  • Here is day two of my day back to Bristol Temple meads, Today was an emotional day the Special excursion 1Z48 coming back from Plymouth.
It was so amazing the sound of a Castle and to have something Great Western in Bristol Temple meads GWR Territory the Bark sound and whistles 7029 Clun Castle the Headboard, Headcode was looking immaculate condition and iconic and she’s one of my favourite GWR locos but I like all locomotives.
    Enjoy!
History: Z48 was a Railtour that ran from London Paddington to Plymouth in 1964 when two different castle class locos each way 5054 Earl Of Ducie took the tour down first day and then 7029 took it back to London Ian Allan was a English railway publisher established in 1942.
