- "It's the fastest ball that I've ever hit." Rory's picked up half a club (7-8 yards) in his irons, more ball speed, and soft feel around the greens. Introducing the all-new TP5x. It's designed to be the fastest 5-layer golf ball ever made. See what it can do for your game: tmgolf.co/FB24TP5x

LETS GO RORY
Supports ball roll back… gets hyped about a ball that goes further. Whatevs Rors.
With all these times these pros gain like 10 yards every year, by now mathematically they should be driving the ball 500 yards!
Just came to read the comments due to the irony 😂
We need a range video again please
does the tp5x not launch higher. from what i read on the boxes it says it launched higher than the tp5
i think he means when against wind. usually more spinny balls will climb up and stall in the air but as tp5x is less spinny, it will not climb as much therefore lower height apex into wind = more distance. thats why you see him saying 153 is good into wind. and didnt expect to hit 185 or whatever. hope that helps
Is this length playing length or driver shaft length???
Why?! With the ball roll back already in place why is TM doing this?
I think there’s is a big misconception with the golf ball roll back , I don’t know the exact numbers however all (most) balls are tested at a certain club head speed and with this have a maximum yardage , and the “golf ball rollback” is the testing they do with the “new ball” after the rule change means the maximum yardage stays the same however with a slightly faster club head speed , so to my knowledge (and I may be wrong, please correct me if you know because I find it interesting) that this new ball in this video should still apply to the current club head speed and maximum yardage but with lower spin and launch for someone as fast as Rory means a stronger flight with doesn’t balloon up and therefore carry’s that little bit further.
I understand the Ball Roll back, doesn't come into effect until 2028. So let's push the limits until you're forced to roll it back. Plus, most of these Ball manufacturers will ultimately fight this roll back. The public and the pros don't want a roll back. You make money, giving the People what they all want.
I would love to try the new TP5x ball as I have had good success with the previous version,BUT with the new version NOW $85AUD(a $25 aud increase on the old version),as a 12.7 handicap player,I can’t justify paying that much for them unfortunately 🥺🥺
So, what’s the lower spinning ball for driver?
Pro V1 x Left Dash, but for taylormade it's the TP5x
I mean that was a shot.
+7-8.... = -1 yard
Good thumbnail Taylor made!
I love TP5s the ball is a straight piss missile when you hit it pure😂
Great insight to all the top players
HOWEVER as a customer of TaylorMade perhaps they should spend more time on their customer service as the experience I have received it is absolutely abysmal 😡A tale of woe that would send shivers down your spine and as of today still not resolved 😡
I love how the sales guy says "u see the ball at the top and it keeps going forward".......ummmmmm ok
Ya… sure cause new Callaway ball has created some buzz
I think he'll want to take that back after shooting +3 lol
🎯

First
some low effort posts in here… rory wants to win and the ball is performing better for him… rollback isn’t relevant for a couple years, you can support that and benefit from this ball
Load of tosh
PGA wants to change ball regs. The problem is club and ball technology does not translate to longer distances for the buying public. Stuff only works with swing robots and touring pros. Leave the regs alone.
I highly doubt Rory is playing the same TP5x as you and I would. Yes the ball is long but it's also too firm - which is most certainly part of why it is long. Minimal feel and spin around the greens and off shorter irons...
