In this video, I show you how to install Prime OS " A Fork of Android X86 on a laptop or Desktop PC.
This is not a dual boot tutorial so you will need another drive to install this OS to or you can search around online for a Dual boot tutorial.

I swear, this was literally the quickest primeOS installation tutorial I've ever seen! All the other ones take about a few hours to download, while this one just takes roughly 10 minutes! Guess who has a new subscriber!

I actually tried to install this earlier today but the only issue I had was I hadn't looked up my CPU production date so it would boot to the installer. I'll give it another try. I love these alternative operating system videos. It's fun to check out different OS options. Great stuff.
Threw a empty SSD into my old 2006 Dell that's been sitting around and it works great! I can even sideload apk files. I tried about 3 other Androidx86 installs and none of them worked. This one is pretty awesome even though it isn't the latest Android...it works great. Thanks for this video!!
Thanks for the clear and easy to understand tutorial! (I managed to install it on a SSD and connect it to my old Dell Vostro 1700. And it runs, but forget about 3d games I might try some 2D rpgs, though... It claimed my drive is corrupt but it still seems to use it perfectly fine.)

I have installed on an extra partition on a laptop sharing with Windows 7.
Is there a way to configure grub in order to change the default OS to boot to be Win7 instead of PrimeOS? Wife does not know what to do in PrimeOS.

Hey bro i have prime os on laptop . When i attach it with using HDMI then picture won't show on TV . Just on booting it Shows dos black and white text then BLack Screen .

I am trying to install it on a Vmware VMPlayer Virtual Machine.
The Live CD run fine is VESA mode but the install does not offer that option

Hey I have Samsung Flash and made it to partition screen and the samsung bios wont le me choose the partition!! I already turn off FastBoot and Security Boot ! Ever Live boot of Prime OS this lovely bios wont let me do it!!!! Help

Hi I installed prime on a toshiba laptop running win 10. It is running great. The laptop didn't have Bluetooth and I was using a dongle when it was still windows. With prime it doesn't work. Any suggestions? Also I can't enable extensions from chrome
Have you had a problem installing extensions on chrome. Every time I tried it tells me to install chrome. Which of course it by is default I have prime installed on a HP laptop that was running Win 10

Hi, I followed the instructions of the video but when trying to install appears the following error message:
"Android-X86 installer is not avaiable.
Press RETURN to run live version."

I had issues witht his, it won't work unless I boot with the hardware acceleration off, I have so sound as I have a sound card and can't find options to change sound output and resolution, any idea?

I have a small problem. It doesnt seem like the USB installer notices that my harddrive exists, therefore it wants to install it on said USB drive. Idk if I did something wrong or if I need to replace the harddrive all together.
I tried standard Wi-Fi didn't work
now I'm trying mainline the auto installer erased the the old os then the installation just stopped blank blue screen

i did exactly as shown onto a wiped m.2 in a hp t520. installed fine except it won't boot as the install did not create a boot file. any suggestions please.
If I only had a spare PC to work with. Otherwise, I use Bluestacks with pretty good results and it runs on top of Window's. Perhaps if I upgrade my system, I'll give this a try. Also, maybe I missed it, but are the machines you are running the system having dedicated graphic cards or relying on the chip graphics?
help i messed up with putting value in it i did it with dual boot but only one thing i mistook is the value i input is just 1 gb i wanted input 50 gb!! how do i redo it i cant please help

So for I've tried phoenix and bliss os and for some reason I keep running into this problem where there absolutely no sound! I read somewhere that I'll have to somehow manually enable sound through hdmi but I have no idea how to do that! Going to try Prime os now. Hope I have better luck...
I did this install on a Minix Z83-4 with Intell graphics. Unfortunately no option to boot from Prime OS shows in the BIOS itself but it does shows in the boot options screen.
I tried to install classic prime x32 on my AMD 7550 dual core and it wont work because it does not see the main HDD0 to install even after I choose the install to specified hard disk

What's the GPU support like for PrimeOS? I would imagine that if you are booting into Android or Linux that AMD cards are going to have better support than nVidia since the Linux drivers for nVidia are hot garbage, but I could easily be wrong so some clarification would be greatly appreciated since I'm interested in making a setup like this. Being able to turn an old computer into something similar to an nVidia Shield TV would be dope and I would imagine it could end up being much faster than the integrated CPU/GPU in an nVidia Shield TV.
Can you tell me how to save it because everytime I close it down it rests and I have to do it all over again all the apps gets deleted and I have create and set up my google account each time.

Tried PrimeOS 0.4.5 Mainline on my TMAX Windows 10 tablet with an X5 Z8300. The live USB version refuses to boot, using Rufus and either BIOS or GPT scheme, the boot process crashes with an Emergency remount I/O error

Tried this on my old Toshiba Satellite A105-s2051 (1997). I chose classic but the laptop claimed that flash was a 64, so nothing happened. Was wondering, should I simply format the HDD and then give it a go? Or is there something in the bios that would also stop me? I would really like to try Prime OS on this laptop, it's in pristine condition. Thanks for any ideas.
