Some good, cheap fun this old 5-Series is. Once again, good as always seeing you & your friends there getting these vehicles going again & taking them for a little drive there, or even attempting to get them going is good to see. Do like seeing an old diesel going again as well, this one indeed made some noise too.

Is that 525 TD a Turbo Diesel, it sounded like a regular 6 cylinder engine,(gasoline), minus the manifold, since you have some E-34s you could make that wagon, look awesome,waiting to see that wagon, all fixed up.
@nikola kurjakovic would be a bunch of work. i can´t imagine he´s gonna do this either, but at least he saved a great engine. the old M51 was one of the best Diesels ever made for the late 80s and 90s BMW aera, but it seems to have only a few real fans since a 143 PS Diesel engine in a flag ship like an e39 was not very fast. Young BMW drivers who only can afford the oled models do not respect the value of an old reliable piece of art like the M51 due the fact it´s slow...it has to be a power house, otherwhise it´s worthless,anayway they often can´t even afford the avarage repair costs of a "slow" model. :-D
