I love her live performances ALOT more than her studio recorded versions. Her singing is pure heaven with just her voice and guitar... Nothing else is needed.

I'm pretty sure Tori is independent, and I think a good number of artists are taking that route, non-contractual. But, I think as long as you have a manager or agent or just someone to handle your business you can do pretty much whatever you want. But don't take my word for that.
