- This old man 67 years old earning ₹50 to ₹100 a day under hot sun with a weight machine refuse to accept my money.. What an Inspiration he is, I did convince him to keep the money so he can help himself. And I saw his sandal totally worn out so I told him I’ll get new one ..But he humbly said " it’s okay I’ll buy it, you already gave me money". But I still decided to buy new one for him. Uncle sits Opposite to F block in Connaught Place. If you ever happen to go there kindly visit him with some fruits , water , or anything you can do.

We need more people like you Ted. As an Australian I feel so blessed and it's sad even here, relatively, to see needless poverty when there is so much wealth. We do our best to be charitable through our Church and sponsoring through World Vision but it's never enough. Everyone needs to do a "little", collectively it will alleviate the hungry. I haven't missed the point of this mans incredible value system and I love his statement about only leaving behind good "deeds".
