Very good and thank you for explaining the nature of your ankle injury, one which I am prone to but would like to prevent. I'm debating between the EXT's and the regular stainless fast way foot pegs. You helped a lot.
Get the ext 🤙🏻
Badass footpegs 💯🇺🇸
The best there are.
Looks trick, gonna look into a set of these, I have a weaker right calf muscle this might help from injury. thanks for posting, james
Those are dope! Gotta get me some!
They’ll look great on your new ktm 😜
Those look sweet ! Getting ready to try the xc gear pegs in the next week, but man i like the extension on these and the fact that you can adjust height/ forward and back on the bike with these. Nice!!
Definitely! They are nice pegs, and I’ve ridden in the low position for 4 years now. Would be really hard for me to go to another peg.
Dude these weigh waaayyyyyy more than 200 grams more, LOL. I was actually shocked when I got them in the mail and felt how heavy they are. THink I'm gonna send them back and get the aluminum version. In all my years of riding I've never bent an aluminum peg.
I love the steal. I bent 3 of the aluminum ones before doing steal.
However their updated design is supposed to be stronger and I haven’t bent an aluminum of the new version yet.
@@TheMitchForrest I weighed them they're 15 oz each as compared to my Flo aluminum tags that are 4 oz each.
@@JoshStreetDesign reliability is more important than weight to me.
Curious how much camber the one washer you used gives? Should be close to flat I'm thinking?
I think it’s pretty close to stock. Not a ton of camber.
@@TheMitchForrest listening to your video and ankle injury I can now relate. Less severe but I broke my foot Friday. Fifth metatarsal, I've been putting too much pressure on the outside of my foot. So I'm curious if OEM camber may be doing my body a disservice. I'm curious if the fastway pegs will go to flat (i.e. no camber)
@@lucgallant that makes sense. Sorry for the injury! All the washers removed it does sit basically flat. Fastway is pretty responsive if you want an answer straight from the source.
@@TheMitchForrest thank out - I did send the an email earlier actually. Will work with them. I'd always read online people saying they had to sit out riding, I always felt for them but until you're the one sitting out it's not quite possible to understand how bad it sucks. Thanks for the video!!
In your opinion was the stainless steel pegs better than the aluminium ones. I want to get the Pro EXT but they only in aluminium
Yeah I’ve bent 3 aluminum ones real bad. However the new generation of them is supposed to be much stronger
@TheMitchForrest thanks for the reply, do you think the Pro pegs with the 3 extra studs in the front is worth it? Afraid to spend the cash on something that will bend.
@@francorizza3570 I don’t think so!
@TheMitchForrest have still got your stainless steel ones and are they still good. Think I'll change my order to the s.steel pegs too
@@francorizza3570 they’re still good! Had them on 4 bikes. Finally had to sell them since they didn’t fit the 23 ktm chassis.
im about 5'11" would the lower mount be better for me? does it allow you to get a better bite on the bike with your legs? Thanks!
You’re about the size it should still work. I definitely think it does.
@@TheMitchForrest Awesome! Thanks Man!
does your kick starter hit the peg ?
No kickstart.
@@TheMitchForrest thank you
How Bout You Wash Your Bike😂
That’ll just wear out your bearings 😂
