I really do like the Bronco, however, Ford Dealers are really ruining the brand for me. Their greed and price gouging have really turned me off. I ended up with a Jeep Wrangler unlimited with the eco-diesel engine. I’m very pleased with it and having bought it at the height of Diesel prices in June I actually paid 1k under sticker.

I agree. Had an order for a Bronco, went into the dealer to test drive the one they had, and was told no test drive. They didn’t want miles racked up on their Bronco. After I complained the manager called me back offering a test drive. I refused citing damage was already done.

I just went off roading in my 2020 Ram truck with the off road package today and I can’t say enough about how capable modern 4x4s are and how enjoyable it was. They climb over anything with no effort and the suspension is gentle but firm. Just like this video, you can drive anywhere and enjoy them with confidence and relax. The usability of the tech in the Bronco is amazing.

That was a great video Roman, very honest and straight forward. I too share the likes and dislikes that you pointed out. I took delivery of my 2 door Badlands December 5th last year and can say my wife and truly like it. Our dealer was great, we paid sticker price for it just as stated on the day 2 reservation order. First real test off road was last weekend in the eastern slopes of the Rockies west of Calgary AB Canada. The off road tech is amazing especially the trail cruse control. Driving down a -22 degree cutline set at 2 kmph, the way it completely controls the break and throttle is just mind blowing. We had one warranty issue, the FWD Module failed and our dealer have it repaired in 2 days and no problems since then. I so happy I bought it, I think Ford did a great job on bringing back this Icon of an off road vehicle. Thanks again for your review.

You know what I hate about the Bronco? The fact that I ordered one a year ago and they are telling me my estimated build date is "sometime in 2023". Elon had it right when he called Ford "The Morgue". I have been a Ford owner for many years and can't believe how upside down they are right now.

I just hit a year in my Badlands. I took delivery on 8/10/21. For me, being a daily driver/off roader, it's pretty much exactly what I wanted. I have had a couple of minor issues but mostly just fixed them in my garage. Agree on OnX Offroad - the carplay integration is great and I can download the maps, display them on the big giant screen in the middle of the dash, and it's a fantastic experience.
Speaking of Korea, I wish I'd had a Bronco when I lived there. It's narrow enough for the urban streets in the neighborhoods, the cameras are fantastic for parking, and getting to Yongpyeong on a snow day would have been no drama at all (outside of the traffic). We watched a guy sink his camper trailer one day while we were camping out on the Hongcheongang. There were places to off road there, but not like here.

The only exception is that the 4xe and 392 are stronger than it, but that kind of power in a Pentastar-level chassis with solid front axle and recirculating ball is a disaster waiting to happen. With the Bronco Raptor, at least the 400+ hp and lbft will be usable. The Bronco almost across the board has better angles, bigger tires, more clearance, more water fording and better ride quality. I’ll never give up my LC 200, but if I was in the market for a Bronco I’d wait at least three years. That way a lot of the bugs will be worked out, and prices will come back to earth. People that paid that much are just tossing money away. Re-sale value will be good on these, but not 20k over sticker good.

The only thing I'm jealous about with regards to the broncos is that it's so quiet with regards to the rattles, knocks and squeaks when it goes over rocks. When I go over a boulder - it sounds like someone is shaking a box of grannie's silverware in the back. Also 217F for transmission temp is no bueno. ATF starts to break down above 200F.

While I still like the look and design of the Bronco, the bloom is off the rose for me. I placed an order over a year ago for a full unobtainium Outer Banks edition, which I'll probably never see. After all the issues with the MIC hardtop and 2.7 liter engine failures, we decided to go cross town and look at Jeeps. I ordered and received - within 6 weeks - a brand new Rubicon Gladiator which I love. My wife, believe it or not, ordered (wait time over 5 months) a 392 Rubicon Wrangler complete with the Xtreme Recon package - she loves it! While I think the concept of the Bronco is great, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Given how much lead time Ford had, I expected better.

@@hotrod7603 Well, the only thing I will leave aside is your "garbage" comment. Ford couldn't deliver, Jeep could and did. @@wesalexander2693 I agree with the word "garbage" as it's a simplistic, uninformed airhead/Bronco fanboy comment. My "garbage" (aka: "FCA crap") Jeep (2021 Gladiator Rubicon) has been fine so far (11K miles). I don't have any brand-loyalty issues so although I DO own a Jeep, I'm not a Jeep fanboy. Further, I have no condescending names to call the Bronco, as I see Jeep (Wranglers) and Broncos as pretty much equal performance/capability-wise in the real world, both on/off-road.
Just got back from a 2400 mile road-trip (CO/NM/TX and back to CO) and my Gladiator rode very smoothly (due mainly to its longer wheelbase I guess)...a very nice road-trip/hwy vehicle.
OFF road, it's the Top Dog Jeep (Rubicon trim) so there's nothing as-is/from the factory "better" out there in the "serious off-road-focused 4x4" mid-size segment (have no interest in the 392 Wrangler, as it's just a vanity-vehicle with no practical use/value whatsoever -- same as the Bronco Raptor).
IMO, TODAY'S Jeeps (Wranglers/Gladiators) are the best they've ever been...when I got mine (April 2021) off a Jeep dealer's lot they had PLENTY of Wranglers/Gladiators to choose from then (even when Chevy Colorado ZR2s were unobtainable on Chevy dealer lots). I had ZERO interest in anything Ford/Bronco...which was just advertising hype back then anyway, just vaporware as NO ONE had one.
      "Jeep Wave"
BTW, I even "Jeep Wave" to Broncos, but hardly ever SEE one here.

Regardless, in reality the Bronco isn't that much original/innovative after all.

8 months, 30k miles and 0 flies in the ointment. I do have a suspect motor build date - but has been 100% reliable.
Generally flies under the radar due to the Carbonized Gray paint - despite the fact that it is an uncommon configuration (2.7 2 door w/ lux and tow).

I have had Jeep’s for years and my rear door hinges never had a problem with. The Bronco seats and interior aren’t near robust as the Wrangler. When you jump into a 60k + vehicle, the last thing I want to instantly feel is the cheapness of the cabin. As wide as the bronco is, when I take my doors off for off roading, my mirrors aren’t in the way of narrow trails. Also, Ford should have analog RPM instead of digital read out. Lastly, how do you think if you had a replacement engine in the Bronco, you can get back what you have into it? That being said, thank you for the review.
