seeing your videos about older gear makes me sad in many ways that I started sooo late to do videos additionally to photography. I always thought this to be an expensive, complicated stuff that requires expensive gear - but it turns out already 20 years ago there were great cameras for casual videography. Kudos for your videos!

Hey there! Thanks for your comment. Yes there was gear 20 years ago, and what was interesting is that they came in all different shapes, sizes, looks etc. Now almost all the gear looks the same, with a different brand name on it! Well, I guess you can't fight change! Thanks again

All of these reviews never mention how these cameras actually record what's on the tv if hooked up properly. It isn't only an AV-out. It's an AV input. I used that camera to record my ps2 games as a kid. I bought one of these again for that purpose

Hey there! I don't think there was a specific name for the camcorder body style but there was definitely a distinctive look to the shape of these early 2000 camcorders with their vertical design! Thanks for your comment!

Do you know how to delete a photo or video on the basic memory? I can't get any SD card to work, so I'd need to keep the provided memory mainly empty. I only have the battery charger cable.

You have to get a really old SD card to work Don’t you see a delete option when you view the photo ?

I found how to delete the supplied memory:: Mode, My Works, menu, select Delete One
An Old SD card a Sandisk Ultra II 2GB, will load ,the camcorder notes "CARD CHANGE" Then in Menu find Format, YES, and the works go to the SD Card.
