sasuke were currently strong enough to subdue. Naruto needed a great deal of help to win, and Sasuke was duped into believing he found resolution to a problem he didn't even consider existed.
If that's your analysis of Naruto's fight here then you clearly didn't pay any attention to the story whatsoever. Or at least especially the war arc. The story is quite explicitly about the strength of community over the ego. Sasuke is all about gaining power selfishly for himself, while Naruto is the opposite: Finding recognition and power among community, friends. Basically as Kishimoto has explicitly stated: Naruto is about overcoming loneliness. The fight against Pain is supposed to demonstrate the power of everyone working together, and how they together can overcome "a god". That's the message. Not that Naruto wasn't good enough for requiring help - If that was the case, it'd be contradicted by every single point of the story before and after.
@7PlayingWithFire7 Except for the fact that Naruto didn't need help to defeat Sasuke, nor did Naruto defeat Pain at his full power, nor did he defeat Nagato. Look at what happened when Nagato asked Naruto what he would do about the cycle of hatred; the pain that influenced Pain. Naruto didn't have an answer. He just knew he wouldn't give up until he found it. Therefore, Naruto did not have the strength (aka solution) to overcome the idea that Pain represented. That doesn't contradict the overall message of Naruto. It just gives an interpretation of the direct conflict at hand. Same with Sasuke. Sasuke was essentially under a genjutsu created by his brother. Itachi represented the deception and lies fraught in the shinobi world. Sasuke could not see beyond the deception, nor did he have a solution for the cause of the deception. The deception was created to preserve the reputation of the Uchiha clan, but the Uchiha clan and Sasuke were the reasons the deception was needed in the first place. Sasuke was not strong enough to overcome himself and his hatred. Therefore, he lacked the strength to overcome the idea Itachi represented. This also doesn't conflict with the overall message.
@@Black_Guy "Except for the fact that Naruto didn't need help to defeat Sasuke" The Naruto that faces off against Sasuke at the end of the series is a Naruto who could have never gotten to that point without all his friends and comrades. As for Pain, that Naruto doesn't defeat him at his full power doesn't detract from the fact that he did best him (however barely), and only did so because of a communal effort. It especially didn't detract from the fact that he wouldn't have been able to convince Nagato at all without the positive experiences he had with his friends and comrades. It's also worth noting that Nagato's solution wasn't definitive-- he'd have to perform it forever, and that's putting aside his body giving out. It was also a self-contradictory solution-- in order to stop the cyclical violence of their world, he was going to establish a regular pattern of mass violence. The strongest part of his position was in the fact that Naruto didn't initially acknowledge that he (Nagato) was a direct victim of the system of their world, but you can't entirely blame Naruto when he was responding to a Nagato that perpetuated the same kind of violence.
Finally! Felt like I was going crazy when I had to constantly explain these exact points multiple times to commenters on the topic and so called Naruto power scalers. lol Swore I was reading an entirely different story than other people. lol Nailed it 10/10 no notes. Also the detail about the pupils is something I’ve never noticed before so great catch.
Just the 5 second cooldown nerf is absurd, the author no longer even tries to hide it. give me just one other jutsu that has Cooldown😂 And for the drain of chakra, we can even say that the rinnegan has been draining him for 20 years, so the nerf started 20 years ago and not just before attacking the village, Plus the fact that he lost his mobility at the start of the story I don't know how much nerf the author had to give to nagato to make him "beatable" mid-story, even when he got reanimeted as an edo
To be honest, I'd be willing to bet that Pain could probably defeat any opponent short of Madara, Hashirama, KCM2 Naruto, War arc Obito, (With the Rinnegan.) and characters with six paths chakra. I would say Pain, (All six paths not just Tendo.) would be able to take Minato, (High difficulty,) Or the full Nine Tails. (If the leaf village was able to hold it but were unable to really contend with Pain.)
I think he could take on War Arc Obito high diff as Obito himself admits he couldn't even control two Rennigan at the same time and he thought it was inconceivable Pain would ever loose in a fight. If not Pain than Nagato for sure. But otherwise 100% onboard with everything else Pain scales right to top tier War Arc characters.
@@BigHeadClan Oh Nagato absolutely could stand toe to toe with War arc Obito. Nagato should be at least somewhat comparable in speed as KCM2 Naruto since we see him blitz KCM1 Naruto who should be faster than Minato if you go off the data books stating that the Raikage was equal in speed to Minato. Add to that, Obito gets tagged by a lot of things that Pain would have either absorbed or blasted back. Obito himself says he won't use the Rinnegan abilities because of how much chakra they burn up but we watch Pain spam them like they cost nothing. Obito basically uses the Rinnegan just to control the outer path and the ten tails. I love that finally someone else has pointed out that Obito admits to not being able to handle the power of two Rinnegan. Pain really is a War Arc boss dropped right in the middle of the series and Zetsu is right to assume he's invincible considering the shinobi at the time. I think it's safe to say that Madara and Hashirama are just outside of Nagato's league but I wouldn't say that there is nothing Nagato could do against them. Nagato could still fight back and hold out for even a little while.
I think I never saw a video explaining how Pain would have dealt with 6 tails Kyubi if all the paths weren't destroyed. Plus, it would have been interesting to analyze if the 6 paths could defeat 9 tails Kyubi.
makes me wonder if the sound 4 and sasuke retrieval team are all mid-high chunin level since the sound 4 needed to go 100% against only 2 heavyly fatigued jonin, meaning the only jonin lv fighters in that arc is kimimaru and i guess garra
THANKKKK YOUUU! ive said this so many times. Thee amount of chakra nagato used BEFORE fighting a fresh and prepped sage naruto is wiiiiiild. Pain was nowhere near 100%. He even cut his own actual life span down with that super almighty push. Nagato also had to keep changing chakra singal frequencys thee whole time so no one could track him. WHILE he was fighting BEFORE fighting sage naruto.
Pain gets way too much shit for loosing most of the fight to sage naruto with help and intel. The fact that as soon as tendo gets his powers back naruto gets bodied almost instantly just shows what would happen if tendo was operational from the start
Pain was NOT full power pain coming into contact with naruto, and previous to that, he collected a tailed beast, i could be wrong but i think the same day before going into the leaf? 🌿???
Rinnegan perception Mode interesting... When it comes to the Black Rods/Rinnegan Rods it's possible that even in the anime while they use the Durability thing that could just be 2 things or some of that Anime increased strength which well... Kinda makes Pain Cracked in the Anime for the weird feats they preform surviving against 6 Tails Naruto anyways. However I don't think Pain was stupid knowing Chakra being put into weapons or force along with this perception maybe made them realize that if they hit Naruto with this rod that it might have been able to do damage or they might have started to become weaker due to fatigue since Sage Mode should just be multipying their power and as they get weaker the multiplier could still be the same but the final result would be lower. The games go crazy but that's its own different canon. While it might have been added I assume they mean that weird effect that happens to Naruto after he went 4 tails probably happened here since not only did he go 6 tails which now that it can move shows Naruto probably got stronger but even if the backlash wouldn't have been as bad he went 8 tails and almost 9 and then finally got reversed and in his last Sage Mode. That Naruto Throw but interesting Pain took no external Damage from the Rasengan I wonder if Nagato was just amping the body however with as much Chakra and maybe focusing the durability at the point of impact similar to how Kabuto healed the point of Impact because he didn't want them to be destroyed that body but it also could just be a thing in which Naruto didn't have enough power to do anymore than just put them out of comission for enough time. I'll maybe come back with another comment later I wasn't watching and commenting at the same time. I have to go now and Watch that Akatsuki vid. Itachi > Pain.
all nagato had to do is stab naruto once the preta path absorbed his sage mode and dip, instead of standing there like an npc and losing the path needlessly. but then he learns from this mistake, and what does he do next? MONOLOGUE. BRING OUT THE NINE TAILS. so on top of everything else naruto had going for him, nagato is like actually slow.
@@ThunderGodTG idk about that, naruto is falling down, if that was a rasenshuriken he would just fall on the area of effect of the jutsu, not a smart move i'd say considering its also durability negation
sasuke having perfect susanoo is also kinda wierd, it makes sense for him to have it dont get me wrong but narrativly he should be a rival to naruto and his avatar is the same size as the legged susanoo, naruto has half of the ninetails wich is noted to shrink in size when minato splits it with the reaper so if sasuke had that he would dworf him in power
I would say because Naruto was put onto sage mode and such from jiraiya and doesn't know Minato jutsu set this far he was trying to surpass pervy sage then, and later on his father who was a better ninja, no cap
When Pain went against Naruto in a taijutsu in the final fight, instead of nailing him to the ground as he had done 7 minutes ago, it already became clear that Pain was nerfed, Tendo path is just too op
Imagine if pain madara and Obito were the final bosses at the end of the war arc instead of Kaguya that’d be sick even though madara and Obito were going to betray him regardless
I never noticed Pain expands his pupils in order to enhance his perception. That's interesting. Does Nagato also do that in the War Arc? The only point I want to add (or really, emphasize) is that SM Naruto is stronger and faster than each individual path, and also sole Tendou, because he is always able to press him and break his Rinnegan rods. Because of Tendou's and Gakidou's abilities he kinda has to spam Rasenshuriken and other Rasengan variants in order to create an opening, but he always has the advantage in their Taijutsu exchanges. This isn't to say, however, that he would win against full power Tendou because 1) without intel he would have to figure out the Shinra Tensei cooldown by himself in order to damage Tendou, which isn't impossible, just hard in general, and Naruto has a lot of battle IQ but he's not on the level of Itachi, Kakashi and Sasuke, and 2) he runs out of SM quite quickly and needs help from the toads to be able to go into it again mid fight. What I'm saying is just that (with intel) Naruto could beat the other paths and then Tendou without external help if he had infinite Sage Mode, or had a better way of replenishing it mid fight. This also doesn't mean he'd win 10/10 times because he doesn't have an answer to Chibaku Tensei. Without intel though Naruto has very little chance even with infinite SM. The Rinnegan abilities' main strength is the unknown factor and how easy it is to lose to their hax if you don't know what you're up against.
@@Rck-vert Being faster doesn't mean the opponent can't react. I didn't say he can blitz Pain, I said that he has the advantage in Taijutsu (while in SM).
I just heard sage of thick calves pause lol say chidori doesn't amp speed. I genuinely don't know who I agree with on this topic Edit: W vid btw very entertaining as usual
You can tell the fight is "rigged" in Naruto's favor from the start. The Asura path moment should have played out one of 2 ways. 1. It leads with a ranged attack, which we see it do in all its fights showing it favors ranged attacks, and takes out Tsunade or forces Naruto to protect her. OR 2. Asura goes in like in the original fight, but does so as a feint to bait a surprise counter attack on Naruto. The actions of Pain in this moment reek of forced stupidity by the author and ignore the previously established fight tactics that Pain uses. Don't forget that Pain is a really skilled fighter and has beaten many skilled opponents. First, Tsunade was not a threat, but if she was, why send Asura to engage someone who is strong in CQC with a sage Naruto nearby. Second, why did Pain go tunnel vision and ignore sage Naruto? The Paths were established to watch over each other. The moment Naruto moved, the Asura path, who has the speed capability to react, should have dodged/countered. The whole fight, while still great, suffered from plot armor.
The defeat of the asura path made absolutely 0 sense, the reaction of nagato is insane and he is a sensor type ninja so he could have been able to sense coming naruto from above, not only that, i'm sure some of the other paths must have been able to see naruto coming, and pain could have dodged that attack by summoning the asura path back to where they are, as simple as that. And even if he got hit by a rasengan that shouldn't have been enough to take him down, after this scene i knew this fight was going to be some buuuuuuuullshit
SM Naruto has some serious anti-feats in this fight that people ignore. One example would be FRS and how effortlessly it got evaded by the paths. Later on, when Deva was seriously weakened, he was still dodging it with little issues. And Pain isn't even someone known for speed, that's not where his power lies. Consider for comparison that Naraka Path couldn't dodge Konohamaru's Rasengan. This makes you wonder about the effectiveness of FRS against various Kage level characters, especially considering Naruto only has 2 shots before running out of SM juice. Another anti-feat is strength. Deva Path was shown to be on par with Base Naruto, yet even after entering SM, Naruto couldn't overpower him as Deva was capable of blocking his hits. To me this suggests that SM physical stat boost is nowhere near as big as this fandom portrays it. It seems that most of the "SM speed" comes from heightened sensing it provides rather than pure speed.
@@ThunderGodTG Wdym, does the vid address how slow and linear rasenshuriken is in this fight? Might've missed it. I legit don't see how this thing lands against any decently fast Kage tier considering Naraka path dodged it. Naruto needs at least several clones to set up the flank (such as vs Kakuzu) and he can't do that in SM (in this arc at least). Btw i did watch and agree with the main points that prove nerfed Pain >>> buffed SM Naruto. But the theory about dilated pupils giving enhanced perception is murky and inconsistent. It seems to switch on and off almost randomly.
W mans mad dudes been commenting without watching, I def have contention with the stuff you mentioned, but this Naruto’s rasenshuriken literally only scales off of Pain it doesn’t scale anywhere else or off anyone else. So it’s like are we really gonna argue Konohamaru > than an attack SM Naruto uses in speed or is there a more likely explanation. The whole Naraka path thing is def blown out of proportion since A) that’s def the weakest path but, Pain is more than likely not funneling as much chakra through the Hunting paths as they’re all fishing for intel as opposed to the diversions which are focused on fighting. The Naraka path also never really engages with Naruto like that with the only example where it dodges being when other paths have also dodged where the human path doesn’t, which in that context makes sense it’s not useful in that scenario. The pupils are actually extremely consistent Ch.419 is the very first instance of it which follows into the arc and is present in the Jiraya Fight. Most people who have been having issues with it (not saying you) have just argued it’s inconsistent without actually going through or providing examples of why or when.
@@ThunderGodTG I don't necessarily think Konohamaru's rasengan is faster than rasenshuriken given the distance between him and Naraka was much shorter, but it certainly goes against rasenshuriken being this super fast ability that can one shot Kage tiers when thrown linearly at them. To put this in another way, do you see PA Kakashi getting hit by the same linearly thrown rasenshuriken that Pain dodged? Who's the strongest character you see getting hit? Because i see no evidence that Pain is notably faster than Kakashi and i would argue some of the paths are slower. Re: the pupils, well i just went to check and he switches it on for a moment when talking to Tsunade when she pisses him off. He does the same when talking to Naruto who was pinned to the ground. To me this seems mostly like a stylistic choice from Kishimoto to show Pain's mental state or focus rather than any specific ability or mode. It's an interesting theory however.
The strongest character who I think gets hit is irrelevant, it’s much better to just scale SM Naruto to the speeds he thinks he can handle such as Sasuke’s Susano’o arrow speed which he sensed on route to the 5KS as opposed to scaling Pain in this weird state. I also don’t think Kakashi is ~ to Pain at all in speed as he doesn’t tag him once and was force to almost chakra fatigue himself to death, even Kakashi’s Chidori amped speed is never too much for pain. As far as the Pupils in those two instances, he was checking the chakra at Tsunade and CO’s feet to see that they had a counter devised to his Jutsu, when he does it against Naruto he more than likely does it to confirm Naruto is actually incapacitated as this is right before he takes the time to explain his ideology to Naruto, so it makes sense he’d want to confirm he’s 1000% restrained before just talking to him.
After watching half of this, it seems this is strictly for people who can't actually read. I haven't watched/read any Naruto since the manga concluded, outside of some choice scenes I wanted to see animated, like Gai vs Madara, and I still remember all of this stuff lmao. Reading comprehension is rare I suppose. But you got one detail "wrong". I put wrong in quotations because I think you know about it and just failed to say it properly, because the text you showed on screen said it. What I mean is Naruto using a rasengam in each hand with double the strength. It's NOT over twice tge strength because he has one in each hand. Each rasengan is individually over twice as strong as normal there because they are spinning in opposite directions. So when they're pushed together, they speed each other up like interlinkee cogs.
Yes this is true and it’s due to having 1 in each hand which as a result has them spinning in opposite directions, a result of having them in each hand, but I get what you’re saying it wasn’t just having one in each hand that makes them > it’s the effect of it. I was aware of this it just wasn’t a focal point in the script as the scan is on screen for people to read.
I always think what would have happened if Jiraiya chose to flee from pain. Does going back to the village mean Naruto dies? Would that have meant that pain would have taken Naruto's spot in the prophecy? Would he have betrayed Madara/Obito? Would Sasuke end up fighting a nine tails jinchiriki pain?
Yeah, it’s more so that Kakashi didn’t instantly pierce through it that matters. Along with Asura path actually still being in tact after getting repelled by the same attack that took down Kakashi and surviving.
Wasn’t pain stronger then sage mode Naruto even with info pain still beat Naruto when he pinned him down and he used of his chakra against the leaf village
Yes He indeed was not just that but much stronger but mfs kept forgetting that pain gone up against the leaf along with wasting his strongest attack on the leaf village instead of not to mention that pain was extremely fatigued also mfs Naruto had way to much help even with that and he still lost.
im not following the logic behind Naruto's summons being support but Pain's not being support. also yeah naruto had intel and planned his confrontation but i doubt pain had no intel on him and had no plan going after the leaf, he'd have to be stupid for that to be the case
Naruto can’t summon 3 Toad Sages at the same time, he’s strictly limited to one at a time. Pains summons he can use continuously without any reserve and is binded by a contract. Naruto’s limited to 1 Large Toad summon whereas Pain isn’t limited by anything.

(I think Kakashi with the aid of Myōbokuzan might have been able to push Tendō this far when he already got very close to disabling two of the strongest Paths with much less support.)
21:57 wrong Path name.

😂what ?
Take out either Preta Path or Tendo path and Jiraiya mid diffs the rest.
@SalmanulFarisi101 No need for hypotheticals, we saw what happened lol
@@SalmanulFarisi101I think you are right. Preta Path and Tendo are the real trouble for Jiraiya. That said they too are Pain there for Jiraiya loses

Summoning three Gamabunta-level Summons, which previously *required* Kyuubi chakra to even attempt, would absolutely matter for Naruto's stamina, yes.
Jiraya needed time to summon Pa' & Ma', and Naruto would have needed quite some chakra to summon 3 giants toads.
It’s very odd honestly
It’s so random lol my first time honestly thinking back about the smoke and debris type thing was when sasuke threw a like mineral smoke bomb to block on the byakugan line of sight.

Great vid
I think, with the Naruto vs. Pain fight as well as the Sasuke vs. Itachi fight, that Kishimoto was trying to demonstrate that the ideas Pain and Itachi respectively represented were not ideas Naruto nor Sasuke were currently strong enough to subdue. Naruto needed a great deal of help to win, and Sasuke was duped into believing he found resolution to a problem he didn't even consider existed.
I liked that observation and hypothesis, it definitely makes sense to me
If that's your analysis of Naruto's fight here then you clearly didn't pay any attention to the story whatsoever.
@7PlayingWithFire7
Except for the fact that Naruto didn't need help to defeat Sasuke, nor did Naruto defeat Pain at his full power, nor did he defeat Nagato.
12:30 Exactly!
For the enhanced perception thing, i kinda interpret as nagato just directing more focus/chakra towards a specific pain

And for the drain of chakra, we can even say that the rinnegan has been draining him for 20 years, so the nerf started 20 years ago and not just before attacking the village,
Plus the fact that he lost his mobility at the start of the story
I don't know how much nerf the author had to give to nagato to make him "beatable" mid-story, even when he got reanimeted as an edo

Would love to see a video going over Naruto and Sasukes IQ

3:52 I thought the same
To be honest, I'd be willing to bet that Pain could probably defeat any opponent short of Madara, Hashirama, KCM2 Naruto, War arc Obito, (With the Rinnegan.) and characters with six paths chakra.
In TG, we trust 🙌
makes me wonder if the sound 4 and sasuke retrieval team are all mid-high chunin level since the sound 4 needed to go 100% against only 2 heavyly fatigued jonin, meaning the only jonin lv fighters in that arc is kimimaru and i guess garra
Naruto vs Sasuke on their battle IQ sounds like a cool topic, both are smart in their own ways (ESPECIALLY Naruto)
Yeah Pain would've bodied. War arc proves this further as Nagato almost captured KCM Naruto AND Killerbee! Pain is a victim of power scaling.

How's he faster when Pain reacted to him multiple times?

But you know right he was absorbing chakra From people too
I just heard sage of thick calves pause lol say chidori doesn't amp speed. I genuinely don't know who I agree with on this topic
Edit: W vid btw very entertaining as usual
Bro is that frame data in the thumbnail
Bro just ain’t watch the vid smh
I wouldn't say naruto "clowned" kakuzu in that fight😭💀 but otherwise goated vid it needed to be made
I always think what would have happened if Jiraiya chose to flee from pain. Does going back to the village mean Naruto dies? Would that have meant that pain would have taken Naruto's spot in the prophecy? Would he have betrayed Madara/Obito? Would Sasuke end up fighting a nine tails jinchiriki pain?
Shinra biju bomb?
2:57 doesn’t pain use shinra tensei before kakashi could get the chance to fully pierce through the asura
Yeah, it’s more so that Kakashi didn’t instantly pierce through it that matters. Along with Asura path actually still being in tact after getting repelled by the same attack that took down Kakashi and surviving.
@@ThunderGodTG ppreciate the answer but i don’t remember giving you permission to reply type sh
Chakra challenged sounds like a slur
People also forget pain wasn't fighting to kill naruto if he was trying to kill him naruto would've died when pain was given him the speech
Interpreting Minato and Jiraiya as Totally different according to your agenda from the exact same Statement is the Epitome of Wanking and Ignorance 🙌😬
Lmao
@@ThunderGodTG i did..by watching your argument 😉
Lol
Goodsht TG

@@ThunderGodTG virtually all summons seem to be based around you having the loyalty of a creature in one way or the other and then using a jutsu to move that creature to your current location, I just don't see how summoning limitations are important, theoretically Naruto could summon pa who could summon other toads could he not? Maybe it just me but I view all summons available to a ninja as just part of their kits
How can you say pain is stronger than naruto when naruto beats pain…
Yeah TG is spitting absolute facts i’ve been talking to People who think that this somehow makes Pain way weaker and I’m just like huh what are you talking about Tendo Pain is Weaker than he usually is way weaker as a Matter of Fact so TG is commend you Bro for shutting down this ABSOLUTE NONSENSE z of People using to Downplay Pain.
Pain was badly nerfed like ashura path got one shot which is not possible and the animal path was not able to dodge Rasenshuriken is kinda lame like from the start it was already decided naruto will win . After naruto defeats pain kishimoto should have given chance to nagato to fight with naruto like how he fought with killer bee in bad state and naruto doesn't even know nagato is UZUMAKI. There should be a movie on pain arc
TG i know you got another sasuke video in you ;)
This is his setup😂.I see through his chess move
I thought it was pretty obvious naruto never beat pain. He survived long enough to pull off a talk no jutsu. Cut and dry😊
