- hi i know this is a bit different from my usual videos,
but today is my close friend's 20th birthday. it's been 2 years without him and i wanted to share this painting of him on Mt. Kiltepan, Sagada with you guys. If you're wondering what I wrote around the canvas, it's a poem written by him back in 2nd grade called Heaven. :)

edit: hi, for anyone saying i’m using this video for “clout” and that it’s “evil”, that’s not the case at all. i made this video for his family, because they wanted to share it with all his friends and family during his death anniversary. unfortunately, it was cancelled due to covid. so, i decided to post it on my channel. i had no idea it would blow up or any of that sort.

My sister lost her friend due to cancer, it's been a tough time for her, she cries at least everyday, she's only 6 years old.
The fact that she's only 6 makes me sad even more knowing her friend was way too young and she's way too young to not be happy 💔

I lost my bestfriend to Suicide April 29 2019 and my birthday is May 29. He loved to draw, he loved to be creative, he was such a kind soul. He was my bestfriend for 8 years and I don't have a lot of friends, he was the only one that knew exactly everything about me and when he killed himself..it was like he killed a part of me. I don't blame myself one bit because I was the one that warned everyone in his life soo many times, his family and close friends. But they didn't take his depression like an illness. What he did killed a part of me yes, but it changed me for the better. I don't take people for granted, my relationship with my family and friends are deeper now, I care and show love in a whole different level now and it also showed me how strong I am. A few months later, 10 February 2020 I lost my beloved aunt due to an aggressive form of cancer. It took 3 weeks from when she got sick to her last breath.. but I am still going strong for my family, for my aunt, my bestfriend and most importantly myself. I choose life over anything.

We started to drift away when first semester in college started. I blamed myself for what happened to us (which by the way was not good). It felt like I’ve just gone from break-up, but this is much worse than break-up because you lost someone dearly. What hurts me is that she’s with her new friends. One of my best friends I’ve known my whole entire life and our parents have known eachother their whole entire life starts being really rude all of a sudden. She became really insensitive and she acted like she didn’t want to be my friend anymore. Set a true realize that we were drifting apart. And then I realize they had no real friends that really did care about me at all. We still talk every day but she’s just rude to me and she doesn’t even try to be nice. I feel so alone right now knowing I have absolutely no one. I’ve never gone through a loss of someone but it feels like a loss right now. I cry every day thinking about how alone I feel and how we have no true friends. I guess the only one I had was her and now she’s drifting apart. Hey, i'm really sorry for your story....well i think it will happen the same to me....my only best friend is starting to drifting away, she never amwser at my messages and when i write to her she always say that shes busy but then i see that shes chatting in the class group with all my classmates that kinda hates me....

I didn’t lose my friend, I lost my grandma. She raised me, while my mother couldn’t take care of me, she was there. She thought me to walk, to talk, to count. I did everything with her, she taught me everything I know. I lost her two years ago the day before my birthday, August 17th. She was put on that life control thing until the 19th, and then died. I miss her so much. You never know what you have until you lose it. It’s cliche but true.. I got so mad at her all the time. When she said “I love you” I said “I love you too” but I didn’t mean it. Because I said in my head that I’d see her tomorrow. That I’d greet her tomorrow. But she wasn’t there. That was the last thing I said to her. I love you. But I didn’t even mean it. I wish I meant it, I wish I treated that like it was the last I love you I’d say. I wish I knew.

I never really lost my own best friend, I just realised she wasn't a good friend and I had to cut off with her for my and my current best friend mental health.
But I think I'm starting to realise my current bestie might feel like she's slowly loosing me, as I'm isolating myself more and more, so I (again) feel bad for not being as present, supportive and cheerful as I used to because she honnestly deserves the best.

I remember this one girl..she was the first friend I have ever made in school. We were in Kindergarten all the way to 2nd grade until I moved schools. She always suffered from some type of breathing problem, and was always sent to the hospital to be hooked up on machines. When I looked her name up online not so long ago, it appeared that she had died the year after I had left to my new school.
The doctor told her that she wasn’t gonna live for long, so instead of her suffering she removed the breathing mask when nobody was around. Basically committing suicide before actually dying. She was only 9 years old, but goddam without her I would have been alone for my first 2 years of school with her.
That little gir was so strong to be able to do that.

I was diagnosed with Leukemia. And my best friend told me when I came to the first class on 1 grade,she said she felt so happy that I was good and healthy, now I know that I always count on her. She is my savior and my hope that I’m here right now. Healthy and relieved that the leukemia as passed away. When I saw this video I now that when she moves to a different city or country I will paint a poem that she written on 4 grade. Its called the roses are you. Best and the most beautiful human being in my life.
I haven’t lost a friend yet but my cousin did pass away from cancer when she was around 11 or 12. The sad thing is I never really got time to hang out with her...she came over to my house once and we had fun and talked a bit, I just wished I could have hangout with her more when she was here....it’s been about what 2-3 years since then and I still think about her to this day.
edit: I just lose a aunt yesterday from a overdose of alcohol and I pretty sure were going to here funeral at Friday since she live far away and we have to travel far. She was a great aunt and mom to her children. Now here daughter’s daughter’s won’t have a grandma no more...I’m sad since she was like the best aunt u would probably want tbh. I wish she was still here and I could see her at least one more time.

It was 2018, my bestfriend died cause of cancer, I don’t know why I didn’t want to face the truth that she have cancer and keep wiping it off and say maybe she is sick and she have some other illness losing her hair, I was numb at her funeral and couldn’t think anything else, since I already bursting out tears when the teacher announced the news at class.

While watching this it reminded me of the time when my two bestfriends and i got into a fight over a stupid small thing and we literally ignored each other for like months and everytime i see them together and happy without me just hurts... I sometimes try to fix things but it just ends with them pushing me away further...
I sometimes cry myself to sleep and blame myself for everything..
and this one time one of my ex bestfriends literally told me that they’re better without me....
We eventually apologised to each other and became friends again but it doesn’t feel the same anymore... it doesn’t feel real anymore...i just hope that they’re both happy and safe...

I lost my best friend to suicide.
He was an amazing person, he was very shy and I still remember his smile when he got to know my other friends, I miss seeing his eyes sparkle when he would tell me about astronomy or something funny that happened. He was going to surprise me by coming to illinois to visit me. I didn’t deserve him, he was an angel. He was there for me when I needed him most, he supported me, he made me laugh, he was a part of me.
It’s been a year. I have moments where I know he’s with me and I’m thankful for that. His birthday was a couple of months ago. I miss you, Alex. 💜

My close friend overdosed last August and yeah, it’s really hard to listen to some music or watch some movies with sobbing and I know I’ll probably never truly move forward, this pain and grief is probably something I’ll always live with and I’m fine with it, my grades are still good and i still laugh but there’s also that emptiness when I achieve stuff bc all I can think is ‘would she be proud of me??’ This video is truely gorgeous and my heart is with all of those who have lost a dear friend, it’s hard but trust me everyday gets easier to breathe and to get out of bed. Some days you will fall back into bed and cry and that’s fine, we all fall back sometimes but we must learn to stand up and dry our tears. We can’t let life’s moments pass us by 💕💕

Loosing a best friend is the worst thing ever. I lost my best friend(bf at the time aswell) do to cancer, i wasnt allowed to go to his funeral neither was able to, i wished i could've said ily one more time. I made his wish and kept on going for music, kept on living, depression hit me for a while cause i didnt know who to lean on after that. I was able to keep on going because of some friends, but there is never a second were i dont miss him.

This made me remember when I was about to start highschool. But 2 days before school starts, I was so excited especially my uncle. He was excited to see me grow and I made a promise that I will ace everything. But he passed away... It broke my heart. I became so depressed, I was still young and naive then. Yes... I achieve what I wanted, I made him my motivation. My uncle became my bestfriend. Someone who I can lean on with my problems. He is the reason why my talents developed, Because of his support on what I thought I couldn't do. Many people praised me with my talent... But soon enough, It felt empty. Everyone said, They envied me. I became popular, By my singing, dancing, art, and studying... But they haven't seen me broken down into tears before. They thought I was happy, and cheerful. But deep inside I was empty.
And yes... I attempted suicide before... But my friends opened my eyes especially my teachers. Soon enough my teachers talked to me on whats wrong, because they heard me broke down in one of the bathroom stalls. I told them everything... And one thing that I realised.
Suicide is never the answer. I was naive at that time. My brain kept me thinking that it was the end of e world. But it actually isn't. You have your family, friends, people there for you. Before you do anything rash. Think about it. Is this really the end? Am I really giving up? What would everyone think about when I die? If you feel that you are alone. Talk to someone, that knows how to give you advice.
Because in the end of the day... There is hope. This is what life is. It is filled with so much hardship that we should face. Because they are obstacles, Yes sometimes we will hit rock bottom. But we should know how to climb back. Because you always have a chance to get back up to your own fit. You learn from your mistakes.

coincidental that this gets recommended to me. a close friend of mine died just earlier in march, and i miss her dearly. i miss her, so so much. we had been classmates for 4 years. we were going to graduate to senior high together this may. the last week before our classes were suspended due to the virus was the week we said our final goodbyes. her wake, her last mass, the very last time we saw her. i feel sad a lot, i mourn a lot, but i am learning to heal, too. i remember her in all the small, beautiful things that i see. i remember her in sunrise, in the sunset. in purple skies (her favourite colour was purple). in songs that she covered and let me hear (everglow by coldplay will never be the same again), and in movies we loved together (i can't watch black panther without missing her). it hurts, to only have memories; to only have what was; to only have what might have been, but she still brings me happiness in those small ways. she was an angel to many during her short time on this earth, and i gain comfort in the fact that she will forever be an angel, up there in the skies. she's a star. she will always be a star to me. i love you, b.

I lost my best friend Dolly my horse. She was always there as support whenever i needed her and was a way of coping with all the things that went on in my life...a sort of comfort blanket. Our rides together were...interesting but even if we werent as good as the olimpic riders and horses we were best friends and nothing could break us apart. I knew her since i was 5 and im now 13. She was put down 3 month ago on the 30.4.20. Things have never been the same without her and seeing the pictures of us together around my room makes me cry everyday but nothing will ever make me take them down because she is the most special thing to me in the whole world and losing her made me....feel empty. Like i didnt have a place here anymore because now i had lost my best friend and there was nothing i could do to get her back. I wish i could have given her one last cuddle and a goodbye. If there was anything i would say to her it would be this- Dolly, thankyou SO much for being with me. You have no idea how much i love you and how much you mean to me. Seeing your headcollar hung up on my door makes me remember all the amazing times we got to have together and i cant thank you enough for it. You taught me so much and not just how to ride but you taught me that no one is perfect, patience,resilience and to sit back after a jump...i learned the hard way when i didnt sit back...i fell down your neck and hurt my spine but that didnt stop me from getting back on and trying again because you were always willing to try again with me. Thankyou SO MUCH i love you more than you will ever imagine. I cant wait to see you again one day you crazy bean💖I love you Dolly💖30.4.20💫

I understand your pain. I love my pony Seymour. He’s my best friend. I can’t Imagine losing him. Even though I know it will come one day. I try to spend as much time with him as I can. He understands me just like how I understand him. He makes me feel loved everyday. I love him i am scared for the future when he will pass but right now I have him and that is all that madders. I’ve lost one other horse when I was little. She was also my best friend and I loved her. I wasn’t there to say goodbye and it still hurts me today. But I know I still have her with me whenever I ride. I love her even though it’s hard to still remember what she looks like. The one memory that I have is of us standing in the barn me hugging her head and her giving me as much love I have her back. I’m so happy that I got to love her before she passed. I still remember the night when I got the call from my grandma. I cried for a while. But I still have her with me. And everyday I am so thankful that I am even able to have such an amazing animal that cares and loves you as much as you love and care for them. Thank you Seymour and Delaney for always being there for me. I love you with all of my heart ❤️
@@jossymarie that is so sweet💖 Dolly had arthritis in her back legs for a while and at one point i stopped riding her because of it but i didnt mind. One day after school i went to the farm where she was kept and fed her treats and gave her cuddles until the sun was gone and i am SO grateful that the last thing i ever told her was "i love you Dolly". One morning she woke up and the arthritis made her collapse and she couldnt move or stand up so she was put down. Putting her down was the best thing we could do for her because the vet said there was nothing they could do to help her.
I didnt get to see her pass as the UK (Where i live) was in full lockdown bc of corona. Her grave rests peacefully under the apple tree in the field💖🐎
I know my story is like none of the ones here. I mean I haven't really lost anyone to death but I did lose my elder sister. She left us when I was about 7 years old or something. I don't really remember and I can't ask my parents because We just never talk about it. I miss her so much sometimes. I just think about how my life would be so different if she was still with me but she's not. She left me voluntarily. I think that's why it pains more. I don't know how to feel about her because everyone just talks about how mean and rude and selfish she was. All I remember is how much she loved me and how we used to have so much fun together like dancing and how she taught me how to braid my hair. And then she just left me and never looked back. I have this photo where I am with her and I am so happy. I just look at it whenever I feel lonely and sad.Its the only picture that I have of me and her. I always felt safe when I was younger because I always thought she would be with me every step of the way. I just remember a few happy memories with her. I can't recall other memories at all. Its like as if my mind is protecting me from those bad memories of her leaving and my parents suffering. It's all a blur and I am grateful for that. I used to be really sad but now I am at a really good place because I finally trust God. I am happy to say that I finally understand now that everything happens for a reason.

Personally, i feel like no one will ever heal from losing best friends.
It hurts not being appreciated, it hurts to always be the last option and it hurts to not be anyone's priority. It hurts so much when you lose someone that you'll never be able to see again. But it also hurtsa lot to see someone drift apart, still around you but you no longer feel the same love you received before. It hurts. And they're happy while you're alone feeling fucked up for feeling your feelings.

I've lost my best friend due to a car accident last august. I am concerned that I will lose my parents one day but oh boy, nothing prepares you for that one call. That call that you would have NEVER expected in lifetime. That call that would change life forever. I thought I would be the first to pass away but life is unpredictable. I was the one who called the other friends to tell them, and again, it's one thing to handle your pain, but another to "cause" pain to others because it's you who tell them. I have so much love and gratitude for her and she was the best what could've happened to me.
I feel so sorry for all of you who have gone through grief. Life isn't fair at all. But we can just feel happy for the fact that we could have spent time with them,no matter how much of a time.

I remember my bestfriend. He died in a gang shoot out...his body was discovered 5 days later...he was shot on the arm and in the stomach. I lost my bestfriend too, to suicide, that is kind of how we met, both in the hospital because of suicide we were suppose to be better at least I got better but right when he had the chance to get out of the house he run in front of a train. He was missing for 2 weeks before the police could connect the dots. It gave me hope that he was just wandering but no, he was gone the day he got missing. I was the last person to talk to him. I miss him so much

When I was 6 years old my best friend drowned in a river not long before my birthday. I remember my 7th birthday it all felt so wrong. My mum says I even wrote him on the invite list to my party. It was just automatic. Losing him almost 10 years ago is something I still struggle to get over. I'm 15 now and there's a lot of feelings I know I don't understand that can be rooted back to my child hood, with losing a friend and having a topsy-turvy home life too. They always say with time you'll heal but I can tell you that you don't. That pain carries with you especially since I was so young and we were so close when it happened that I've never set my feelings straight. When people ask why I'm sad I just say "I've loved and I've lost. Nothing new". All you can do is be brave and stomach it, knowing there's nothing you can do.
I don't have many memories from when I was 6 years old but I do remember when my dad told me that he had died, I remember where I was and what I was wearing and what i was doing. I also remember setting off balloons at school in his memory; but balloons fly away and eventually pop so I also remember feeling like it was so pointless, like "well 100 yellow balloons won't bring him back".
I understand how hard it is. In fact, I'm crying right now because I'm thinking about it again.
I'm 15 and I cry about something that happened 9 years ago. I cry regularly and what hurts me most is that I don't believe in a God anymore, I just believe in solid peace. I hope he's in peace along with your friend that you have also lost. It hurts me because we can only believe, no one knows what comes after all this, and that's what's so hard about death; leaving/letting go. Because to let go is to accept that it's all over, what they were is all over and for nothing except pain and sorrow.
But it gets better, you heal but you will still hurt. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that you don't feel hurt because you will and I want you to know it's normal to still hurt even after lengths of time and don't tell yourself your feelings aren't valid because they are. You're allowed to hurt; it's the only way to heal.

I know how you feel, but it still hurts too. I had a best friend that had severe depression and he said a lot of things towards/about me that I really didn't like. I tried my best to stay strong through it all but the emotional pain got to be too much. So I confronted him about it and we both decided that we'd be better off strangers rather than friends. It still hurts though, thinking about all the fun memories we had together. And how we won't make anymore.
Same. I knew a friend since I was seven, befriended her when I was eight and recently we kinda just stopped being friends. I’m sad, but it was for the best probably because she was becoming very toxic. Even after we stopped being friends she continued to try and make life hard for me and my other friends just because she hates all of us now.

I love how you included his backpack. I lost my friend Lauren when she fell while rock climbing almost exactly one year ago. When you lose someone, you remember pieces of them vividly like their hair, their eyes, where their locker was, etc. One of her possessions I can picture so well is her backpack. I was jealous of her because she had that backpack for all of high school (I think), but I went through three backpacks in high school! Lauren, I miss you so much and even though you didn’t live long enough to solve the global warming crisis by becoming an environmental engineer, you inspired me and thousands of other people to have your same attitude and drive for life :) 💚
I lost my best friend when I was in 2nd grade. It all started when one day at school she told me that she is gonna have to change schools. And I was very sad and she was sad too. She stayed with us(class) for a few days before she left. And one time when I came to class I saw she wasn't there and I knew she had already left. Because I came late to school. :( But when I entered the class it was very quite. And my homeroom teacher was standing at the front. So I just walked to my seat and sat down. I asked one of my friends what's going on. And she said that the teacher is going to tell us something. And the teacher said "since everyone is here I would like to say something." She said it was about our friend. And everyone was curious who is that _friend_ . And she said that (my bff) died. When I first heard that I was shocked. She told everyone the story. It's when it was her first day of her new school. And she used a transport to get there(a school van). And while the driver was driving there is a big truck behind them who drove full speed. And then it crashed. The van was kinda flipped. And there were students who had been injured. But my friend didn't survive. The next morning they have burned her. And collect her ashes. And let it go in the sea. And then everyone in my class prayed including me. I am now a prep student. And this is my first year of high school. And yet I will never forget about her. :(

I am in Grade 6 and recently I've found out that all my friends where fake to me. They would talk behind my back saying I was fat,ugly shouldn't be in the classroom and other hurtful stuff. My parents decided to change me schools to a cheaper school and I was sad because I couldn't meet my real best friends that didn't change,talk behind my back nor leave me alone but at the same time I was happy I couldn't see those jerks again! I've tried thinking to just leave the world but that this video made me think to just move on and start a new friends and life and leave all the toxicity away.

I see her in flowers that bloom when I step out of our door, I see her in the scorching sun. She was very fond of sunflowers and she's the type of person who brings light to everyone around her. I watched this when it first came out a month ago. But since then, things have changed. So a girl a little older than me in my class used to be bullied, her parents were divorced, her sister didn’t treat her right, she had no one to talk to, she was depressed. She rarely saw her dad, and her mum had her own problems. So my friend and I felt bad, so we started hanging out with her, and it turned out, she was pretty fun. Normally once a week she’d have a bad day and be angry with everyone, including me, but my friend and I always stuck with her, no matter what. On the last week before school closed because of the virus, she was mad at everyone. Sticking up the finger at me and my friend. But just like all the other times, we stuck with her. But then our school closed. 13 weeks into quarantine I was bored, so I got Snapchat again, and unsurprisingly, all of my snaps I couldn’t see as they were all from about 50 weeks ago, all apart from one. 9 nine weeks ago, she snapped me even though she knew I didn’t have snapchat at that time. I was confused. I asked my other friend if she had heard from her but apparently she wouldn’t answer her snaps. From the first day I got snapchat I started snapping her everyday. I’m still waiting for a reply.
Luis would’ve loved this. Just know, even though he isn’t physically here, he’s emotionally here for you!
I know this barely scratches the surface of what it’s like to lose someone, but I’m very sorry. I’m not going to say I know what it feels like to lose someone, because I don’t. But I do know what it feels like to lose family, and it’s very hard. Again, I’m sorry for your loss, and I’ll say it, even though I know how meaningless those words can be

The worst of all this lose , when it comes from that best friend , after years and years of being together over 6 years , she just left like nothing happened between us , it's not related but it feels exactly like you lost someone so important, when you'll never be able to see each other or talk again tho we're still alive somewhere, it's just feels like a death , huge part of me felt like dead after that time, I'm sorry, I loved you, thank you and please, never think or remember me again,

Now I didn’t lose anyone to passing away, but I had a best friend for 5 years (to now) and she’s become depressed (diagnosed by a doctor) and she was slipping away from me. I was always there to comfort her. She was replaced and she just couldn’t let go of that other friend. She got over it eventually and started expressing herself to me more often (she has trust issues) a new student came to our school and they became very close. She and I weren’t too close until basketball season. We came close then but there was one thing that bothered me. My best friend started telling her things instead of me. She had only known her for about 2 months and I told her it was upsetting. We kinda stopped hanging out and became distant. We joined a 4-h club to have better reasons to hang out. Later she quit on me. I only joined to be in it with her and I’m not aloud to quit. In school we both realized our friendship was dying, we did our best to search up how to save it but never actually did anything. Remember the girl who replaced her? Yeah, she ran back to her and ditched me for her (she did have a crush in her for 2 years though) and not just that, no no, she took the newer girl to completely replace me. Now it seems like we just pretend to even be friends. If you read that whole rant thank you

ah,, same this is happening to me rn but with my online bestfriend,, her ex recently came back to her and since she was inlove with her they're trying to make a healthy relationship,, i really am happy for her but it really feels like she's replacing and we've been really distant lately to the point she wanted distance to our whole friend group :(

I was thinking the same thing. I can't imagine the World without my best friends. Even though they aren't in my life everyday because of long distance, I cannot imagine my life without them. We meet at most twice a year, but I wouldn't trade out that time for anything in this World.

I met them at the park, they were twins brother and sis. The sister turned out to be one of the best friends i ever had and so was her brother. (I actually kinda liked him, he also liked me back) but one day my mom told me we were moving to somewhere because of personal stuff. I cried so much on that day. After i moved I never had saw them again, i hope someday in the future ill find them once again.

I lost one of my closest friends just 2 months earlier. Tomorrow will be exact 2 months since she has passed away. She too was 17 and hanged herself because of dark and sad thoughts because of some toxic people in her life! She will always be in my heart and I pray for her always.
This made me cry since my aunt passed away last April 13,2019,she died cause of accidentally pulled the trigger a gun on her head,yet after that my bonding with my family started to crumble apart,and now this quarantine made me depressed since my friends called me a attention seeker,liar and a fake friend,i guess its true since i lied my age and gender, it's not because i dont want to tell it to social media,its because my mom told me to not tell it and well...im happy that one of them still is my friend and im happy for it..

I lost one of my best friends to a seizure earlier this year, a couple of days after New Year. Funnily enough, your painting reminded me of a time he made me and some of our other friends walk through a nature reserve at midnight to watch fireworks from the top of a hill in London. Can i just voice out my thoughts? I like how it started all blue, thinking of blue reminds me of many things water thats endless ( water has memory - frozen 2) all the memories she had with this bestfriend, blue may also represent some sadness imo and those tear drop like thing hit me hard idk why so suddenly. Then i saw the colors yellow orange the making of a sunset or sunrise it just reminds me of how things end and start, but we will forever remember those days i hope the youtuber sees this but idk its too long and wordy it might not get noticed in the comment section but if you read this stay strong and know that your feelings has reached someone like me who has went throught the same thing :))

I haven’t lost anyone, yet this video has left me in tears. I can’t imagine what I would ever do without her. I have many best friends, but I haven’t seen the one I’m closest to in five months due to the virus. I miss her more than anything. I’m 16 and I lost my best friend this year on December 15th. Kenny was in a car accident visiting colleges in North Carolina. We live in Illinois. I don’t know anyone else who was planning their future so far ahead. She was going to the Olympics. She set every swim record at our school and was my bright light. I love her to death and miss her more than anything. Today has been hard because it’s Mother’s Day and I know how badly her mom is hurting. She loved her mom so so much.
