I completely agree with you and I'm a little bit frustrated that there is so little attention brought to this issue right now (or at least I'm having trouble finding it). I've also been watching a looooot of reaction videos, so maybe that's why I'm frustrated - maybe just by how little many of the people cared about this aspect, or just didn't comment on it. Also, as a genderqueer person, the thing that bothered me, (maybe even more because I'm a fan of Kendrick) - was using femininity or 'incorrect' or 'insufficient' performance of masculinity as an insult, and even framing it as a *severe* moral failing (among several instances of more jokingly said digs - the serious emotion behind "Can't channel your masculine even when standing next to a woman"). I hate how almost no one is talking about it, and how Kendrick unfortunately enforced this in a lot of people's minds in such a big moment in Hip-hop and popular culture history :(
