- In this devlog, I added my first boss to my action RPG game, Project Seaborn! Also, I'm trying out a slightly different style for this devlog, by organizing it into each day of work, which I think works better.

For some reason, there needs to be a casino in this game. (There doesn't need to be one, I just wanted to make a suggestion) Also, maybe Ava could have an animal tamer skill or job. To make enemies passive?
hate to see people put in so much work into videos and games and get so little recognition (also you definitely inspired me to make my own game I just suck at coding with the advanced coding systems)
you should add a custom curser to your game it would spice it up a lot.

Maybe the bosses shell should be like a city it can turn from ancient city to modern city to future city.
Great to see how your approaching boss fights. I like how you've got different stages weak to different characters. Do you think it'll be obvious to the player?
I think I might try adding some dialogue about how a stage might be easier to deal with with long range attacks or something

Adding sfx is a really good idea but if i can recommand something add a variety of sfx, what i mean is for example add 6 different swing sfx for the sword swing and make it being one random among the 6 sfx. I played games that had only one sfx for the attack and it's really annoying once you notice (and you notice it in 20 sec)
(Oh and attach the weapon to the character pls !!!)

Would the visuals for the characters change with their jobs or stay the same?
I wanna change them, but it’s so many sprites that I might have to find a different way
You should use free assets pack for all the placeholder graphic, just to expend the gameplay with not to weird looking art, or juste use shape thing ^^.
The gameplay concept is quite interesting but the art sory i cant ^^. Watch the devlog since your previous game good content though.

@@ButWhyLevin I think it looks unique the way it is. I just dont like the character designs, they feel generic and like random kids that dont fit into this world (my 2 cents)

dude that is a lot of complicated content remember you are only one person and adding this much complicity to a game will harm it eventually because even if you don't care it will take more time it will also take your focus from the basic things that makes a game fun to play.
