    In this tech talk, Epic Games takes you on a tour of the MetaHuman Framework and showcases what’s possible when you combine the power of machine learning with digital humans.
    First, we provide a whirlwind tour of the component parts of MetaHuman and show what lies beyond MetaHuman Creator, with technical notes and best practices for MetaHuman assets, the DNACalib library, and the MetaHuman for Unreal plugin.
    Then, we demonstrate how Unreal Engine machine learning technology can be used to create a high-fidelity next generation game character with deformations driven by full muscle, flesh, and cloth simulation.
    We cover the end-to-end process from creating your training data to setting up your network parameters and evaluating the result. You’ll come away with an understanding of how to use ML Deformer to achieve amazing deformation on your own real-time characters, whatever your creative goals.

    😮😮😮I have an idea for a new technology for MetaHuman Animator: Creating characters not manually specifying the type and size of the nose, eyes, but for the program to determine which nose, which eyes to choose, what color eyes, skin, hair. This is really super technology.😃

    awesome looking but essencially if you are not an expert at creating the insides of a character model (there's not much info on it either) and making it sim ready into Houdini you would not be able to even start using this workflow.

    The EULA for metahuman has vague language about using it with AI. We need better EULA so we can actually use Metahuman with AI in the engine. MAY NOT USE: " for the purpose of building or enhancing any database or training or testing any artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, neural network or similar technology;"
    This is too restrictive and prevents us from training our AI with our metahuman characters. How can we use AI with our metahumans if we can't train AI to use metahuman for game engine and game?
    also vague language that we can't modify our metahuman characters for game because it would be considered "competition"

      So you don't think it's ok for a company to protect a part of their product... despite already giving hugely expensive products free for the community, including the aforementioned MH access

      @@SuperMyckie I don't have a problem with them protecting the Metahuman tech from being "abused"... When I sell games they make money... I am trying to actually "use" metahumans in an AI based video game. And according to this ridiculous EULA, I cannot. If they change the EULA so that it allows me train AI with metahumans specifically for "in game" and in Unreal Engine tasks... then that would fix the limit while also preserving their product. Additionally, they have added a do not compete clause, which means that any character modifications to Metahumans in Engine/game could be considered as "competition". They should make it clear that metahumans can be modified as part of a game we sell, provided that we are not selling the "metahuman" asset itself. Since the EULA is clearly vague in this respect, I am stuck not using the Metahuman Creator until I can see this fixed or at least clarified.

      @@SuperMyckie Oh trust me, I give them HUGE credit... as an Indie dev, I really appreciate Epic and Unreal Engine in general. It's just that the metahumans are so important to future games... and with this odd no training AI rule... and the fact that AI is now so huge... it makes using Metahuman Creator almost useless for me. Think of the amazing things we could do with AI in games with metahumans... we could train them to have mouth movement that makes sense with the words... emotional appearance etc. Without AI, it will be a very difficult thing to do easily. Anyway, np... I do understand where you are coming from. I would "gladly" pay Epic reasonable Marketplace fee for the privilege too.

    So, 2 years later... Attempted to load metahuman creator in different computers, different browsers, with different epic accounts, different internet connections, clean windows installation and... absolutely nothing worked! seems like I am better of with DAZ. I am not angry, just very very disappointed!

    Metahuman - Sponsor is again? I see: Autodesk "Maya" and Apple "IPhone 11+"
    What about Android Deeplink API + Blender 3.5?
    Ir Kinect2 has a very nice True Deep Sensor - The V2 sensor uses time-of-flight to measure depth. It has a higher resolution 2D camera, and is superior for tracking hand gestures, body and face motion.

      @@vantam4n it is obvious that I have internet connection or not even CZcams would show. I have tried in different computers, different browsers, even with a clean windows installation and with different internet connections, nothing works!
