Tomato ketchup for french fries. ✊
Oooohhhhh that’s just absolutely beautiful!!! 💗💗💗
I believe Filipino food is one of my favorite Asian cuisines…I’m SSSOOOO happy I discovered your page when I was specifically looking for a recipe for banana ketchup! Thank you for sharing your culture with us!!! Much love and appreciation!!!
One of the reasons why I love being a Filipino. I worship banana ketchup!!!
Too good!
Me too! Hahaha
I never imagined I'll ever learn how to make banana catsup
Lol, surprise!
Why
My Australian Head Chef here in Adelaide, South Australia asked me on how to make the banana ketchup since he was curious about the taste. Since I am the only Asian/Filipina who worked inside the kitchen, I was asked a week ago and I am lucky and happy to see your video. I will show him this and we will try to make one. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
I just love how this channel has become. 💯
On behalf of all the banana ketchup lovers out there, thank you for this, good sir. God bless you.
Wow, definitely didn’t expect that color at the end! Awesome!
We were all just waiting for it to turn red. Lol!
its food coloring added
I live in eastern Washington State and I would do almost anything if someone opened up a Filipino restaurant. So amazingly delicious and it fills the soul!
Living in Canada, coming across UFC Banana Ketchup is like the highlight of our grocery shopping day. Can't beat Filipino ketchup ❤️
I enjoy the passion and words John shares - so true about how we tend to think of other foods, and leave Filipino food at home! Our food is actually bomb AF
I have just returned from a two week engine overhaul on a container vessel where most of the crew were guys from Philippines.
I fell in love with banana sauce. I just had to search for "how to make one at home" because you can't really get that stuff in Poland, and I fell in love 😂.
Going to make it today
'Patis makes the world go round' HAHAHAHAH
😂😂
I think I have to agree! Hehehe
He's not wrong.
I love the friends you’re making and introducing to the world! Thanks for the banana ketchup recipe and for the Filipino pride shout out!
Thanks for this recipe. I tried to find a b-ketchup recipe with certain flavours from U-Tube and this looked, sounded and tasted the one that could give just right flavour to my Pinoy BBQ. I got into Filippino food also the best BBQ ever during couple of months visit in some Citys and a rural village in Philippines. So thanks for the recipe. My kids also loved my long grilled, home made Filipino BBQ.
OMG THIS IS GOLDEN. BEST FEATR VIDEO EVER!!!
This video is amazing! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Thank you for sharing, it reminds me of how my mom is doing it when I was growing up without the blender 😊
My grandmother lived in the Philippines in the 60s. I wish she was alive to ask her more but she said out of all the places she's been in the world, Cuba and the Philippines had the most interesting dishes.
"Patis makes the world go 'round." --ohhhh yesh!!!
Paused after 10sec. Sodium Benzoate is a food preservative and it is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by experts.
I like your ease with the recipe and more explanation into your culture.TY!!
Great vid! Loved the commentary on exploring the richness of Filipino cuisine. Definitely trying this one, and looking forward to more vids elevating familiar Filipino dishes like this.

"Patis makes the world go round"... It's the essence of the sea- 70% of the earth's surface after all.
I really do appreciate and enjoy your editorializing - it gives more depth and insight into the importance and pride of self-discovery through one's native cuisine.
This is amazing. I also thought most thing's came in packets. My Lola or tita would cook when we used to live in Philippines and I never got to learn anything. I love Filipino food. So thank you for this video and the channel now focusing on our culture 💕
G’day from QLD 👋🏽 never heard or seen Banana Ketchup, I’m going to make a Pork Spare Rib recipe & it requires it, so instead of searching to purchase I love searching homemade sauces ect. @@lutongpinoy4602 thanks, it wasn't there before :)
Looks good. Will probably use that more vs the bottled ones, but I just dont see myself going through all that process for something I use once a day max for 2-3tbps per use.
Like banana catsup most of the time. Great content!
Thanks for this! Gonna try to use it as a sauce for Poor Man's Burnt Ends.

Cool! We can do our own version now
Lovely tutorial... Subbing
I grew up with banana ketchup, and not actually a fan. It only becomes yummy for me when with tortang talong 😅 I guess if I make my own banana ketchup and know what's in it, I'll appreciate it more ❤️
Also, I've always wondered why a bottled banana ketchup is red. At least now this recipe explains why 🤣
Let us know if you make one you like!
@@featrmedia definitely will! I just have to buy the ingredients on sweldo day 🤣
It's the ketchup I use for egg "burger". For everything else, tomato ketchup
Thanks for this video. I love banana ketchup but don’t like the current selections from stores because of the preservatives.
This is cool! I'd love to try this at home. By the way, the shelf life? Thanks.
