Great Video !!! Very Inspirational !!
I really love your videos they help me a lot for making the helmets much love from Germany
Thanks! I’m happy to help!
@@3del_printingwhat model of printer is this
Nicely Done 👍👍
Thanks 👍
i love the photos at the end hahahha
Great work ! I'm currently making my own, I was searching how to make the visor when I ended on your video ; maybe you can give me a tip : what material do you use to make the visor ? The thing you use here isn't too dark to see through ?
Thank you, may the force be with you !
Underrated videos. I hope more people see this.
Hello. You have inspired me to get a 3d printer and to start making a helmet! Just wondering what the difference is between an animated style helmet and a realistic style helmet is? Because when I am looking on the galactic armory i don’t see anything different. Lastly which one do you use? Thanks
The helmet you see here is the animated Rex! I chose to do this file because it can print in one piece!
animated is the clones from the show the clone wars, and realistic is from the movies
@@3del_printing can i ask what dimensions do i need to print helmet like this at once?
Great video! I really need to finish my Rex helmet
forget the helmet. love that view outside.
i wanna start making my own helmets and possibly sell them. what would you charge or the whole finished helmet?
Nice
Love the video! Any specific reason you chose to do animated style clone helmets over ROTS/ realistic style? I don’t have a problem with it just curious.
I’ve done a ton of both! I’ve recently been doing more animated style helmets but I love both designs!
do you think the creality c2-10 se would work?
Impressive! While wearing the helmet, how does it remain securely positioned, allowing you to maintain visibility through the visor? In other words, does it shift or require constant adjustments while you wear it?
I size the helmet to fit my head well so it can’t move around too much. Padding can also be added to help if needed!
Hey can u make a list in ur bio or smthn of all the spray paints paints filaments and all that
Hello what size percentage did you print the helmet at?
Very informative video! When making one helmet can you do everything with one can of spray paint each? For example one can of primer, one can of paint etc or do you need multiple of each?
Yes! I used about 1 + 1/4 can of primer for both helmets. Same with the white paint. I used very little blue spray paint.
@@3del_printing Thank you!
What brand sander do you use?
Looks cool!Is it possible to buy any of your helmets? Or can you make a new one? (for money, of course)
say i wanted to start making my own helmets, what size printer would i need, and what printer do you actually use?
I just made my first one using a cr10s pro, printed as one piece took 3 days printer was around 380
What are your settings for removing supports? I just printed and de-supported my first helmet today, phase 2, and I found the support quite difficult to remove.
Removing supports will be tough!
Amazing video man ,🎉 your 3d printing page has inspired me and i hope to buy a printer soon, which 3d printer do you usse
I use the Creality cr-10s! Any printer with a 300 by 300 by 400 mm build volume will work great for entire helmets!
@@3del_printing also may I ask what nozzle size ?
@@3del_printingwhat do you think about the Kobra 2 max? It’s so confusing what printers to choose from. Bad reviews good reviews but I’m looking to print helmets and Star Wars action figures like the 6 in black series.
How heavy are the helmets?
can you link everything you use?
What printer did you use?
I'm thinking about taking the plunge. What size bed do I need for helmets?
Get the cr10s pro I just made my first helmet yesterday using it and made it in 3 days one piece
How big is the surface of your 3D printer?
I mean as in how big should my 3D printer be to make helmets?
Nice! What printer do you use, the CR-10?
Yep! I use the Creality cr-10s!
this is kind of a mandela effect thing for me, because I don't remember the weld lines being that promanent.
can i ask what quality you use in the slicer
I use low quality! (0.28)
@@3del_printing dang boi dang the quality still looks amazing
Which respirator do you use?
Good question! I know it is made by 3M
If im making the helmet do i have to sand it cause i don’t have a sander
If you want to finish and paint you will want to sand it. If you want to speed things up, you can use the sander, but sandpaper works just as good. You’ll just need some kind of filler like woodfiller and acetone (2:1 ratio mixture).
I can not count the amount of times I've cut myself on supports.
and I've only made three helmets
One of those for me. My b-day is next Saturday. lol. jk
Why not make a mold and then make like a 100. 3D printers make no sense to me.
It’s a lot easier to change the sizing with a 3d printer. I eventually want to make molds!
