      @joshleenall Před 3 lety +1

      @@AxemanMessiah Yeah it does it, but it doesn't really bother me because I never get very loud anyways. It's great for me practicing in my room.

      @@joshleenall Nice! It looks like a great upgrade then. For some reason mine rattles even at normal bedroom levels with some FX. I tried a Katana Mini and no rattle issue even on higher volumes, I am guessing it is the cabinet size, not enough space to move the low frequencies from the speaker.

    Dave.Your video of this amp is awesome.I never heard about this thing. At this day. After watching your video , I watched another videos from another youtubers, but never was buy this amp, if not seen you video.With camera microfon, at room situation You get very professional sounds from this thing.You are awesome and I believe you because you test objectively, impartially.Thanks for your channel.(Sorry for my English:) )This amp probably the best all in one thing.Is ultra portable, no need cable.Is light, sound is good, has enough good sounding effects, no need battery, is full wireless, is a stereo bt speaker, the price is acceptable.Obviously a Spark or a Roland or a Wox sounds better, but how big is? Not full wireless and the price is highest. So for me this amp is the greatest for quick and easy practice , anywhere , for listening music anywhere without cables and without replacement of power and battery.Thank You for your work,you help people a lot.👍🏻You are great.

    I bought this 2 months ago, I agree with you and I think it's amazing! It has a lot of functionality, but not all of it sounds good in terms of amps (for me there's one decent in every category). As a beginner I had a bit of trouble getting to know the amps, EQ and effects because I just didn't know anything about how they work. However, once you spend some time to get to know the functionality and find 3 tones that you like you can finally focus on the thing that actually improves your tone - learning how to play properly.

    The speaker fizz is because small speakers can't handle the power of the amp and starts to distort but not in a good way like real guitar speakers do. Also the power section of the amp that was designed to work on battery power is clipping because of the technical limitations of the ICs used for the power amp. Many battery powered bluetooth speakers will act like this when pushed hard.

      It's perfect for me.
      I can also plug in headphones so no-one else can hear me practice. The volume is great and it sounds brilliant for such a small amp. The only wires around are those of my headphones, if I'm using them.
      With all of the different sounds available it's far easier to play and sound like the music you are trying to emulate.

    @dave
    I hope you are reading this, concerning your volume fuzzing problem: it's normal and happens to my mighty air as well. But there has been a firmware update in August, that fixed the volume slider, making the overall output lower. Before the speakers started to fuzz at really low slider settings (Ike 1/4 or 1/3).now the volume has been adjusted and the fuzzing starts in the upper quarter.
    Secondly, there used to be bugs with the pedals section before the firmware update. Some pedals like the rat and the Muff where just another 3-band eq. After the update everything works as intended and I loooove the rat distortion on this amp!
    I've had it since August and it is just as good as you advertise! I can play pretty much everything on this amp and can nail every sound from Pink Floyd over Led Zep, AC DC, Muse to Metallica. I too love the JZ120 teamed wit the JZ120 cabinet and the 3 band eq you get such amazingly clear and sparkling strat tones...
    And the best thing: no wires! Just chilling on the couch, I even pay laying down now for extra chill points. I wonder why this amp is not more popular and gets more coverage here on YT.

    I've got one and it sounds brilliant, but it does do the farty thing if you crank it. Try the line out into a beefy hifi and it sounds amazing.

    Definitely grabbing one of these. I have the Katana 50 and love it but this is too good to pass up!

    Man ... that sounds nice! But you can make a cardboard box sound good dude!
    I almost bought one of the NUX mini amps for my brother as a surprise 50th birthday gift when he was visiting family in Hungary and to catch his favorite band, Slayer, live in Budapest... but ended up getting him the Laney Mini amp instead... he loved it... along with the Harley Benton shredder guitar I got him...all from Thomann delivered to him in Hungary at our relative's. What a cool little amp that is!

    I have the NUX Mighty Lite BT which is similar but less features. It sounds SO GOOD! I come up with a new song idea every time I fire it up :)

    Dear Nux people ...when Dave says the App is "stupid"....it's short for ''stupidly good....i.e....it's excellent". Just so you know..;)

    This sounds like a fantastic amp! Very well worth considering the size, wireless, and features. I have the original Mighty Lite and this improves on it a lot, but decided to skip it. Still has the same rattling cabinet as the original, no way to save more than 3 presets (that too only 1 clean, crunch, dirty, acoustic), and same volume (no biggie). Was hoping this would be my main amp (live in apartment), but kept the original and got a THR10ii. The THR's cabinet and 3 inch speakers handle bass much better with fuller sound, 5 presets (and unlimited in the app), tuner, and other features that make it a more practical main amp. I use it as a bluetooth speaker/studio monitor too, so it was important it can handle bass frequencies well (no rattling). It's definitely not perfect either, but as close as it gets IMO. I know the Nux was not intended to be a main amp, but a lot of us tend to use it as one. Thanks for the super review Dave :)

    Wow, so many great sounds. This little thing just might do the trick for me. It’s interesting how similar the construction looks like that of the Fly. Same factory maybe? Yes, I too have been annoyed with the Fly. A major disappointment. It sounds like a cheap little plastic box, which it is of course, but I was thinking they had managed to put in some digital magic. Nope. And, you’re right, why the delay instead of reverb? Blah. Luckily, the Nux sounds like a different beast entirely. And so versatile. Thanks for the great demo!

    Wow! A very cool apparatus indeed! I would definitely invest in one if i was still traveling. Who am i kidding? I love new toys and will probably convince myself that i need one.
