- Hello Friends! Welcome to MechStudies! Today we are going to learn, Centrifugal Pump! We have nicely explained the working philosophy of centrifugal pump. I am sure if you complete the video, you can easily understood the animation and clear the full concept. Lets delve in!
www.mechstudies.com/centrifug...
mainly, we will cover-
Basics,
Work done,
Pump head,
and Efficiency!
We have already learned about the basics of the pump! It is already clear that the pump is required to transfer fluids from one place to another! Here, a centrifugal pump is used to transfer fluids! The definition of centrifugal pump, basic principle, working procedures, how the centrifugal impeller works with centrifugal force, types, various applications etc. have been well captured.
At the last, the most important parameters of centrifugal pump like work done, pump head, efficiency have been well explained with animation to make you better understood.
Hope, you will find the video helpful. Any doubt, please comment for make better content. Thanks

Remarkable achievement
Thank you so much 😊
How many meters can absorb the water in down in pipe
If you are somehow able to create a perfect vacuum, you can only lift a column of water 32.8 feet (9.997 meters) at sea level due to the atmospheric pressure that exists there.
Not sure if you looking for the same, thanks a lot for visiting us
Nice video for me
Thank you so much, stay blessed
What animation u r using? Thanks
It’s a combination of adobe after effects, photoshop, SOLIDWORKS (if 3D), premier PRO (for editing) thanks
The music is distracting! Who's bright idea was this?
It was our initial video and didn’t know about background music… thought it will help but…… thanks for pointing it out..stay blessed
What is the use of balancing disc and function of balancing disc
Thank you so much dear🙏
This is because every rotating body be it a crankshaft or a normal shaft cant be manufactured where the centre of rotation coincides with centre of mass. So this results in vibrations induced in the rotating body which is not preferred as it can cause long term damage to the component which will fail the entire machine.
Hence, a balancing disc is used which adds point mass to areas where the component lacks mass. This can reduce the vibrations to a big extent but may not be able to eliminate the vibrations completely.
👌👌👌👌
We made this video only for you🥰🥰
Wow it is a great video for us.
Thank you for sharing your awesome video.
Please make or upload more details and precise instructions for the engineers.
@@MechStudies thank you sir👍👍👍👍
@@masssong313 thank you so much for your feedback, surely we will make videos very soon
Try to avoid the background music. It makes distrubance to listening.
Oh ho… noted n will take it up from the next video onwards, thank you so much for your observations
