Amazing as always, but this should have been a Renault Trucks tuning pack and included the Renault Magnum and Premium. I love using the Premium and it needs some love!
I think they didn’t go that way because Magnum and Premium have old 3D models and it couldn’t have made sense for SCS to make new tuning parts for the legacy 3D assets without completely reworking them
@@JMSBRK I mean scania R 2009 is the oldest model in the game.
@@JMSBRK Didn't stop them for the Scania R 2009 and Streamline, the Mercedes Benz Actros MP3, the Volvo FH Classic or the DAF XF105. And the Renault's have aged much better than the Iveco Stralis or DAF XF105 models.
It also has to be noted that this pack is the same price as the other brand tuning packs in the game, despite the fact the others all support all brand models. Which is four separate vehicles in the Scania lineup. This could at least have been cheaper to represent the lower number of options.
I love SCS, I have bought this just as I own literally every other DLC for both ETS2 and ATS (even all the paintjob packs!). I have completed every World of Trucks event up to this point as well. But this is not the normal value or fan service I've come to expect from an SCS release. And as a fan, I will be critical of that fact. Choice is the best thing about this game, we shouldn't be pigeon holes into newer trucks for decorations.
@@thinskin I mean you’re right I do also agree with you but also consider this pack has been on the pipeline for 1+ years. At this time they been working on new lighting system, new unreleased dlc, Austria rework etc. while doing this all the employees working at home because covid happened & most likely the team tasked with the pack might be smaller in compare of others. So in that case we’re lucky to have a Renault pack in this year. Still, it’s always an option to update and revisit the tuning pack 😉
@@JMSBRK Actually I don't think it was Covid that caused this. After all, this would have been in the works when SCS and Renault teamed up to get the Range T Evolution into the game at launch. I reckon Renault might have put on a little pressure here to keep the spotlight on their latest product.
Anyway, SCS are well known and respected here (at least I respect them) for taking the time to get the best content out they can. I appreciate the difficulty of Covid though. I just think if more content was in the pipeline for the older Renaults, they would have said so.
I also thought the map teams doing the major DLC expansions and the reworks are separate from the modelling teams for the vehicles? Like, weren't some promods guys helping with the refreshes?

Probably because Magnum and Premium are now old trucks and they are not "updated" anymore in real life. Moreover, Renault T is a new remade truck with the Evolution edition so it is more interesting to upgrade this truck (both in real life and in game) than Magnum and Premium which are almost forgotten trucks

@@ferdinand_sim what about the good old MAN TGX Euro 5 still one of the best looking truck with no adblue so more fuel and the suspension of the truck is crazy and the sound its an earthquake xD
@@ferdinand_sim In TruckersMP it is hard to find someone driving a Premium or a Magnum so yeah. People just rather newer trucks.
really hoping that they or release a seperate pack for the older models or update it so that you have the magnum and premium added. the magnum is my fav truck so fingers crossed!
You can save edit your magnum truck with this new renualt pack it is works
@@michaelprox1172 but the renaukt magnum and premium dont have all the slots (like s_guard cant go onto magnum, because there is no slot), so it will never be like on the T. And some parts may be dislocated/dont fit on the trucks. (I save edit as well, i am not a proffessional editer though)
was actually thinking the same. in fairness, i’ve always preferred the older trucks (premium & magnum) and would love more tuning parts for them.

Yes! My favorite is actually Mercedes (I have a new Actros 6x4 in ETS2), but I have been thinking for a long time that SCS has needed to make an MAN tuning pack.

Cool, I was hoping that the Renault Tuning Pack isn't just restricted to the T line, but the entire Renault Truck range. It's always good to have new Tuning DLCs and I hope they come soon from other brands. I liked the news and hope you don't abandon the addition of the Magnum and Premium models.

There is no even minimum update of magnum and premium, and it's really sad. In fact, pack for only one truck. Not good enough for community and for me as a magnum lover, keep waiting for older models' update.

Tem um bug na grade do renault T, no segundo 0.43 no primeiro frame da frente, entre a grade e o farol. aparece o fundo do jogo (céu/ambiente).
É assim msm ,tem um defletor de ar por cima da lateral do farol

@@mattiazephyrum2263 indeed, first of all XF106 has very little tuning opposed to 105 and there was no painted rear fenders for all trucks, also new genereation XF, XG & XG+ needs the same treatment too

Guys, said this before, bring colored bars to other dlc’s too, and you seemed to listen to my last comment about bringing tires to the trailers, you onky selected the ugly ones, I am so so so thankful for you guys listening to the community, and I love it. I just want the text and no extra lines. Multiple others would surely like that as well, not only that but colored grills and roof bars would look so good and much more nice than it does now, we paid in real life money for it, so some tinkering with fixing a coloring mechanism can’t be that hard for a company working with games. Not only that but reduce the chrome in general. People download mods or save edit to get what they want, they shouldn’t have to mess with the code or download mods for it. Mods should be other trucks, sound mods or a graphic mod, maybe some accesories but there is no colored bars. Same with scania, get it the 770hp engine, that should not be hard at all. Modders should not have to fix something like that. As I said mods are more for, ex. a colored bar that you guys can’t or don’t want to get licensed. But how it is rn, it’s so much focused on chrome. I and many more in this community would be really thankful for a little bit more focused on colored pieces. We do not need more map updates all the time, except a lot would maybe enjoy the surroundings more if they had a cool looking truck that they could take screenshots of. If you read this I am super thankful for that, and I hope this could maybe be an idea for the future, a big update with customization would be really appriciated! Thanks and #bestcommunity

Hi tryed renault custom parts very nice thanks every thing ok I've seen so far. Moved to Istanbul via quick travel with new daf xg got to Merc dealer gate beacon flashes but gate does not open having to quick travel somewhere else near. Plus in daf xg chassis config carnt see wheels or tyres on chassis when choosing config in daf dealer.

You guys know that American Truck Tunings community is also huge like the Volvo's or the Scania trucks.
Long frame with sleeper cab, dropped frames, huge exhaust hood accessories and so on.
All American trucks need the tunings

Когда уже новые шторы в салон добавлять начнут? В каждом паке эта синяя штора с рынка, логотип только разный. Такое ощущение, что у скс фантазия отсутствует
Вообще бы дали возможность логотипы компаний ставить на шторы и др прицепы не только красить. А еще бы добавили алфавит, что бы можно было писать на трейлере и траке.

Many bugs on 1.44 version to me. I can't access the maps to travel. It's impossible to play!
I have also had buggy behaviour on one of my mod free profiles I use to try out new base content. Trying to change the rear lights and tank on trucks already in my fleet causes game crashes. Between the lack of older trucks and the stability, this is proving a poor tuning pack...
уж лучше бы они обновили старые грузовики, чем тюнинговать новые. Renault T не требует улучшений. А на Магнум и Премиум смотреть жалко
I advise you to remove your CZcams profile picture because you will be banned from copyright, and put a foreign logo on the SCS company. But I agree with you about the dlc, I think there will be a free update of the dlc in the future .
