I'm naming this the Slice Basket or the Basket Slice Which sounds better? (obvious Genji pun), because i found it myself :D (other videos i saw of people doing the basketball shot were either luck, trolling or just editing it to make it look like they did it every time) This is an actual way to get it every time!
Take note that this will work with genji so choose genji at the beginning of the control point maps ilios, Lijiang Tower and Nepal, i will try to find new ways to do it with other characters! So stay subbed for that. Enjoy! :D

nice find. basically it works for any char that can crouch and have the crosshair mark on a even level with that table or when crouched at that location the basketball blocks the basket's view.
mccree, reaper,, bastion that have a higher crouch height doesnt work.

not sure if it works as consistently with crouching but while standing you can estimate the correct spot by hero height bent over heroes at bottom of the net super tall heroes are alight on the hoop beyond that the method is the same (except the w part I just center the ball to the basket it works about 95% of the time)
just found out u don't really need to line up and crouch like that. just do the net aim part. no need to crouch melee either. but this vid got me my 1st shot. ;-)
I thought about doing something like this to see if it worked but never got round to it so thanks :D, and no problem, glad to know that you use it in your games.

Is that workin on all heroes?
it depends, some characters are taller than others and have different stances,so it varies. I'd assume that you would have to aim the ball in a different area for some of the other characters.
