Building a Gaming Shelf Start to Finish

- For this build, the client was a fan of video games and cosplay, so they wanted a shelf that had an artistic flair for displaying their figurines and other memorabilia. So I devised this shelf idea with different-sized shelves and a segmented ring as an accent.
The shelf is made from walnut and accented with holy.

I’m overwhelmed by the beauty of this, and the matching desk. I want these so badly that I can almost taste it. That circle (and the walnut) just sends me to the moon!

I'm just guessing I have no clue but it looks it would come from a vikings time period so I'd say game of thrones crazy since I've never seen one episode... but I to like the time period.. it's very nice definitely a gem

Thanks man, I do have some more videos on their way. I have pulled back from CZcams a bit. After 8 or so years of time invested and not realizing my goals, I have decided to dedicate more of my time to other projects off CZcams. I still plan on posting, just at a more leisurely pace.

It was great to see you using your planner correctly , as you quite often see people pushing the wood over the cutter block area where I have known for the wood to kick back, and Johan disappears down and the block, I have first met somebody that done this back in 1977/8,
I still have most of my tools and equipment, my planner and thickness separates are made by SCM .

How many hours does it take to build these segmented shelves? Just thinking about each half lap has me thinking this takes a long time to build. I'm sure you can do all this way faster than me, but there still has to be a lot of back forth on the fitment of each curved half lap. This seems like something that non-woodworkers wouldn't understand the effort it takes for it all.
