Inferi was a band I slept on for way too long. It’s easily one of the best bands on Artisan Era, which says a lot because there’s nothing but good stuff on this label.

Man that just reminded me of a while back when I met a fellow metal head and we were talking about bands we’re into, and I asked if he knew Inferi and he was like, oh, yeah they’re pretty good. I didn’t say it but in my mind I was going, “Pretty good??? Pretty good? Well, that’s a weird way of saying the best band ever!”

WOW! an INFERI song that I could actually play! :-D I've loved this song since the first listen, but after seeing how it's played, I realise that it's actually the perfect marriage between 90's Florida death metal and Swedish (Euro) tech death from the same era. I'm totally digging those up-strokes in the verse riff. Sounds clean and mean.

Man the one thing that annoys tf outta me to no end is I play in the same tuning and my shit never sounds as pronounced as this. Ik it's highly produced but fuck man, it doesn't even sound close. idk y tf that is n it drives me kinda crazy.
