She pressed doctors for answers and was ultimately diagnosed with colon cancer and it saved her life. Christine sits down with Tamron in our episode titled, “From Zoom to the Room.

8:11 I was diagnosed with colon cancer at 28. I am now 60. It's one of the most curable cancers, if caught early. I went through surgery, radiation( 5 weeks) chemo therapy (1 yr or as I chose to look at it 12 weeks) back then it was on rise in younger people. I believe it the food we eating (too much chemicals and the environment) that's causing a rise in these cancers. Doctors need to start think outside the box and get with the program. Thank God she is doing better. Get your screening people.

So happy to hear Christine is doing better! You know your body...I have had this test done and it can make a difference...I had one doctor who brushed me off (I have crohns)and another doctor who helped me...too many stories to list on here...I have been up and down for the past 25 years...and I've learned a lot about gut problems...listen to your gut and try to watch stress (not always easy)but find something to relax and take care of yourself!! There is only one of you and you deserve a good life!
