Five Best Day Trips from Nice

These are suggestions of towns and villages to explore from Nice. This in order of their distance rather than preference. No favourites...they are all lovely places in their own rights. All places can be reached by trains and buses. Transportation in France is pretty reliable so we did not hire a car.
From the seaside towns of Villefranche and Menton to hilltop village of Eze and posh Cap Ferrat and Monaco these day trips are surely worth the venture from Nice! The trick is to research the area and choose which activity, museum or restaurant to go to so you maximise your day. Have fun!!
