I kinda wish the lore went over more of the actual mythology rather than Smite's ongoing storyline. Having a section for each would be cool
If you want to know the actual mythology then you can easily find videos on CZcams or articles on google that have it
They use to. If you look at any of the older gods lores they told you about their origins. That was when they cared about the history and game equally, now they only care about the game and how they can milk it

In all honesty, Lore Lady's voiceover would make more sense if it was paired with the old style of animation, such as with tapestries. It would fit a lot better than instead of having their cinematic being voiced over.
Plus the trailer is way too loud to enjoy Lore Lady's awesome voice

I mean he was always at the time a mage just called a guardian 90% of people didn't build him to be a guard and if you did well hard pill to swallow he was useless as guard about the only thing good for guarding purposes is his two cause it puts up a fear if his ult does trash damage its not something to even worry about especially when not including beads cc immune abilities and other ults decent bit of gods can just dash out of it as a mage he can burst you down before you have a chance to react n if you do get out most likely hurt enough to make a difference

Originally she was supposed to be a guardian but to make her do dmg as guardian her power scaling would have to be 100% +
And with so many abilities everyone would go her as mage and with crazy guardian scaling she would be the most broken god of all time probably
So they made her a mage so that they could lower the scaling on abilities
Henceforth making her more balanced damage wise

Tbh they should fill the Pantheons instead of adding new ones. The Polynesian, Voodoo, Celtic, Slawic, Yoruba and Arthurian Pantheon aren't filled at all.

tbh it's cool to see all these pantheons but titan forge should take a year off of introducing a new one and focus on adding gods to some of these pantheons that have 1 or 2 gods.
What about the Sioux gods like Heyoka, Iktomi, Wakiyan etc...

They do it for Balance reasons. Too big people will see her as a bigger target and attack her instead of a guardian. And it'd be easier since the hit boxes needs to match the size.

I'm new to Smite as a player, only joined a couple days ago. Though I've seen my brother play it quite a bit.
I've been fascinated with Tiamat since reading about her a decade ago, and this new interpretation intrigues me.
Edit: Actually, as far as kit goes, she reminds me of Greymane over in Heroes of the Storm; similar style of shifting between ranged and melee, though Tia differs in that her ult changes based on form, rather than picking between two different ones, and she deals damage on shifting to ranged that Greymane didn't.
Beautiful. This game never siezes to impress me.

I saw Tiamat and thought the DnD version, the 5 headed goddess/queen of chromatic dragons, could be a cool crossover. Tiamat, Vecna or even Tharzidun the chained oblivion

Oberon and Titania are not from Celtic Mythology. They're characters from Shakespeare's plays and were largely inspired by Greek and French mythology.
