Ive seen all your podcasts and decided to watch them again today. I just love your relationship. My husband was murdered in 2008 and watching you guys go at it reminds me so much of my husband and I that it just brings back so many good memories. You both make me smile 😃 and keep me laughing! Thank you

Renae... A lightly brewed chamomile tea for your baby helps alot. I had a colic baby too. Also if it's slightly warm is even better. It really helps after a few bottles between 2 to 4oz.

Both of my sons had Colic. My youngest had it the worst and to make it even more worse, he had bad reflux. There were times he had blood in his stool. Definitely some hard times. Probiotics definitely helped with the colic. Also our doctor prescribed Lansoprazole if your daughter is having reflux issues. Also Pro Similac Pro Sensitive was the formula that we used! Prayers for Baby D!

Hi guys! My almost 3 month old baby Abilene suffers from colic. The way we helped her was,I immediately stopped breast feeding and she is now on Similac Pro Sensitive (gold lid) for fussiness & gas due to lactose sensitivity . After her feedings I lay her flat on her back and rub her belly softly (upper chest to lower belly),I bend her legs in and out almost like bike pedaling. If she still hasn't burped or passed gas I then, stand her up and sit her down,in a playing manner, until she burps or passes gas. So far this has worked for us. Good luck, I know its hard, but it does get better.. Keep us posted !

Renae, what formula are u guys using for her? If it’s neutramigen then switch to alimentum, both are hypoallergenic. And if u do switch plz use the ready to feed version since that contains very very very less dairy, which many abtimes colicky babies have issues with. The thing is colic is a blanket term, I am sure u already know this, there is always an underlying reason like acid reflux or gas issues due to the formula. For temporary relief u can try belly massages, warm bath, gas drops, bicycling legs. I hope this really helps. I have a baby with acid reflux and still dealing with it all at 6 months, but changing the formula and the right acid reflux meds really really help.

Reaching out as a new mom. My now 9 month old had similar symptoms as Delilah. After taking him to the doctor and a GI specialist he was diagnosed with severe reflux issues. We tried to switch different formulas and he is on different reflux meds. Im still struggling with issues with now constipation and reflux but the meds have helped so much. It's hard as a parent to see your child struggling as well as not being able to sleep. That fear, anxiety, and anger you feel is exactly what I feel all the time. You are not alone!

Hubby and I housed my parents, my sister, brother-in-law, niece, my other sister, and her fiancé last week. Luckily our well pump did good and we kept warm with the fireplace during long rolling blackouts. I had a Steve Trevino Marathon, and we all binge watched your comedy specials on Prime! The laughs help keep us from going crazy! 🍻Love from Medina Lake! 🥰

Colicky babies do get better. Gripe water helps, holding her upright after eating for better digestion. My 16 year old had it for 4 months. Hang in there. It will be better.

I had a colicky baby and went through a the formulas out there!! I finally found the one that worked!! Mind you this was back in 1998!! I used Carnation Good Start. It was fairly new on the market and real cheap!! It worked wonders!! It was like a day and night child!! I used it for my other two kids after that!! 🙌🙏

Our first baby had colic for 6 months and would go bezerk from 10pm - 3am. The other hours of the day with her were tough because she required constant contact and was very emotional. It was so hard and we tried everything to try and solve the problem. Compound that with that she was our first baby and we were completely overwhelmed. I hope you guys can work through it and come out sane on the other side.

Renae Trevino I just want to say how much I love your hair and outfit. Also, my husband has rubber rings. We used to have titanium but they'd get lost during working on vehicles, slipping off, etc.
And with the baby being colicky I've dealt with this myself. I use enfamil gentlease and if ever need be I use what's called gripe water. But it also could be a lactose intolerant thing in which only two formulas are specially made for that. Nutramigen by enfamil or Similac alimentum.
Just wanna say we love you guys!

4 oz of distilled water, 1 tsp of white cider vinegar and 1 tsp of pasteurized honey. Shake it up in a bottle. She will let out a burp and go to sleep. We did this on two occasions and she was cured. This came from a mother of 5.

The white cider vinegar cuts the gas. She could be allergic to milk so you have to find the correct formula. My girl had to be on soy. There is also goat milk. For throwing up/gas, burp her every 1 to 2 oz and sit her up for 20 mins after eating.

Have 5 kids and having a fussy baby was the worst. Gas drops and hold baby with one arm while they lay on there stomach. This position worked for me it was only way my baby would get any sleep. I just had to adjust to being one handed.

Having a colic baby sucks. My daughter had it for a week. I am a local truck driver. The only sleep i got was in my truck. Thd only thing i can tell you is change formula and feed more with less ounces. Like going from 2 to 1 in a half. Gripe water works for that as well. Love you guys.

Funny how my husband has family (3 brothers, 1 sister and 6 nephews) in Dallas, but when I heard of the bad weather, I thought of you guys first! 😆 I knew you’d be on vacation but I actually had you guys on my mind more than his/our family 😂. Glad nothing major happened back at home and that you all were able to make the most of the situation.
I’m sure you’ve tried many already.. but there are many many videos on how to hold a baby with colic to help calm them, or release any gasses. I wish I could link the most helpful one here in the comments 🤦🏽‍♀️. But it’s definitely struggle. She will hopefully soon grow out of it as she gets bigger. I think it’s due to her development and once everything gets in to place she will so smiley & giggly.
God bless you and your family 🙏🏽. I know me and my husband wouldn’t have made it if one of our twins had colic. It was bad enough breast feeding and pumping for two on top of one of my girls having thrush and acid reflux.
This too shall pass 🙏🏽 ♥️

I'm going to share what my mom taught me, it's an old school remedy. Warm a tablespoon of olive oil and massage her belly, I even gave my girls the teeniest drop or two as well, and then I swaddled them tightly. I'm sure you having her wrapped on the plane helped her sleep.
If all else fails, get that egg out for ojo. I'm sure a little sana, sana won't hurt either. 🤣
Glad y'all made it home safe and just know that this too shall pass.
Hope she feels better soon and you all can get some rest and relief. 🤗

I went to your show on Valentine’s Day in Miami. I was in the front section. Loved the show and your son is so adorable. God bless both your kids. When my son was a baby he also had colic and acid reflux his pediatrician recommended me to place a Bobby pillow on his crib over the mattress and feed him elevated. It would reduce the air that she takes in. Try soy formula. Maybe she’s sensitive to the milk protein in the formula. Hope this helps. Stay safe.

Just think, sir, if you actually were home 24/7 like your saint of a wife and nanny are. They don’t get to “go work until midnight”. They are working every single second of every single day taking care of this colicky baby, your son and the day to day household crap. My 1st of 2 kids was colicky. He is now 35 with a 15 yr old son, but I was in tears with that child for the 1st 6+ months of his life. I’m not bashing you, I promise, you are providing a wonderful life for your family. I just want you to be a little more sensitive with your words when speaking of how hard it is for you to have to go work and then come home to a screaming baby...because she has been there ALL DAY.
Love your comedy. Hope to see you Live someday. Take care and Texas is in all our prayers 💜

You need to see your baby's pediatrician so they can recommend a formula that she may digest. Some times it gets hard to transition from breast milk to formula. Maybe sure your doctor makes the recommendations so they can keep an eye on how she reacts.
