Wamala .Birigwa case of the ex was NOT written by mya ,the song was written by Mr hale and Mr Stewart and had a separate producer, Mya was solely the singer of someone's song ,because in the music business, mya doesn't get paid when you hear case of the ex played ,Mr hale and Stewart keep that coin ,case of the ex was more a song of interscope records than "MYA".they would have mentioned case, if mya would have requested it, but mya knows she's not getting royalties off it ,so why make others money.

Her and Aaliyah has both always had good down to earth energy and vibes about them. Like you almost know them personally cause of they're openness and honesty about who they are as an artist. Unlike some female artist you don't really get a fell of who they are cause they seem so plaster and superficial and secretive , placed up on high pedestals to the point where they placed so high that other celebrities have to "sign disclosures" to party with them or to even be next to them. MYA and Aaliyah all day everyday I prefer real down to earthness and relatable artist. Great interview MYA. She always had that urban Ness about her music back in Mya 98, 2000 fear of flying and 2003 MOODRING. All three of those album's I bump of hers all the time along with Age ain't nothing but a number, One in a million and Aaliyah 2001. She definitely didn't let Jay-Z get the Best of her.
