A month's worth of breakfasts. A feast fit for kings!
A Chinese staple - yao tieu. It's a long savory fried dough stick. Twp pieces of raw dough are stuck together before fried so they can be pulled apart. These are savory and are usually paired with savory foods. These are usually cut and dunked into congee like croutons but they are great with coffee or "yien yerng" which is the Cantonese term for a coffee tea blend made popular in Hong Kong cafes.
I'm Singaporean and I love this sooooo much 😭 Warm buttery goodness!
I always see these dough sticks in videos and really want to try them!
Love that Ackee and salt fish got a mention! 🇯🇲🇯🇲
I know I feel like Jamaica doesn't really get much love (eve though it does at the same time lol)
Even tho the caption cracked me up😂
classic Filipino rainy day breakfast: Arroz Caldo (chicken rice porridge made with glutinous rice), Champorado (chocolate rice porridge made with glutinous rice, cocoa powder or tablea and sugar), sopas (elbow macaroni in a milky broth with shredded chicken, cut up hotdogs, hardboiled quail eggs, carrots sauteed in butter or oil, garlic and onions, cabbage salt and pepper). We usually use evaporated milk for this. all these dishes perfect for breakfast on a rainy morning.
🇯🇲Love me some Ackee & Saltfish!🇯🇲 I also, would love to try other breakfast dishes from around the world too. Not gonna lie an English Breakfast wouldn’t go a miss too. Yep. I said it! 😅
🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲Ackeeee and Saltfish with fried dumplings...bon appetit
I love this series so much!
In Estonia, a traditional breakfast go-to would be buckwheat porridge, with a hefty spoon full of butter, topped with sour cream & salt; Or fried cut boiled potatoes with onion, fresh dill, salt & pepper, topped with sour cream.
Interesting, you eat potatoes for breakfast in Estonia? I would have assumed that our breakfasts are similar since we are neighbors (Finland), but apparently not!
Arepas, cheese , and the incredible variety of fruits in Colombia or Venezuela make for an amazing breakfast.
Being American, I LOVE a pancake breakfast with sausage patties, sunny side up eggs, hash browns with a cup of hot tea and orange juice!
I also LOVE a full English breakfast, but I can't eat baked beans? So it's an 'almsot' full English 😂 I also make sourdough toast with soft scrambled eggs, thinly sliced avocado, crispy pancetta, seared cherry tomatoes and mushrooms, and I also fold in some chives and garlic pepper in with the eggs! Very nice!
Absolutely love these, hope you have a good day Beryl!
Absolutely one of the best things I see on CZcams. Thankyou to the creator and those who share recipes and culture! I love this so much.
Oooh German Kartoffeln (fried potato’s, carrots , onion and peppers with a little shredded bacon or ham)
I also LOVE congee! Really delicious and filling!
🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🥳🥳🥳🥳
My breakfast today - rye bread (pumpernickel), avocado, mushrooms fried in garlic and soy sauce, fried egg.
I literally ate a whole quart of fried mushrooms for breakfast just the other day. Just some butter and salt...
Try Rye toast with salted butter, and then add grape jelly! It's a game-changer I promise 😉
@@nicolesymonds2349 I'm diabetic unfortunately
Pshesh me tamel, I remember eating it when i was a child ❤
I love this series! Thank you! It gives me so many ideas for recipes to try! 😋
i'm mauritian and vv surprised and happy it was here ♡
Traditional North Scottish Stovies made beef. If it's not bee lf in it it's not Stovies. Was originally your left Sunday roast. 😋
That's looks like a mean Ackee and saltfish 😍😍
I love gato pima
Missing some scandinavian dishes here 🤗
South India s popular idli with tiffen sambar and Kara chutney
South Africa
Kaings on fried Sunnyside up eggs on toast butterd and a thin layer of apricot jam
Kaings ( basically small pork fat cubes fried till golden and crispy, beacon bits can also do but nothing beats the real thing. It is filling and maybe not the most healthy sounding but really makes a Sunday morning feel like a good day
More more, love it love it love it
Vivan las arepas!! Aunque esas se consumen principalmente es en la zona de los andes. El resto del pais las consuememes de amiz
🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
wow your content are very fresh and new, so inspiring and exciting! ❤❤❤
We used to have a bowl of warmed milk with chopped stale bread, a pad of butter and sugar for breakfast.
You should make me breakfast. What a great series.
Please make TAPSILOG! It’s a common breakfast here in the Philippines apart from the classic Pandesal and Kape. Tapsilog is a combination of three foods, which are: TAPa, SInangag (garlic fried rice), and itLOG (egg). I hope you try it, it’s really good! ❤
Arepas andinas with queso de año y agua miel ❤
Vegemite toast from Australia.
Mauritius ❤
Pakistani Bakharkhani - it's a flakey pastry that you pour chai over and eat hot & soggy in a bowl. When i say chai i mean like 90% milk, slow cooked over the hob tea. Then sugar is added to taste. It sounds a mess but its so good lol
Yes, Mauritius is included ❤
And gateau piment is one of the main reason Mauritius has so much obesity and under achieving children
@hairybeermonster no dear, not only gateau pima, but also chana puri, gato lichou, gato pommedeterre, brinjel, Baja pima, and many more. Why blame only gato pima! Also, now I'm craving all😭😌 damn you BEER MONSTER🫣
@@divyabeeharee4898 also chana puri is very good. Mauritians are the worst drivers in the world.
@@divyabeeharee4898lol!

Gato Pima reminds me of Vada Pav 😳
Maybe try-out the Netherlands
Try puri( both sweet and salty) served with channey or halwa.
You can also make nihari
So good but really heavy.
These are few from Pakistan.
I would love to see Belize 🇧🇿 in one of your series/videos.
I wish I could share my recipe too. 🥰
Mauritius!!!!!
And here I am sitting with my coffee with milch, which is my full breakfast 😂
So you should be "thegirlwhodrinks" instead of "thegirlwhoeats" lol
Gosh I sure wish I could try all of these dishes. Where's the smorgasbord Where's the smorgasbord Where's the buffet?😂😂
are those prismo's artisinal pickle earrings?? Where are you getting these??
Those look delicious 🤤
Please try the traditional brekkie from Costa Rica called Gallo Pinto!
Bread and milk I have to be honest doesn't sound appealing but to each their own
The Mauritius breakfast item Gato Pima is very much similar to Fritters or as we call it in India "Pakodas". I have eated gato pimas in Mauritius that is why I know about the similarity.
It’s gateaux piment.. meaning chilli cake in French. Along with Dal poori and Biryani, It was brought by the Bihari indentured labourers on Sugar Plantations..
Its actually closer to masala vada from south india
@@globalcitizenn Correct..
İn turkey we have menemen

Cool series, just one thing id change: you did germany twice ! Where was austria :(
It's all up to who participates, Austrians just need to send in their contribution.
Beryl, I LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS AND IT ALWAYS ALWAYS BEINGS ME SUCH JOY. But I have a question - WHAT do you do with ALL THAT OIL after you are done deep frying all those dishes???
I filter it and save it when I cook veg stuff
You told part 6 is the finale right?🤭
Try the Lebanese breakfast too 😋
Nice earrings, where do you get them from??
Did someone really just have some bread cereal? 😂
I grew up with that lol plus some sugar to make it sweet
(from Bosnia in times of war)
I believe the bread in the milk is only one step of the whole recipe. It reminds me of 'Arme Ritter', which starts out similarly.
Yesss! You can also add bit of coffee and sugar, or cacao! Memories of childhood ❤
I wanted to knock it but I ate cold salted rice as a comfort meal when I was a kid soooo.. guess I can't talk lol
It is so damn delicious when made with freshly baked bread 🤤
Maybe it has originated from poverty and scarsity but I like it. And it's super easy to make even for a child or some of disabled persons.
(my family is russian)

Broodje hagelslag 😉
