Virtual Blood Flow, Real Heart Beat

This is a prototype VR simulation which I made back in 2015. It places the viewer inside a blood vessel. The VR app communicates with a Heart Beat Sensor, from which it receives blood flow readings in real-time. These readings are used to pulse the simulated blood in time to my real heart beat. The prototype was made with Unity, and runs on an Oculus Rift DK2.

That's pretty wild and advanced. I like the neuro biofeedback effect as a technique that affects a portion of the VR experience. Like rain if the heartbeat is low and slow, frenzied birds flocking for high heart rates and clear skies for rhythms within medical norms. Then working VR to "steer" the extremes toward normal if they're too long sustained. VR as therapy this way is fascinating, but deep stuff. Sub'ed.

Nice Did somthing similar with gas measuring through a rasberry pi giving visual of IoT gas thingie measure in Nreal Light AR glasses.,. Love interactivity between simulated and real world...
