Like the shade frame! What material is the roof gonna be? Couple of things to think about; watch out for‘dissimilar metal fatigue where the base meets the original boat frame and think about using rubber mounts (or better still removable mounts) to take the stress of the roof acting like an wing when you’re motoring!

It’s wet and cold here today so I have given your ‘shade roof’ some serious thought….really..I hear you say! This is a great opportunity to use fluid dynamics to help you trim your boat at speed using airflow rather than dense water drag (from the trimmers). All you need to do is design a variable incidence wing shape cover for your frame and try to minimise the drag ( Cl 1/2r V(squared)S)….hmmmm maybe! & maximise the lift with a slim profile smooth laminar flow section. Then you just need to adjust the incidence of the ..shade(lol) to produce lift for bow down trim or drag for the opposite in order to run your trim tabs at zero….bingo! My brain hurts!

None. There's a very slight crush on the black levels, but that's it. Straight out of the GoPro.
