It doesn't get much better than this. I love his styling and he remains true to the original American boogie woogie while improvising and adding his own flavor. He was an excellent choice of performer. Love his selections.
I love his slower rock-solid tempos. Granted, it is not what I'm used to, but it produced a very amazing effect particularly in the Albert Ammons piece. I noticed this also in his own composition which followed the Ammons.
I was about to donate $10 but I have problems with my PayPal account that can only be resolved by the intervention of corporate headquarters in New York City. Because I can use Venmo or Google, even Amazon I chose not to donate at this time.
