We invited EVERYTHING thank you Mr. Crum we love the chips
Facts!!! GOD’s chosen ppl that’s why . Duet. 7:6 !!!
That is my favorite snack!! Thanks for Sharing 😘
We really did.......
Maybe not everything 😅
@@sandybeaches3950yes everything. Bless yo Lilly whyt heart.
We've invented more than you can imagine. Those things you think we didn't invent, was later stolen, as natural for your people.
Take for instance the Automobile.
Yall made it seem as though henry ford invent it. He did not.
The Germans were the first to invent it. Later, in amerika, a former slave by the name of A Patrerson, made an Automobile and headed the "Patterson Coach Company".
He was later run out of business by henry ford, who came up with the "assembly line".
That ice cream scoop, that's us. The cell phone, that's us, the traffic signal, that's us, the first heated radiator, that's us, the formula for making Jack daniels, that's us.
I gotta go don't have much more time to continue the list.😅
That was not an accident. It was genius.
You know that right
Bet he didn't receive a dime for his invention...,...
I bet they didn't pay him anything but took all the credit.
Every time!
That’s exactly what happened because he didn’t patent it!
Like they usually do.
I was wondering 🤔 💭 the exact same thing. Was he adequately compensated and given credit for his brilliant discovery, or did they rob him of his invention, financial gain, and steal his ideas like they've done everything else of value?🤨🧐🙏🏽
@@hermanhitt5055 While George Crum is credited with inventing the potato chip, he did not become rich from its creation. He didn't think of patenting the thinly sliced fried potatoes he served, so anyone could copy his idea and beat him to the patent office. However, Crum did run a popular restaurant in Saratoga Springs, New York, where his "Saratoga Chips" were a favorite menu item. He continued to innovate and experiment with different flavors and toppings. George Crum is rightly recognized as the inventor of the potato chip, but he didn't reap the financial rewards that later generations associated with the snack. He did achieve personal success and culinary recognition.
They stay stealing all our amazing greatness... George Crum made the potatoe chip. ROUND OF APPLAUSE.
He actually didn't invent potato chips
If they're not stealing our creations, they are killing the black person who invented it.
@@deebonanno3165
He did invent the potato chip!!! This isn't the first time that I heard this. You pilgrims will never change.
@MADNEWYORKER914 No the recipe existed before him
British white guy William Kitchiner prepared potato chips BEFORE Mr. Crum was even born, lol! He even has a cookbook dated to 1817, that includes a detailed description of preparing potatoes in potato chip fashion (though without the name "potato chips", the name given to it apparently by someone else) Another British cooking book in 1825 refers to a French recipe called "Pommes de Terre frites" - which translates into "fried potatoes" and if you read the instructions you're directed to thinly slice the potatoes, fry and salt them. Those were freakin' potato chips, H-E-L-L-O! But in the spirit of affirmative action and racial equity plus throw in the need for reparations, we'll just give the credit for invention of the potato chip to African American cook George Crum when we declare that he "officially" invented it in 1853. We'll dismiss the other 2 previous instances of potato chips on record in the early 1800s by those two different white men as "duds". So there. Problem solved, lol!🤣👍
I never knew he was black. In every story I heard of Mr. Spexk, his race is never mentioned. I heard this story countless times. Thanks. 😄
You're welcome 🙂
I knew he was Black, but I didn’t know his name but I heard this story before too bad he didn’t get any recognition for it I heard he never patent it!!
When they don’t mention complexion in a “good” story, they’re hiding the truth that it’s US!
He looked Native Indian and identified as such
@@MM-ow2md No he didn't. I've seen the image you are referring to. That's not him.
Imagine how wealthy his family would have been if ………
Uncle so proud of you we still enjoyed your product you are among the best
Incredible! Thank you Mr. Crum! We appreciate you sharing your God gifted purpose!
Never knew this. Thank you.
You're welcome 🙂
Wow. They never told us that in school. I hope his family is well compensated
Don't believe everything you see on youtube...do your own research
2824, he not only, not get credit. His family, is still saying. SHOW ME THE MONEY!
Nope!!!
They did the same thing to him that they did to Henrietta Lacks.
@@MM-ow2md
So you are saying that he didn't invent the potato chip???
Let me guess, you're white, right???
@@MM-ow2mdso who made it
Thank you Sir.
George Crum inventor of the most beloved snack of all time.
It was no accident. It was a thoughtful chefs idea.
Beautiful beautiful
When you know you know
I'm almost 70 years of age, just learned of ALL the AA inventors last summer while at Sumner school with the kids
So GRATEFUL to know this HISTORY 🙏🏾 ❤❤❤❤
Love potatoe chips
Who stole the idea, and said they I vented it??? I know some European did!!!
Just a sure as the patent office opened.
So proud of that creative invention. Kudos black man🎉
But we already got some of those palm colored people saying that this isn't true!!! They will never change.
Another Amazing Black American Story😁👍✅👍✅👍✅
I love chips. Thank you Mr. Cumb
I'm glad Mr. George Crum created the potato Chip they are my favorite snack. My favorite flavor is jalapeno. Mr. Crum would be pleasurely surprised that we have so many flavors of the potato Chip.
This is very very awesome.❤❤❤❤
Thank you for this information I am sure including myself. A lot of people did not know a black man-made this. We get so little credit for things that we do thank you for this information
You're welcome 🙂
RIH THANKS SIR.👏👏👏
Mr. Speck knew I was going to be born, and would absolutely love potato chips! Thank you brother Speck, that's how we do taking care of generations to come. 👍🏾👌🏾
Thank you Mr.Speck for inventing the potatoe chip...I Always wonder who came up with the idea....B1❤
I wonder 🤔 who made the pretzels?🤔
I thank you the late Mr. Crumb for your Phenomenal invention.
My son loves your channel. He's getting his teachers big mad. Shalom Kinfolk 💪🏾
Thank you 🙂
Do not get education from CZcams without doing your own independent research. Crumb did not identify as black. He identified as Native Indian.
@MM-ow2md Why you came way over here uninvited with those lies? George Crum was just as chocolate as a Hershey bar.
@@BlackDiscoveries put a link to a picture of him
@@MM-ow2md Put some thought into your brain and go research it yourself.
Well alright Mr. George Crum. I am very proud of my ancestors. I will remember this every time I eat a potato chip. 😊
Mr. Crum where would we 🙋🏿♀️ be with out your invention. Thanks 😋😋😋😋😋👍🏿👍🏿 Snack legend 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🙅🏿♀️🙅🏿♀️ born from a complaint 🤔🤨🧐

I am so proud to hear this that a black man did this and we thank him. So good!

And I am sure he never received his financial due. Thank you sir!
Born out of Crumbs' creativity.
Did he or family become rich?

@@BlackDiscoveries Exactly right.
R.I.P. to the snack legend. 🙏🏾
This is beautiful! I didn’t know!! Oh lord goodness, beautiful piece work! Beautiful king 👑
Wow!!!! I never knew this, Beautiful are the stars, beautiful are my people!!!
And the white man took credit for his creation as usual
How the white man took credit for the potato chips?
There u go thank you king💪💯💪💯
How was it "accidentally" created if he purposely sliced the potatoes thin because a customer said they were to thick?
Thanks for sharing this important history you made History RIP ❤️🙏🏼
You're welcome 🙂
So the man who complained deserves the credit
Things they never tell you in schools.
"it turned him into a snack legend"...but not a snack billionaire?
Ever wondered how so many things created by black people ended up making white people rich and the black person or people benefited nothing from them?
Answer
Through trickery white people use all kinds of schemes to wrestle the rights from black people and through the so called justice system.
Bless you for sharing it!!!
Thank you
The wife was so beautiful great history
We created everything use today 🎉💪 very proud of this 😊
The customer kept sending them back and Speck got frustrated and made them razor thin. Other customers saw this and wanted them also.
It was no accident...WE MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING...WE ARE GENIUS 🎉🎉🎉❤
George Crum Damn super genius. We as black people are Geniuses let's get it.
Accidentally invented? No. He got creative as you said.
This was out of spite may I add, he had enough of the customers complaints and made potato chips with the purpose of humiliating the customer (on that time eating with your hands was seen as bad) only to see the customer digging in enthralled by the potato chips, and boom the greatest snack in the world came to be.
We've been so gracious about getting robbed.
Mr Beck you truly are the king of potato chips I only eat potato chips because of you, barbecue is my choice ✊👑🇺🇸
I heard that he cut the potatoes super thin to piss off the customer because the customer was being a jerk and always complaining about his potatoes being too thick. So he sliced them super thin and put lots of seasonings, but instead of irritating the customer, he satisfied his request and created a new dish in the process 😂
Nown i know why I love potato chips so much. Thank George
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Black 🇺🇸 History!!
Go find your own.
I never knew this. Such a cool piece of history. Hope he got extra pay for this.
Awesome!!!
Thank you sir
Cut the check. Reparations are due. You welcome America.
I'm sure he got all the credit for this 😂😂😂 thanks those kind of people 😂
We make history and he is a true genius
Absolutely taught my kids this 10 years ago**
Mr Crums creation came from a complaint. I didn't know that but I believe it. Hope I made him tons of money also.
And he didn't need to add toxic chemicals to the chips. Only seasoning.
Thank you for this❤
You're welcome 😊
thank you so much, always wondered how they got made. My favorite snack.
You're welcome 🙂
Thank u 💓
The Potato Chip Inventor
Yes I heard about this before.
Thanks for the information
You're welcome 🙂
He has my birthday 🎂 ❤❤❤ thanks for history lesson Mr. Crum we still eat your chips😊
You're welcome.
Well that would explain my obsession with potato chips 😂😂😂 made by my ancestors 😂😂😂
We did Everything!! Smart. Intelligent 🧠 all of that and bag of chips 🍟 👠👠👗🪑
I never knew a black man created the potato chip, wow how interesting.
Love it🎉😊
A marvelous, tasty, product from this man. I certainly hope he obtained a patent, and certainly monetary compensation.
No patent but he is recognized as the creator.
Oceans of blessings y'all
And I bet he never got fully compensated for his invention
I thought some man named Pringle invented potato chips. My bad.
Good to know history
Somebody please tell me how was this luck? One second the customer is saying they don’t like the thick cut potato, and the next second he slicing up potatoes 🥔 to make potato chips 😏 is obvious that he was thinking of this already.
True fact. Wow.
Black people are great inventers
I never new that but I no now.Mr crum
Important to note. A patent is ‘almost’ the only way to, own an invention. Talk to Lewis Lattimore. So, a machine, process, could legally, do that yet, anyone could replicate it as well.🙏🏾
You're absolutely right.
Why am I only now learning this?
...because it's not totally true
🙌🏾💖🙌🏾
Why isn't there a brand called Crum's Chips?
My oh my we invented crisps 📖🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Wow, very intelligent ❤
First time reading this!!!
They don't want us with anything 😮 we got to come to our senses ❤
