Pink Floyd is like no other group. Their creativity and attention to detail is amazing. I read that this song is about Mother Earth taking back the planet after so many years of abuse.
The end of the song move onto the next ‘Coming Back To Life’ which is brilliant
You have to listen to the song that follows TAKE IT BACK in the same concert called COMING BACK TO LIFE, I assure you that you will feel even more harmony and healing peace. Both are continuous on the album THE DIVISION BELL. Great channel...greetings and blessings.🙏

Any Pink Floyd song, is a good song
One of my most favourite songs by PF, so underrated and dismissed, because "Waters is not there". I listen to it a lot lately, even today, 3 times.
I never liked the "Pulse" album, although it is quite legendary. But here, this is a great performance. Magic.
My biggest favourite is "Learning to fly", another one without Waters. I don't care. ♥
This one is actually very heavy, once you realise that its about mother earth and all the damage that we are doing to her and how she will still be here long after we are all gone.
For something a bit different I would sugget the korean group Farinella… amazing voices… try Je suis malade, Hijo de la luna, Bohemian rhapsody… all beautifully interpreted!

I’ve been following for awhile, because of your Carpenters reactions. I don’t see how to request so I’ll do it here. Believe it or not this request follows the rules I saw of 80’s to today. This song was released on 3/2/24 on Karen’s birthday in heaven, in her honor. Jim Wilkas has with musicians from around the world and a 20 year old lead vocalist in Minnesota created a song video. The song is We’ve Only Just Begun. A Carpenters cover? Yes. IMHO possibly the best Carpenters cover ever created. Totally loyal to Richard’s arrangement. Analyzed by my request on Wings of Pegasus. This is a new and accurate cover. Oh and the vocal? May I introduce Tori Holub to you. Knowing your love of Carpenters and Kacie, I am confident of what is going to happen to you in the first 30 seconds. This is why I mentioned Wings; no autotune, no pitch correction. Obviously that episode is a spoiler but you can see the thumbnail slide, so you know it’s real. I do hope you enjoy this and know that real and beautiful music can absolutely be made today. Here’s one example and they are making more.

Have always had a strange relationship with this song: on the one had, it's a great vocal melody from David and is a good, catchy song, bordering almost on pop, which is unusual for Pink Floyd. On the other hand, for being such a renowned, innovative guitarist, David's playing here is so derivative--he's totally mimicking the guitar playing of The Edge from U2, and that's not something I'd have expected from someone so original.
David was doing this LONG before The Edge did it. David was progenitor of this guitar style back in the early 70s.

Dude... ya looked like you phoned that one in. I'm not particularly interested in seeing an over dramatic, gushing , reaction, but man... if you're not overly enthusiastic about it ? Say so or scrap it. I first saw Floyd in 73 in Tampa, and 3 times after. I was 13. No adult supervision. For context , my first couple concerts were Zeppelin, then Deep Purple. The reason I, and likely others, watch reactions is to see someone's honest "reaction" because it brings back memories of my older brother walking in the door with the new Stones album and putting it on Pop's, never to be touched, turntable and blasting it through the JBLs. To be honest my memories of most of those shows are rather vague. It was the early 70s. We were wasted but I did have a blast. No shade... Just a little constructive criticism. Good luck...
