Dubrovnik was beautiful! But mljet which is an island off Croatia was our favourite! Felt completely alone. You can get the ferry over from the mainland. So easy! Do it! X
I'm saving hard for a long term goal of travel to Europe, but much more difficult from the bottom if the Pacific. The UK is so lucky to be a gateway to so many places. I want to get to Germany to see where my Dad's family came from and my maternal Gran (Oma) came from.And Denmark. So much beautiful Architecture.
It looked like a very tranquil and relaxed vacation. Your friends looked lovely as well. I'm glad everybody had a good time! I would love to move to a place like mljet was it? But I'm sure the mosquitoes would eat me alive. I'm allergic to them and fleas as well, so my flea bites look like mosquito bites and my mosquito bites swell up to the size of a tennis ball.
Mljet was the highlight of our whole trip! We felt completely alone. It was so silent, just the sound of the water. I’m usually eaten alive but I was covered in repellent and took an antihistamine every day and my bites weren’t too bad. Don’t let it put you off!! X

So Croatia was the most expensive, comparable to London prices. I think Montenegro was the cheapest. Fuel was cheap as chips!
