- Hi everyone! Here a small documentary recorded by Hannes Van Dahl, recorded at my final solo show at AFAS Live, Amsterdam! This video was made possible by the crowdfunders who funded the crowdfunding campaign to record this show in 3 hours. I dedicate this video to all of you, my fans, for being there with me. Enjoy!
This video was a bonus goal for the crowdfunding campaign. Due to all extra costs related to having to move the shows multiple times, and also turning it into 3 shows instead of 1 big show we were unable to make a longform documentary. We had to move production companies multiple times for example. All extra costs and investment mostly went into the show recording.

"Just a guy from Holland who can sing". - Oh Henk, my dear, you are a fucking legend. A giant.
I was working out in a local gym when Jean-Claude van Damme came in, also to work out. He was filming scenes for "Ultimate Soldier" nearby. It was just the two of us. The girl at the desk went a little shaky when she recognized him. Finally gathered up the courage to walk over and ask, "Are you really Jean-Claude van Damme"? He smiled and replied, "I'm the short version".
I find that people who have accomplished much are (usually) very modest about their achievements when confronted in person.
I loved his answer, he knows he is great, let others say it. Floor is the same way, always downplaying her greatness, and that to me is the true sense of greatness. Henk, "What she can do with her voice is just unbelievable." "Unbelievable."

Here in Australia ,I was only made aware of Floor and Nightwish by a reaction video on CZcams about 4 months ago ,I don't think i've listened to any other music since then. In my 59 years I have never heard such a beautiful and versatile voice .i hope Nightwish make it back to Australia other wise i may have to visit Europe.

I love this so much! I discovered Floor through doing Nightwish Reactions and have fallen in love with not just her voice but her personality and vibe. Floor radiates kindness and love. It's contagious and always puts a smile on my face; ;) And the Nightwish Army are one of the kindest people I have ever met. I feel very grateful to have connected with such beautiful community. Sitting here after watching this wonderful documentary, with tears in my eyes. The emotional ending when Floor leaves the stage, says more than all the words in the world could ever do. Pitching in for this, was the best thing I have done for the love of music.
Hannes did an absolutely fabulous job with this documentary, it had me tearing up in places. So thankful to be able to be a part of this from across an ocean. Much love to you Floor and the rest of the team that made this possible. 💜

This documentary is really good. Her music is fantastic
Hannes is a beast!!! They make the most gorgeous, talented couple ever, but they are absolutely so cool to watch on stage, and these intimate moments are by far my favorite!!!
I think you aren't completely aware of the effect you cause on people. You cure, you make us laugh, cry, jump, scream, you make us HAPPY. And there are been two particular things in the documentary that have taken my attention.
1º-How all of your mates in this solo shows describe you: professional, funny, nice colleague and the best voice they've (and I've) heard in a long long time. And all these adjectives are what we, your fans, can feel through your work, your videos, your music, with not even getting to know you face to face. That's your power, you are TRUTH and MUSIC, and that's something that cannot be hidden.
And 2º- The last scene of the solo show, when you say goodbye and turn back, did you get emotional? It felt like you did and that, again, shows how much you care about what you do and your audience. I can't say anything more than THANK YOU!! I wish you and your family a Happy New Year from Spain.
Floor, you are just wonderful. I need to add a small story to a sentence, that Marcel Fisser said. He said: "they look to her, Oh man, it's floor." - On Saturday, wifey went shopping, and came home with a small female rabbit, the fifth in total. Again ;) But just imagine, because she knows, how much I adore Floor Jansen, the rabbit ist called Floor. Just an example, how much Floor Jansen means to me, to my family.
I love how her music brings together so many different people. You have young and old people alike. People who look like rockers and people who don't. They all just love Floor and her music. I think that's cool.
Can I just say that Hannes(&co) has done such an amazing job filming this, I'm so impressed!!! :D I loved this day so much, seeing myself & my friends' happy faces, the band, crew & of course Floor so happy in this docu made me feel all emotional again, I had my 'beste jankers" tussues ready for the occasion, I feel so melancholic! :) Thank you so much for this evening & this documentary, it's a night I'll never forget.

I will be seeing "NightWish " May 20 2022 in L.A. Calif. it will be my first concert attendance in over 30 years it will be an Epic moment of my life to be able to be there.

Pitching in was never out of the question, but seeing your emotion when leaving the stage Floor, makes it even more worth while. I'm glad you and all the other musicians, crew members etc. were able to go on stage (or behind) and give us this beautiful show to look back at. Thank you all so much, but especially you Floor (sorry guys and girls, don't take it personally please 😉). Your voice touches me in so many different ways, I always come back to listening to you. Whether I'm happy, sad, etc., it doesn't matter. Thank you for doing what you do and - as I get to "know" you a teeny tiny bit better every month or so - being who you are 😘

I just watched the whole show tonight floor and the rest of you beautiful people I’m a die hard nightwish fan but I was absolutely blown away by you and the rest of your crew at the Holland show there is nothing more I can add or say but holy smokes floor for me it’s the way you represent your music I mean I can just see the joy and energy that flows from you I know COVID was bad for us all but l think it’s found another side of you … god bless!

One of the crowd funders names instantly stuck out to me, Loretta Caravello. Loretta is the sister of the one and only Eric Carr, the drummer from KISS, who sadly passed away on the same day as Freddie Mercury. Eric is still one of my all time greatest drummers, RIP Little Caesar ❤

I have so many emotions from this documentary, I was both happy😃 and wanted to cry😭, Floor, for me you are the best singer on the planet❤️.
So happy to have seen one of the live shows in early 2020 with my oldest daughter and to support the indiegogo to immortalise this. I've been a Nightwish fan for ages, and through Beste Zangers and these solo shows I have now managed to make both my teenage daughters Nightwish fans. A father could not wish for more. The three of us hope to see you in Amsterdam in November 2022!
Floor, your generous spirit during the pandemic, bringing your world to all of us, has been one of the best experiences I’ve had during this difficult time. This documentary is wonderful! Thanks to Hannes and everyone who made it possible for us to enjoy Floor, Henk, the band and singers. Happy New Year! Hopefully I’ll see you in May in the US. Fingers crossed! 🎭

A lot of applause should also go to the guy who made the call for the tour to happen as well as the band members who agreed to go from pop to a different style and the people managing the tour dates the postponings etc. I cant even imagine the process behind such a venture. Are you offended on her behalf or you just felt the need to correct me? As far as I know Miss is used for unmarried people. I used Mrs. because she is married and even though I could use the second option you mentioned I chose not to since I have seen cases where a spouse is mentioned by their intial family name. Furthermore, in my view, using the form Mrs Jansen shows I aknowledge her and her achievement and experience. If say... It was such a magical night, and extra special to share with my 9 year old daughter. At first it was a bit strange to sit beside a stranger after +1,5 years of "keeping distance" But it created such a nice vibe. Had wonderfull conversations with the people around us and everyone was so excited to be there. Thank you so much!

Loved every minute of this show (and the one I saw in Tilburg too). From watching Hannes walk around with his camera and exchanging a few words with him, to being inside a large music venue again, seeing you walk on stage all happy and enjoying the music with the crowd. Setting the huge talent of all involved aside for a second. Floor is a genuinely nice, warm hearted, person surrounded by people sharing those qualities. No 'spoiled brat' stars here. Genuine people with genuine talent and its great to see them all having as much fun as their audience.
This is why I have always followed Floor and have a new found respect for Henk and the Marcel Fisser Band. Long may their success continue.
I wish I could've been there myself! Luckily the second best thing is being able to join the tour from my own couch, with a cup of tea and warm blanket. I've met Marcel, the guitarist and leader of the band. After this show actually. He's such a kind guy. Totally underestimates himself it feels like, but so incredibly kind and caring.

I worked for years as a tour truck driver for some of the biggest and smallest bands in the world and I had the time of my life. Very few artists show or acknowledge all the hard work behind the scenes but I have noticed that you and nightwish always do even if it is just a mention in video credits.
We would still be there without any Thankyou as it is the job we love but when there is a Thankyou it means so much more.

It's been a pleasure hearing the songs from the live show and watching the performances. It was a privilege supporting you through Indiegogo. I'm really looking forward to hearing more music. I was not at this specific evening, I was there the first evening so I'm very happy to see this from the last evening! Lovely to see some behind the scenes videos at how it all works and who participated! Very cool to see that all who were asked described you in a similar way and I too agree. You seem like such a beautiful human soul who is professional, funny, lovely, kind and down to Earth! I attended the show with my wife (her gift for my birthday). It was great! Great interaction with a lot of people from all kinds of backgrounds and music taste.
So great to see all of you on stage, and all the happy people from the audience. Everybody is just so hungry to be in a live concert setting again. And also great job to all you who filmed and edited this behind the scenes mini doc. I am really looking forward to when I can put this on, and then jump on in to the whole concert.
