I have been using this weapon and loving it. I did switch to the starfist vs messmar bc he is hard. Stubbled into him earlier than I probably should but decided to stick with him for an hour or so and finally got it. The first boss that really cause me trouble in the dlc.
Got this immediately at the start and wore the armor and used this sword for every boss but 2: Bayle and Consort. Absolutely loved it. It paired perfectly with the deflect tear.
You can grab the two headed green turtle talisman almost right away. Its an upgrade on the green turtle talisman. Two Handed Sword Talisman goes hard too for this weapon
Honestly i don't remember off the top of my head because I'm not as familiar with the DLC area as I am with the base game yet. But I did some exploring and found it shortly after beating the Divine Beast
Since you arent using the Dragoncrest Greatshield, I recommended slotting the incantation "Black Flame's Protection" to give physical damage negation Even with the full Solitude Armor set at 96 poise and 55 Endurance the enemies in the dlc will still chew through your health bar. Another good talisman option is the Crusade Insignia because it raises your attack power after every enemy you defeat. Or the Taker's Cameo to constantly keep your health up, Rykard's Great Rune stacks with this as well. Using the Sacrificial Axe in your off hand gives back fp with every defeated enemy, there is alot of potential in this build... 👍🏼
So it seems like you are suggesting another build entirely. Black flame protection is a high faith cost I believe. Crusade talisman is great but only works well with mobs not bosses😕 But yes going farther into the dlc the dragon crest is a great option lol those bosses are rough

I didn't mean to suggest another build entirely, merely how to optimize this one as you move on to late game and end game enemies
Also. Not to bombard you with comments, though im sure that fine for the algorithm, you can craft a consumable Golden Vow now. So you dont need 25 faith.

Weapon Art is like a combo of Vacuum Slice and Spinning Slash. I'm loving some of these DLC weapons. VERY MINOR GEAR SPOILERS!!! There's an upgraded Turtle Talisman and a sweet Stamina Crystal Tear for Physick Flask in the DLC.
@@pastorgainzgames the big walking furnace enemy by the first Cerulean Coast Grace(Field of Blue Flowers). That's where the Viridian Crystal Tear is, that enemy will drop it upon defeat. The Turtle Talisman is down in a valley, close to the pond/lake on that first map fragment. Ellac River Cave is the Grace really close to it. There's a massive crab right where the Talisman is. It's kind of hidden, if you explore that river and find that crab, theres a waterfall, behind it, close by a bunch of those glowing worm guys that turn red and the Talisman will be on the ground by them.
if you're still struggling, use a dual wield jump attack build (stagger and big damage per hit) and only attack at the very end of combos (end of his arrow attack, when he spawns in, after the ash of of war moves) and you should be good.
Would love to see a Milady build, been using it and it's mega fun to use, but the damage seems pretty low compared to a lot of the other weapons, so might be my build.
What does "strength of 7" translate to IRL? It'd be fun to study this question for all stats, based on in-game evidence of what each increment of each stat enables.

I mean, if the game says your build (i.e your character) currently has a strength stat of 7, what does that seem to compare to in terms of real-life human strength, for example how much can you bench press, how many toddlers can you lift in the air at once (you would know) , etcetera. And the same question can be asked of other stats. How much stamina does it take to raise 4 kids? How much poise to handle ALL FOUR of them asking why the sky is blue and then arguing with you about your answer? How much arcane to know which one stole the candy? Etc.
@@comradebork According to the zweihander description, most of ordinary strength struggle to two hand it. It has a req of 19, and with two handing it, you only need 13 strength. That means the average strength, at least in the elden ring universe, would be anywhere from 10-13. Using the same idea from the greatsword’s description, 21 strength is inhumane strength. So 10-13 is probably your average guy, with 14-20 probably being people that lift and or are genetically gifted etc. So we are really really strong at 99 strength. Like demigod level at that point
From what I understand, the follow-up on the art is not affected by the Axe Talisman. Does this affect wanting to use that talisman or are basic heavy attacks used enough to warrant it? I’m using Erdtree +2, Shard of Alexander, Filigreed, and Dragon Greatshield.
You could lower strength down to 66, 60, or even 54 and lose a bit over 100 damage (if you chose 54) and put it into endurance or other stats. You could also do 60 vigor instead of 75. My stats at level 200 are: 60 vigor 21 mind 60 endurance 70 strength 20 dexterity 11 intelligence 25 faith 8 arcane thats 275 total which I’m not sure how that works but I started out with samurai. Assuming i start off with like 10 in each at level 0 these are maybe good stats: 60 vigor 21 mind 56 endurance (you need this if youre doing full solitude set otherwise do like 30 and put rest into strength or maybe faith or smth) 56 strength 20 dexterity 10 intelligence (dont add any, i only did to try out anvil hammer) 25 faith 10 arcane (none added) Not exactly sure how leveling works in this game, if 150 isnt enough for that you could lower faith or endurance if you dont need the high equip load stat. You also could decide to not level mind as much but 21 gets you 10 L2 uses so its nice
@@pastorgainzgames the first time I hit L2 I was blown away how far I lunged and how quick it was. Then that AOE burst is nutty. It has the crouching poke and scales with arcane as well so it fits perfect with my strength arcane build

Use this with the deflecting hard tear in your physick, to sekiro deflect and annihilate any enemy lol Lasts 5 minutes. Time your blocking to deflect like sekiro. Does heavy posture damage. Each successful deflect increases your next guard counter damage by 20% stacking to 80% On a successful deflect, you take 0 damage. Works great even with... daggers lol...

U are correct I was using axe talisman to bolster the heavy charger r2 i usually play greatswords that way
I think its more worth it to have two handed talisman which gives +15% to all attacks on the weapon (except the weapon art not sure)

I am having a really hard time figuring out how you got those stats at level 150. I have a 153 and couldnt get close to those allocation of stats
He has godrick's great rune active getting +5 to all stats. Or so I believe
Godricks rune buffs a few stats and I had it active for most of the video

Currently running dlc on ng+6 and it's diabolical, strength build seems to be helping a bit

Because u don’t have scadootree fragments. It gains damage in the dlc as u get those. If u take it out of dlc it does well
