Floor, the oh so sensual sexy lady in red with the golden voice, Jukka, the tiger behind the drums, Marko, the best mail voice ever flawlessly harmonizing with Floor, Emppu filling the guitar riffs as only Emppu can,, and Tuomas, the grand mystical maestro composer. It can't get better than this

In my opinion Floor Jansen is the best female singer in the world that I have heard anyway because she can sing any way any how any day and anything. I just love her. God has gifted her with so much talent it is unbelievable and very remarkable. She puts several other singers to shame. Flloor doesn't sing a single Nightwish's operatic era songs with operatic style, not even less operatic classical songs in classical style. She sings them all in contemporary style. She visit some songs in her pseudo-classical styles only momentarily. She doesn't do it live, nor has she recorded any classical style songs in Nightwish. And I'm not saying just that she is not as good as Tarja, but she is in fact only a beginner in classical singing, so saying she could sing opera... heh, in karaoke bar, not operatic style Nightwish nor opera.

Yes, singing Jazz in a generic performance is awesome.. NOT. She should really have been practicing this song before she even attempted to do it. Clearly she didn't. Its jazz, not metal. Floor is good as a metal singer, but ballads is her weak point. Same as when she was tasked to do Scaretale.. like really? Just skip it already. She totally destroyed it. Some songs are best left in the past when they change singers. Scaretale, this one, Eva, Meadows of Heaven, and a few others should never be performed live. They are meant as something special, and should remain that way.

She literally had 48 hours to learn all the songs on the set for the first concert she did with Nightwish and she hadn't even listened to their last album yet when she was asked to replace Anette Olzen. So there's bound to be some mistakes. Both neck and chest make sense in this context.
This one and a few others. Scaretale comes to mind too, Eva is sure to not be as good as it was with Anette, and Meadows of Heaven. Essentially any ballad from her two albums with Nightwish. Floor is good when it comes things like Ghost Love Score, The Poet and the Pendulum and such, but she is so bad at ballads its not funny. No feeling, no emotion, no nothing.
I like floor, but its low registration is horrible, it is forced, this version is awful, nothing to do with ghost love score, phantom of the opera that are given incredible, hopefully someone tells you to avoid singing low notes, it is not the same as growling
You always need to give it some space, patience, and have an open mind. When I first heard this song, I never gave it any thought and moved on. It was only a few months after I saw the movie clip, that I really got into it, then never looked back. One of my favourite songs. They are all so good at what they do, and sound amazing, on stage. off stage, studio, in the street, they are just amazing. Also, about what you said about the lows, this was 2012. She has evolved alot since then, and she can do anything now. Just anything.
In comparison with pop singers that always try to be sexy, Floor does not try it...she's inherently sexy and naturally attractive...
